We decided to stop in for lunch while staying at stonewall resort. Kyle was very attentive, polite and friendly. The bistro fries were a great start to our meal--well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We ordered spicy pig sandwiches which had the right amount of spice with ham and bacon jam on sourdough bread. Upscale setting, though the prices aren't bad at all. Casual clothes are fine, but you would look right at home in a suit too. Uses a lot of local ingredients, and you can tell it in things like the salad. For example, the tomato on mine had that flavor that you only get when it was fully ripe when it came off of the vine. And the dressings are home made...and yummy. I had one of the day's specials: chicken/shrimp/andouille jambalaya. Overall, very tasty. But the chicken was driy (suspect overcooked), and the shrimp was tough (suspect overcooked). That's why I didn't give them a four rating. And, sadly, at this time, no liquor license. Ice tea was good, but the right beer with jambalaya...that's what I'm talking about. read more

I'm from Houston we walked in on a Monday and I instantly knew I was underdressed. NOT that the staff or patron made any remarks but this restaurant should have a line out the door every night. The locals have no idea what's under their noses. I ordered the chicken Parmesan. The salad was a nice and green and crisp with blue cheese crumbled and dressing on the side. The breast was juicy and had good flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the marinara was just understated enough to let the chicken be the star of the plate. Few others dining but took a chance-glad we did! Very limited menu, he had Fetticine w/ proscuitti & peas. Excellent! Right amount of cream to cheese ratio, hot & nicely presented. I had the meatloaf w/ garlic mashed. Must say-not your typical greasy fare! Served with amazing wilted spinach-crispy tender, bright green..perfect! Delicious "gravy/sauce" on side! Typical,ho-hum house salad. Appetizer special, bruschetta- nicely done, with pesto & balsamic sauces, but could have been held a bit too long in tomatoes..a bit soggy. We stopped by Weston to stop for the night on the way back to the Philadelphia area. We were looking for a sit down restaurant so we decided to give Thyme Bistro a try as it was the best sounding. We had the Bistro fries to start then we both had the special (sirloin with mashed potatoes and asparagus) which comes with a salad. This was a pleasant find. Steak was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were real potatoes, not boxed. If I am back in the area will definitely be back. We will go out of our way to go there. read more

This is honestly the best food in Weston, however the attitude and service are far inferior to the quality of food. Multiple times I've ordered out and not received my order correctly, only to receive attitude for calling back and requesting they give me what I paid for. This is not on menu changes I just ordered straight from their menu. Also went there for lunch at 230 in afternoon and was turned away because they were closing at 3p. Understand this, I don't care how they run their business, it's theirs to do with as they wish. I'm just saying if the service and quality of attitude not only by the employees but the owner as well was half as good as the food this would be a 4 star joint as it stands .... I thoroughly enjoy dining at the Thyme bistro. It is a nice change versus the normal fast food venues and basic comfort food. The Thyme Bistro has a very unique menu. Today, I enjoyed the salad "Peaches on a Hen." It contains garden greens (no iceberg lettuce), feta cheese, sunflower seeds, peaches and grilled chicken, with a cherry balsamic vinaigrette. It was very satisfying and filling salad. ( Very Large). I would recommend anything in the menu, especially their Bistro Fries. read more

