Later on after rsvps came in I corrected and let her know that it was closer to 80 people . She said she would adjust the price . -awesome ! The day of my wedding came and the caterers pulled up and started cooking . That's when things got bad. There was not enough food . They fed 75% of my guests then Cynthia started drinking Coronas (that she brought herself) and I'm guessing getting tipsy Judd Hong by how she acted later . My husbands relatives were waiting for food after flying from New York for our special day. It took an hour and the caterers kids had eaten a ton on their first trip to the buffet. And yet my guests had not all eaten .After that Cynthia began bad mouthing her ex husband (in front of the kids she had with him) and calling her kids fat! What on earth ?! I was so and stressed out My dad ended up having to go pick up pizza later to feed my guests . It's such a shame because the food is pretty good . I've waited a while to write this review because one of my sisters had a relationship with her son and I didn't want to embarrass or hurt them . Also until now they had no platform for reviews . It was super convenient having them coordinate the table design at their warehouse, including the linens, plateware, and glassware. While the design meeting isn't a "boutique" curated experience, their warehouse has plenty of options to choose from if you already have a general color palette and vibe in mind. On the wedding day, the staff was extremely attentive and brought us hand rolls before cocktail hour even started to ensure we actually got to eat. The live hand roll station was a massive hit with our guests and absolutely delicious. I also appreciated how open they were to our custom cocktails; I provided my own recipe and li hing powder for a pineapple li hing margarita, which they executed perfectly. Cost-wise, this is not a budget vendor and is on the more expensive side. Initial communication was great, but it trailed off as we got closer to the date. Despite their "quick response" phone number, my calls and texts went completely ignored. To make matters worse, the voicemail changed from a personal greeting to a generic one 72 hours before my event, leaving me terrified that we had been scammed. We increased our headcount from 65 to 75 a week prior. After being told this was fine, I was sent an incorrect invoice that ignored the new guest count and asked for a second $300 deposit I had already paid. It took multiple follow-up emails just to get a confirmation on the final numbers. On the day of, the staff arrived promptly and set up on time. However, only 30 minutes into service--with only 30 of our 75 guests fed--they completely ran out of cilantro, onions, and grilled peppers. When I followed up the next day, they claimed they prepared for "70 guests." Even if that were true, it wasn't the 75 we paid for, and it certainly doesn't explain running out of basic toppings after 30 people. I'm incredibly glad we didn't use them for our wedding last year as originally planned. It's disappointing when the service doesn't match the reputation. 2 stars for due prompt service and the guests that got all the food really enjoyed the steak & shrimp.

Plus it was $40 for a half slab. it took awhile before the lady announced my Tri Tip sandwich was ready. The first bite was a little hard to swallow. It tasted fine. It was just a little tough to chew. I poured the bbq juice that came in the little plastic container, which helped. I wished I had a tender cut, dripping with juice though. Maybe next time I order, I'll get lucky with a juicy sandwich. But I'll make sure to ask for more plastic containers of juice.
