It's ok. The meat tastes like a roast and similar in texture. Too bad it's not smoked instead of grilled. Staff is friendly and they take Apple Pay. Service is quick. I'm leaving a review in order to place a current menu with prices as of August 1st 2025.

Mansmith's what happened??!! Normally I get my Mansmith's fix 1-2 times a year either at the Mushroom Mardi Gras or Taste of Morgan Hill. I just found out that they had a truck in Hollister that's open Fridays and Saturdays 12pm-7pm. Despite the horrible reviews I decided to come here anyways, I just assumed people were exaggerating (they were not). I got here right at 12pm and when I pulled up I could see the Tri-Tip on the grill cooking, it smelled amazing and there was only one customer in front of me. I already knew that I wanted a tri-tip sandwich and when I went to order I asked them if they took debit/credit cards, they said they do but charge $2. $2 to use your debit/credit card!!! That's a little much! I then left to go get cash and came back and ordered the tri-tip sandwich and a half order of garlic bread. The sandwich was given to me immediately and I had to go to the grill to get the garlic bread. Now let's start with the good first, the garlic bread was the star and the best item that I had. It was grilled and had a nice crisp to it. It had a generous amount of garlic and is literally the best garlic bread that I've had. Now the tri-tip sandwich is a different story. Every time that I've had Mansmith's at the festivals the tri-tip has always been juicy and cooked to perfection but here it was wayyy overcooked and chewy. Not even the overly peppered and watery bbq sauce could save it. I'm very sad and disappointed. I probably won't be back and will only have them at the festivals from now on.

Amazing tritip sandwiches so fresh and satisfying. Yes they have long lines but they move right along and the food is so worth it!

This BBQ changed my whole standard on meat and flavor. Vibe was immaculate, the spot was smelling good, and the food tasted even better.

Their brisket is off top some of the best I've had in Santa Cruz and their garlic bread and pulled pork are all a must.

I know what you're thinking but I'm the furthest thing from a bridezilla . We are a chill hippie couple who had a wedding in the woods . It was a small wedding . Originally we were thinking 120 people. Cynthia was easy to contact and gave me a quote and the price was great . I put down the deposit and all was well. Later on after rsvps came in I corrected and let her know that it was closer to 80 people . She said she would adjust the price . -awesome ! The day of my wedding came and the caterers pulled up and started cooking . That's when things got bad. There was not enough food . They fed 75% of my guests then Cynthia started drinking Coronas (that she brought herself) and I'm guessing getting tipsy Judd Hong by how she acted later . My husbands relatives were waiting for food after flying from New York for our special day. It took an hour and the caterers kids had eaten a ton on their first trip to the buffet. And yet my guests had not all eaten .After that Cynthia began bad mouthing her ex husband (in front of the kids she had with him) and calling her kids fat! What on earth ?! I was so and stressed out My dad ended up having to go pick up pizza later to feed my guests . It's such a shame because the food is pretty good . I've waited a while to write this review because one of my sisters had a relationship with her son and I didn't want to embarrass or hurt them . Also until now they had no platform for reviews . I can't go on with a clear conscience thinking that someone might make the mistake of having this company Caterer a day as special as their wedding After everything I texted Cynthia "hey I would like to go over how everything went down on my wedding day " (I wanted to ask what happened because I don't know how they ran out of food they supposedly prepared for 120 people and I gave them several months noticeI was sure that she would explain everything and it would be ok . She was so nice and we gave them a massive tip either way bc I wanted to support small businesses . If I had gotten an explanation I would not have posted this review .. but immediately when I asked what happened they blocked my number . I'm so so disappointed in you :( . I wish I had gotten the caterer my sister did for her wedding (I think her name was Renee believe she had worked for the vault and has a solid team and great values ) because she's amazing. I got screwed .

