    Duck curry
    Will B.

The food was okay. To much ice in the Thai milk tea. I had the Curry duck, which I have had around the world. The duck was not fresh and the portion was small. The flavor was spicy but missing something. It was one dimensional. The service was very good and quick. The restaurant is very fancy and the atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing.

Rice isn't even included for a 18 pound lunch curry. Food didn't taste that spicy nor flavorful. Very bland wouldn't come back. Inside is very nice and servers were kind.

A very nice Thai restaurant just off Trafalgar Square. We had prompt service even on New Year's Day with the London NYDPrade going on outside. The Pad Thai was very nice. I could have used a little more spice, but I forgot to ask for that. Other people had the green curry and said it was very good. Overall a very nice experience.

Recommended by our hotel not far from it so we decided to give it a go. They were listed on TheFork, which had a special two course pre-theater dinner which was also supposed to be good today when I got there the manager wasn't too happy about it, he did allowing me to use it, with an attitude funny thing is I never did use it because I didn't like what was on it. The food was good. The waitress was very nice, I had the pad Thai with tofu and the eggroll vegetarian. We also had the appetizers for two we had the chicken soup we had some duck and we had some curry chicken. Everything was good I let the beginning of the meal with the attitude from the gentleman go !!!and enjoyed my meal.

    - lots of space inside, with an upstairs - dimly lit - good for big parties (saw groups of 12 sit comfortably) - pad thai was excellent with 5 prawns - duck wrap was excellent; tasted like peking duck - crisps were really delicious and the sauce was spicy Overall, prices are higher, but you ARE in the middle of Trafalgar Square. Rent is high, so it's ~30% higher than your traditional Thai restaurant. Still great quality, kind staff, and a good meal. No thai iced coffee - shame.

This is our second Thai spot we have tried on our trip to London. This one was even better. We stopped on our walk to shop and I'm so glad we did. The atmosphere was perfect and the ambiance with low-lighting and art covered the walls throughout the restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. We started with Prawn Crackers, delicious. For our main course, we ordered the stir fry with ginger and the Thai Square Fried Rice and both were impeccably appetizing.

The service was extremely prompt, service was impeccable - dropped my fork and they were on top of it in just a few moments, and the food was extremely tasty! Yes I would have this again, I had Panang with Shrimp, and husband Spicy Seafood!

We stopped in for lunch on our way to Picadilly Circus because this place had a sign out front with delicious looking and relatively inexpensive lunch options. Once inside, those delicious looking, reasonably priced options out front were no-where to be found on the menu. I had to walk back to the entrance to ask for the "special" lunch menu after seeing a waiter returning it to a drawer from another table that had been perusing it. I had to do that because literally everyone on staff managed to avoid making eye contact while I tried to flag someone down to ask for it. Same problem whenever we needed water, when were prepared to order, and once the food was deposited at the table we never saw our waiter again. Finally, in frustration I went and tracked them down for more water and yes. even the check. Whether Intentional or not, I was plenty put out by the time we left. The food? Not bad, nothing special. The service? Terrible, never have I ever seen such poor service. I'm done. I get it, not to worry, I'll never visit again.

Vegaterian pad Thai and Green Curry, Coconut Rice
    Kristen J.

Great location and Great vegaterian options for us veggies. The service was quick and actually really great. Located at trafalgar square, near Westminster, national museum, a short walk to any of the plays. The decor was nice. Even a thai girl playing music dressed traditionally We ate the vegaterian pad Thai which is the best we had I the city and the portion size was great. We also ordered the green Curry vegaterian dish also extremely Delish and a large portion Coconut rice which was good but a high price for size of serving at 3.50£ Bathrooms were awful, not clean, extra supplies laid out, I had to go open my own pack of tissue. Needs a serous deep cleaning. I am always disappointed when a restaurant does not keep their toilets clean it always makes me wonder what else is not important to them to clean.

A restaurant doesn't score 5 stars for being perfect - no no, 5 stars are reserved for that ideal…read moremix of great food and feel within its own self-selected category. Siam Eatery has done exactly this, rising to the top of the food chain in the fast-eats Asian category in the busy Covent Garden area. First, the price point is right on with others in their category (think Wasabi and Itsu) at around 8 pounds for a solid meal. You can get away for 5.50 if you're not that hungry and don't want a drink - but then you'll miss out on their stellar Thai Iced Tea. And, might I add, this is the first quick-eats Asian place I've visited that has mastered - let alone even TRIED - Thai Iced Tea. DO IT. Second, mains are wonderful. Customisable and packed with flavour, the curries don't just peg to the meat and veg, there's enough juice in there to create that perfect coated, rich rice base that is why we REALLY love curry. Their everyday special chicken is stunning (think spicy-red curry), while their standard red and green are just as good and full of flavour. The options of red, brown and white rice, or without rice and salad instead, have reached Tortilla-level customisation without having traded options for quality (as Tortilla have done, IMHO). Third, it's crazy fast. Most everything is pre-made, as this category is good at, but they do so well to keep you from knowing it. Everything is kept hot and unpackaged (except for the fridge salads, of course), and made just for you. It really does feel like you've stumbled into a legit curry house here. The spot is busy come lunchtime, though you'll get dinner in 30 seconds flat. And unlike a lot of popular lunch spots around, they're open til 20:00 most nights, making dinner here feasible. There are about 10 seats in this place, but you don't need to eat here. Though it's nice and classy, this is undoubtedly a grab-and-go place. Seriously, though - don't forget your Thai Iced Tea. Would be a shame to miss the cherry atop the sundae at this gem of a curry palace.

The cafe is very well positioned for Covent Garden but is off the beaten track so not full of tourists. They have a selection of different warm dishes, varying in spicy-ness and meats. They also sell some lovely looking salads. The price is reasonable for Covent Garden with the veg curry costing £5 and salads £4.80. They also have a few seats inside and they don't charge you extra to eat in which is great! The staff are lovely too and will advise you on what to have if you're not a huge fan of spicy food (I only realised this after fighting my way through the red Thai curry though). I went back again today and had a delicious satay chicken sandwich which was very yummy.