What a gem to find in Weston. I wouldn't have expected to find such a nice restaurant. The Bistro fries are really good. Perfectly fried with the right amount of garlic and cheese. The aioli has a nice smokey flavor. This is the second time my wife and I have eaten here and Dwight is a great waiter. Both times the steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted divine. Our delightful waitperson, Laura, let us know they had a limited menu that night because they were short-staffed front and back. Smart move as it made us prepared for longer waits than we might expect, but they were not that bad. And food was so good, did not care. So here goes: Ambiance: Housed in an old downtown storefront. Warm, inviting, tastefully decorated. Service: Even though under duress b/c of limited help, everyone was pleasant and did not act rushed, even though they were. Our primary server, Laura, was funny and seemed genuinely pleased we were enjoying our experience. Drinks: Decent wines at decent prices. Small but excellent selection of local draft beers, including a top-notch porter. Food: excellent. Tasty focaccia, delicious cream of tomato soup with Italian sausage. Large, entree salad with terrific homemade dressing, really good chicken risotto, finished off with large slice of caramel covered carrot cake that was dense, rich, moist and full of flavor. Didn't feel outsourced. Prices: For what you get, extremely reasonable. You would easily pay 70-100% more for this good a meal in the "big city." Great meal and a great staff. We enjoyed a late lunch and the waitress was fantastically gracious and gave us fantastic service. We enjoyed the bistro fries, the quesadilla, club sandwich, the fried chicken sandwich and the steak hoagie. All were very well prepared and perfectly seasoned. So good that we would have taken pictures- but we all tucked in so fast we never got the chance! Our only criticism of the meal was the salad greens were laced with manky bits that were inedible- this the 4 stars. Visiting the Thyme Bistro last night with a party of 8 was very impressive to say the least. It was my first time dining there, and will not be my last. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly as was our waitress. I was very impressed to see that Weston has one of the finest eating places in the area. Fabulous food was exceptionally good and the reviews from this party of 8 was outstanding. We will be returning to support our local people. We had a lovely dinner at the Thyme Bistro last evening. We enjoyed the goat cheese appetizer and my husband loved the marinara so much he asked for extra marinara to dip his bread in. I had a salmon special that was delicious but the two stars of the dinner were the cream of mushroom soup and the Grilled Chicken and Lemon Thyme Risotto. It was truly amazing. In full disclosure I've heard this place is amazing for dinner; however, we came to Thyme for their lunch, which is a much reduced menu. I highly recommend their Fig and Prosciutto flatbread appetizer. It's a wonderful mix of savory and sweet flavors. We ordered three sandwiches including the steak hoagie, rocket pig, and roast beef. The steak hoagie was just ok, but the waitress also said they ran out of the bread it was supposed to come with. The Rocket Pig was pretty good and the basil + arugula gave it a nice spicy flavor. The roast beef was good but not great. Overall, Thyme gets an OK 3 star review. I'm really looking forward to coming back for the evening dining experience where I've heard there is a much larger menu and the dishes are more complex. read more

Oh my! What a fantastic find! Stopped by on a Saturday for dinner for four. The decor was lovely, a renovated older building with an open fireplace and cozy setting. Saw the crab beignets with chipotle aioli on the appetizer menu and had to try it. Wow! The first savory pastry I have ever tried, and all four of us thought it was uniquely tasty. Three of us had the kettle (soup) of the day, a Southwest chicken - with rice and beans, an excellent choice. The fourth had a salad, comprised of dark greens and a nice looking variety of tpppongs. Two members of our party had the classic burgers and gave it a thumbs up. I had the "Pig Pen " macaroni and cheese - an absolute delight, with bacon and sausage. My husband had the shrimp pasta, and rated it highly - and ate it so quickly I couldn't sneak a bite! Would love to sample my way through their menu, which featured several macaroni and cheese items and unique salads. Next time I am anywhere near Weston at mealtime, I will be stopping by. I'm from California and have been visiting this area for the past 5 decades due to family ties. I can absolutely say this is the best restaurant within a 50 mile radius. The only other restaurant that even comes close is in Sutton and is quite a bit more expensive. The service, quality of food from wine, bread, salad to main course was amazing! Some people have commented that the service is slow, but I disagree. This is a place that you will absolutely savor every morsel. We had a couple of the appetizers which were wonderful including crab cakes in a cage...delish! I had the chicken marsala and my husband had the risotto. We were both very impressed. The ambiance is upscale inside, but you wouldn't know it from the outside. Can't say enough good things about this place. Hope they stick around as this will be my go to place next time I'm in the area. read more

OMG THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! Wife and I had dinner here last night, the service and food were excellent, huge portions and not expensive. As a matter of fact they could cut the portions in half and keep the same prices and it would still be an awesome deal. We ordered the fried goat cheese app, it was yummy. We both got salads, when they bring the salads out you get bread. Not just any bread, but bread that is baked in the restaurant. The bread is soooooooooo good I could have eaten 20 slices of it, but we only ate one basket which had about 6 slices in it. For our main course wife had skillet cheese tortellini which was delicious and I had chicken mushroom risotto which was also delicious. It comes with a piece of chicken breast on top. Not sure what they do the breast but it had an awesome flavor. The breast had some Parmesan on top but I think maybe also inside it too. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Weston!!! BTW, this place is so damn good, we were going to back the next night for dinner, but when I called for reservations, they were closed for a private event. We were highly disappointed that we were turned away for service at your restaurant because we didn't have reservations. At the time we were inside your restaurant there were only a couple of customers seated inside, which left over 80% of the restaurant open for our business. However, the oh so friendly host stated the earliest he could get us seated was 7:30. We had read reviews of your place and were looking forward to trying it out. It was a major let down how we we're treated at your establishment. Apparently, y'all only want a selective group of people. We traveled in from out of town to visit the insane asylum and eat at your restaurant. The host referred us to a BBQ restaurant instead of seated us at your place. The BBQ restaurant was very welcoming and took care of all seven of us. I would think that having customers and taking care of them would be a HIGH priority to your restaurant. I would not recommend Thymes. I would highly recommend the Hickory House where they know how to treat and take care of customers. read more