Since my husband and I…read morecook a lot and truly value good food, catering was our top priority and Michi's did not disappoint! We had two tastings, one upon signing the contract and a final one closer to the date where we were able to bring along family and a close friend. They served us full plates of every dish so we even left with plenty of leftovers, which was such a fun bonus for us! Throughout the planning process, they were very easy to communicate with and were highly responsive via email. It was super convenient having them coordinate the table design at their warehouse, including the linens, plateware, and glassware. While the design meeting isn't a "boutique" curated experience, their warehouse has plenty of options to choose from if you already have a general color palette and vibe in mind. On the wedding day, the staff was extremely attentive and brought us hand rolls before cocktail hour even started to ensure we actually got to eat. The live hand roll station was a massive hit with our guests and absolutely delicious. I also appreciated how open they were to our custom cocktails; I provided my own recipe and li hing powder for a pineapple li hing margarita, which they executed perfectly. Cost-wise, this is not a budget vendor and is on the more expensive side. However, the full-service, high-touch planning and day-of experience, from the tastings to the seamless coordination of all design elements, completely justified the price. You truly get what you pay for, and we have no regrets. If food is a top priority for your wedding, we highly recommend Michi's. Their expertise made our day so special, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

The wedding went extremely smooth with Michi's team taking care of table setup, cocktail hour appetizers and stations, as well as full dinner service. They also went out of their way to check in with us and our vendors to make sure we were all well fed. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. We're super happy we went with Michi's catering. Their full package service, which included linens, dinner ware, and setup helped make the decisions more streamlined and intuitive. We highly recommend them to all other couples!

They were wonderful to work with, from start to finish: very responsive to our initial inquiries, pricing was as expected, and the team showed up on time and was ready to serve food on time. While the food eventually arrived, the experience leading up to and during the event was fraught with unnecessary stress. Initial communication was great, but it trailed off as we got closer to the date. Despite their "quick response" phone number, my calls and texts went completely ignored. To make matters worse, the voicemail changed from a personal greeting to a generic one 72 hours before my event, leaving me terrified that we had been scammed. We increased our headcount from 65 to 75 a week prior. After being told this was fine, I was sent an incorrect invoice that ignored the new guest count and asked for a second $300 deposit I had already paid. It took multiple follow-up emails just to get a confirmation on the final numbers. On the day of, the staff arrived promptly and set up on time. However, only 30 minutes into service--with only 30 of our 75 guests fed--they completely ran out of cilantro, onions, and grilled peppers. When I followed up the next day, they claimed they prepared for "70 guests." Even if that were true, it wasn't the 75 we paid for, and it certainly doesn't explain running out of basic toppings after 30 people. I'm incredibly glad we didn't use them for our wedding last year as originally planned. It's disappointing when the service doesn't match the reputation. 2 stars for due prompt service and the guests that got all the food really enjoyed the steak & shrimp.

We worked primarily with Morgan Thomas who was very helpful. We had a backyard wedding, so Feast for a King set up a whole external kitchen outside of the house to prepare all the food. They did a stationary apps table and some tray-passed apps (the ahi mini tacos were a huge hit). The staff also set aside a plate of apps for us during cocktail hour as we were signing our marriage license, which was very thoughtful--since with all the chaos of the wedding we probably wouldn't have eaten anything during cocktail hour otherwise. We were able to provide our own alcohol and select a few signature cocktails, and Feast for a King provided a bartending team to prepare and serve the drinks. We got lots of compliments on the cocktails and the team also was able to set up welcome drinks that were ready for guests before the ceremony. All of their staff on the wedding day were extremely kind and professional (a few wedding guests mentioned this to us specifically). For the main course, we chose two types of paella to be served family-style. The food was fantastic and the family-style service was seamless. They were also able to accommodate all types of dietary restrictions with no issues. We had a ton of leftovers and the staff packaged all of the leftovers up for us after the wedding so we could enjoy it later. They were also able to cut and serve our wedding cake that we got from a local bakery for no extra cost. Lastly, they were also very helpful in providing in-house rentals, and coordinating specialty rentals from a number of different rental companies. We had a wonderful experience with Feast for a King and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else!
