Disappointing that my takeout order was completely wrong, but I didn't check the bag until I returned home and noticed that none of the ingredients that I requested were present. I ordered a Large Beef Pho, that costs almost $20 (includes tax), and requested Meatball, Tendon, and Tripe (per the menu that allows you to select up to 3 cuts of meat). Instead, I was only given 2 cuts: steak and brisket, which was not what I asked for. First and last visit from me since the restaurant can't be bothered to provide correct orders. I rate a pho restaurant on how authentically Vietnamese the food is and how the restaurant appears, being a Viet born from Saigon myself. I still ate the pho because I already paid for it, and it was just average at best. The broth was lukewarm, noodles were too al dente for my preference, and the best part of the pho was probably just the steak. When I visited the restaurant, there were several tables filled... but I noticed there was only maybe one Asian customer.. Typically, if you go to a good Asian restaurant, you'll find customers with similar ethnicity dining in, which hints at the quality and authenticity of the food. Their menu also didn't list a special pho or "pho dac biet" compared to other restaurants I've been to, which usually is a combination of listed ingredients, and my go-to so I can taste a bit of everything. Maybe it's their "Combo w/all cuts" but that doesn't tell me what comes with it. The service was nice enough. I was greeted when I arrived and my order was taken correctly, but somehow made incorrectly. I had high hopes for this place, since it's close to the mall and I like the name of the restaurant. But with my order being made incorrectly and the pho tasting average, I'll pass on coming back here again. read more

Update, I haven't been here since 2020 and I'm reviewing again so I dont forget. I was looking forward to eating pho and already had the taste in my mouth, instead I got MSG beef bomb. It didn't have the broth taste of pho but overstated beef broth. Maybe it was just off tonight but we'll see in another 6 years. read more

Ordered from here for the first time. Veggies were fresh and just the right amount of protein. I did add some sriracha for a spicier taste after tasting the broth, which was flavorful but not overpowering which I really like. You're always greeted promptly by a friendly staffer. The lovely decor and comfy furniture are a plus. It always smells good even from the sidewalk! I am on a pretty strict nutritional plan, but the delish spring rolls fall right into place for me. They are whole leaf lettuce, fresh herbs, rice vermicelli noodles and the pork/shrimp (and tofu) are ample. The peanut sauce is exceptional (per my partner, as I am unable to indulge). Meh...it's just ok. My daughter was hungry so we ran in to get take out: Lemongrass Tofu Vermicelli Bowl, tofu fresh rolls, fried green beans and black bubble tea. The good: Lemongrass tofu was tasty. The fried green beans are DELICIOUS. The food service was fast. The bad: The fresh spring rolls veggies were not as good, i can't quite explain what it is, maybe it was the iceberg lettuce. I don't know, but I wasn't feeling their fresh rolls. The serving of veggies for the vermicelli bowl wasn't as abundant as other local places we like to go to. And lastly, we ordered bubble tea and when we got it, it was blended with no boba. When I asked about why there was no boba in their bubble tea, the clerk just looked at me and said "oh, you wanted boba?" I told him yes, but he said it was too late, so yeah, it was a slushy tea I spent $5+ dollars on (not thrilled). Plus, the bubble tea was probably made from a mix too.
