Excellent food and location. Stopped in for dinner before going to the theater at Prince of Wales, right around the corner. Lovely restaurant with plenty of seating for large parties or even just an individual. Service was great and came with a smile and recommendations. Lots of veggie and vegan options. I had the green vegetarian curry and sweet potato fries-both EXCELLENT. Paired with a nice red and made for a superb meal before the show. I highly recommend!

Not a bad stop near the theaters. The space is huge, plenty of seating. They had a combo meal for early dinner which is what I got. I had the spring rolls and the beef stir fry. It was pretty good and wasn't too expensive, around £12 for the combo. It was a nice change from typical British fare.

I had the black pepper beef noodles, Thai calamari, snake bean salad and spring rolls. They were all very good. Never seen these dishes in the States. I like how the restaurant sit people in large commune tables of 10 people different concept.

Chose two of the set menu options with snack, small plate and meal; each for £19.99. We had the chips/seaweed for the snack and satay skewers/bang-kick prawns for the small plates. For our meals we had Tamarind duck breast char-grill and the Thai seafood pasta. The duck was the chewiest meat I've had in my entire life. Don't ever say that's the way duck is. Go to a Chinese restaurant and try duck (When done right it does not require excessive chewing). The flavor was good. The cooking and preparation of the duck was not. 0/5 The pasta was spicy, but it featured the tiniest mussels I've ever seen in my entire life. The shrimp was small as well. Here's some advice, quality over quantity. Dropped the mussels and put in bigger shrimp or the other way around. There's no point in having more with less quality. The flavor of the pasta was a bit lacking. It had a kick to it. It was ordered with the yam fries. That's impossible to screw up, ... just kidding. The dip was a Siracha Mayo mix and it was way too much Siracha and not enough Mayo. It lacked creaminess. There's a Siracha bottle on every table. If I wanted more Siracha I could and it. I didn't need it to be 90% Siracha and 10% Mayo. 3/5 The snacks were OK. Like literally OK. 3/5 The small plates were not terrible. Shrimp were tiny but that's ok for an appetizer dish that was more based on flavor. Flavor wasn't excellent. Chicken satay skewers would be dry had it not been the sauce. 2/5 We had 2 mango Lassi, too much yogurt, not enough mango, and needed more ice. Overall, well you can guess. When it comes to proportion, maybe it's a preference but... 2.5/5 The service, when it shows up, they're decent. But we found we were forgotten. They already tack on service charge. So adding any more is all up to you. I believe if they know you exist that they should be rewarded, IF they did.

Recently visited Busaba for a pre movie dinner to discover they do an excellent pre theatre set menu. Two courses for £9.90 I've always loved the food here, and with the pre theatre set menu it has become a really great value for money, tasty option for a quick feed. We had the spring rolls and the Thai calamari. The calamari is an absolute favourite of mine, I always order it. For mains we had the ginger beef and the pad Thai. Both were delicious and filling portions. Good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to select from. Service was great and very efficient. Highly recommend for a quick pre theatre dinner, or a regular dinner night out.

I didn't like the fish cakes, too pungent for my taste. Liked the noodles I had, although I'd go for another meat choice besides beef. Wasn't to my liking. Having seen the reviews of people queuing up at the weekends to get in,I knew we'd found a winner, & so it proved, fresh ingredients cooked well (sounds basic, but trust me so many places get them wrong). Siam Central covers the lot, great customer service, delivers on food quality texture & flavours,my son had duck mee goreng & I had the prawn red curry with chicken satay on the side with a couple of beers - magical Highly recommend & great value for money in the heart London

A restaurant doesn't score 5 stars for being perfect - no no, 5 stars are reserved for that ideal…read moremix of great food and feel within its own self-selected category. Siam Eatery has done exactly this, rising to the top of the food chain in the fast-eats Asian category in the busy Covent Garden area. First, the price point is right on with others in their category (think Wasabi and Itsu) at around 8 pounds for a solid meal. You can get away for 5.50 if you're not that hungry and don't want a drink - but then you'll miss out on their stellar Thai Iced Tea. And, might I add, this is the first quick-eats Asian place I've visited that has mastered - let alone even TRIED - Thai Iced Tea. DO IT. Second, mains are wonderful. Customisable and packed with flavour, the curries don't just peg to the meat and veg, there's enough juice in there to create that perfect coated, rich rice base that is why we REALLY love curry. Their everyday special chicken is stunning (think spicy-red curry), while their standard red and green are just as good and full of flavour. The options of red, brown and white rice, or without rice and salad instead, have reached Tortilla-level customisation without having traded options for quality (as Tortilla have done, IMHO). Third, it's crazy fast. Most everything is pre-made, as this category is good at, but they do so well to keep you from knowing it. Everything is kept hot and unpackaged (except for the fridge salads, of course), and made just for you. It really does feel like you've stumbled into a legit curry house here. The spot is busy come lunchtime, though you'll get dinner in 30 seconds flat. And unlike a lot of popular lunch spots around, they're open til 20:00 most nights, making dinner here feasible. There are about 10 seats in this place, but you don't need to eat here. Though it's nice and classy, this is undoubtedly a grab-and-go place. Seriously, though - don't forget your Thai Iced Tea. Would be a shame to miss the cherry atop the sundae at this gem of a curry palace.

The cafe is very well positioned for Covent Garden but is off the beaten track so not full of tourists. They have a selection of different warm dishes, varying in spicy-ness and meats. They also sell some lovely looking salads. The price is reasonable for Covent Garden with the veg curry costing £5 and salads £4.80. They also have a few seats inside and they don't charge you extra to eat in which is great! The staff are lovely too and will advise you on what to have if you're not a huge fan of spicy food (I only realised this after fighting my way through the red Thai curry though). I went back again today and had a delicious satay chicken sandwich which was very yummy.
