I didn't want the traditional white dress. I wanted something that would fit me, flatter my curves and be regal and also be practical enough to wear again. I hate waste and I sincerely, for me, wanted a dress I could wear again without feeling weird. Jarred started with the feelings, colors, and reference designs I loved. He took me through not just the things I loved but how they would look ON ME. When we went to Britex and found the fabric, he immediately was able to show me several looks and why they were or weren't appropriate for different fabrics, and my skin tone. In the end, the dress was so beautiful we both agreed - we had something magical. My wedding was like a theatre show. One quick call to Tom and he was able to take us as soon as we could get there. Fast forward to 40 minutes later, we are walking into the lovely Gene Hiller, where there's ample seating, beautiful views, and fireplaces blazing. Tom graciously told us he would pay for our parking and showed us to a seating area to wait, as he was finishing up with another customer. We were even offered beverages while we waited. Once Tom got us started, he and his tailor had the four guys in suits and measured within an hour! For reference, Indocino had said it would take an hour per person to fit and measure. Plus, Tom was able to meet our budget needs with suits that are of the utmost quality and design. Honestly, save yourself the trouble of trying the "cheap" places and come to Gene Hiller to see Tom. Not only will he get you amazing suits, but they have a tailor on-site and they know what they're doing. One of our groomsmen lives out of town and Tom was excellent at being able to work with him to get him a matching suit from afar. At my age, eight y seven, I probably will never buy a suit, but I have asked my son to do so, and I am sure he will be perfectly serviced. I don't know why negative reviews show up, but I would suggest that the rudeness they perceive is simply their own unbridled narcissism projected upon a dignified, sinless staff, who seem to be quite forgiving of such entitlement.

The gentleman in the bespoke suit (Daniel), the refined tailor in the back (Lily), and your choice of water, coffee, or whiskey. You'll be warmly greeted by Daniel, who is as idiosyncratic as he is confident. You will share your vision and Daniel will share his expertise. Praising your good ideas and candidly letting you know your bad ideas. We begin the measuring process... with a PROTRACTOR. What is he doing with it? Solving for y = mx + b? Finding a parabola? I don't know, I failed math. But I know he found find that my right shoulder was 1.5 cm lower than my left. He also found the angle that my back curves. And every other measurement necessary to create the tux that is perfect for you. You'll come back for your first fitting and it will already be near perfect. Despite all of the materials being bought, handcut, and carefully constructed to you, he will still offer you your money back guarantee. If you are not happy with this fine italian tuxedo made for you, he will give you back the $2,000+ you paid. But of course you will be happy. Him and Lily will have a little banter about what needs to be fixed. (This is good I think, keeps Daniel humble.) They'll fix up the tuxedo one or two more times and you'll be good to go. It'll look great but when you wear it on your special occasion, you'll really notice that you're wearing a million bucks. Daniel is quite generous with his gifts and advice. I would ask him why? And he says it's because he likes me. Does he actually like me? Maybe, I sure hope so! Regardless, I like him and Lily enough to spend the most I ever have on a suit.
