Had great customer service today from Phil in the Jeep service department! He was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, & very detailed. I was very appreciative of how he explained what was going on with my Jeep, the cost and how to get it fixed. Good customer service is hard to find these days, but Phil has exceptional customer service! Thanks Phil! read more

Costumer service, specifically from the Service Manager for Jeep doesnt exist here!! Go somewhere else!!!

They told me my repair would be done by noon and it's 4:15 and it's still not done. Been waiting for over 4 hours. Not acceptable after having my car for 3 full days to fix it!! Worst repair place! They also put a bandaid on a blown engine that my other shop said it was blown when they tried the bandaid it. Been nothing but problems with this dealer for the past 1.5 years of issues with my jeep. read more

$220 to install a headlight quoted $50 for the light then charged $100 for it like they didn't know the price of the part beforr they sold it. This place of a joke that's into ripping people off read more

I brought in my pickup with an extended warranty ...This dealership is too cheap to pay for a rental..I NEED TO SUBMIT MY RENTAL PAPERWORK TO MY MOPAR WARRANTY MY SELF..you buy a $50k pickup and you continue to get petty stuff like this..bet if I go to Santa Rosa I would get better service/results.. read more

I made an appointment for an oil change for 10:30 and dropped my car off. The counter guy tried to up sale me on a 30,000 mile service with a list of fantasy items like "frigi-fresh sanitation " for $2000. The Mopar recommendation says to check the CV joints and change the air filter at 30000 miles. What a joke. Then when I return two hours later I discover that they haven't even touched my car. The counter guy says I never told them when I needed the car so they did not prioritize it. I made a 10:30 appointment! I assumed the appointment meant that's when they work on the car. That's the way it's been every other time I've taken my vehicle's to Thurston for service. I've never told them what time I need my car. I took my car without them touching it and called a manager. He apologized without being apologetic, saying that's how the system works. I asked what the point of maki g an appointment and he said that just means that you are getting in line for an unknown completion time. RIDICULOUS. I told him I live I Willits and drove down just for the service appointment and that I would not be back. I have dealt with both Thurston Honda and Toyota for over 20 years and never had this issue. He did offer to pay for my oil change if I came back. I asked if I should drop my vehicle off at 8 and expect it at 5? I told him they will not be seeing me again. Look at these reviews and notice that there is not one response from Thurston. They don't give a shit! read more

Wow ... I wish I had these review's BEFORE committing to having them repair my car. Dropped it off yesterday early, at the APPOINTMENT time. Have heard nothing since. Rented a car. Added expense. Unresponsive, and not respectful of customers time. read more

Super scandalous service department if you were ever thinking about going here just don't even if it's under warranty just don't you regret wasting your time and they will try and find a way to charge you for stuff that should be covered under warranty read more

If I could give them no stars I would! I've had nothing but bad experiences with the service department. I wish we had more options for warranty work in this area. I needed my radio replaced. I was told that they would order it and get back to me when it came in. I called several weeks later only to have them tell me they never ordered it! It took several more weeks to get the part and about 2 months later it was finally fixed. It shouldn't take that long for a simple fix. Today I had another horrible experience with their service department. They told me they found nothing wrong with my vehicle and that it's the kind of transmission I have that makes it jolt/slip when I go uphill. I'm not buying it. I'm getting another opinion from someone who is actually competent. I'm thinking next time I'll drive to Eureka or Fort Bragg for service. I would rather go to the DMV than this place.... read more

No customer service integrity at all. Timely with the needed parts...No. complete all work on the day scheduled...No. Calls keeping you informed...Not once. Loaner vehicle when they inconvenience you when behind schedule...Not even. Check your fluids, etc, as a courtesy...Hah. These guys stink, buy a Lexus. read more

At all costs do not buy a car here. This is how they inspect and/or fix batteries. Yes, that is a wood clamp, I know perfect for an engine compartment, but obviously my car won't start now. Of course wasn't them, and negligence is not covered by warranty.... You have been warned. Or at least take to two other people you trust that don't use or leavewood clamps on a battery. Maybe this is the new way to fix electrical auto batteries now. I am old I guess. read more

Terrible experience! Left the sales office after a 20 minute conversation about the numbers. They get you in the door with the internet price, then jack up the price at the time your ready to "negotiate". We told they guy what we were willing to pay, out-the-door. He completely ignored us! We bought the truck we wanted at CarMax in Santa Rosa. read more

Eric H. and Daniel S. were amazing to work with and were instrumental in our purchase this past month. They answered all our questions and weren't pushy at all during the sale. The only bad experience was the Manager Juan. He didn't come to say hello at all during the process and when we had questions he was too "busy" to answer them. He walked by and I called him out on his error and instead of coming and speaking with us, he walked away on his phone. Highly recommend Daniel or Eric but avoid Juan if possible. read more

This review is for the service department. I don't usually write reviews at all, but I'm writing to say that if you find options, go somewhere else. I have a fairly new Jeep so I thought it would be best to take it to the only Dealer nearby. I called ahead and asked if I needed an appointment. I was advised to just drop it off early and and write up a tag telling them what I need. A simple oil change and tire rotation. It usually is handled same day. The day before I dropped it off, a noise started coming from the front wheel. I also asked them to check that out on the tag when I dropped it off. I'm used to same day turn around there. I get no call the first day. The second day I try to call and can't get through to anyone. I just am kept on hold. The third day I am told that I need a new wheel bearing and they would have to order it. I am also told that the brakes need to be done soon. I told them I can't do the brakes now and to order the wheel parts. I am told they will be there by day seven. Day seven I go in to the shop because I can't get anyone on the phone and no one is returning my calls. They say the part is not in and it will be until day 14 or 15 until they receive it. During the conversation it slipped that they never ordered it originally and just did that day. Day nine I go in again, because I can't get anyone on the phone. I wanted to just quit while I was ahead and ask for my vehicle. They said they can't cancel the order for parts because they are in transit. They ordered the brake parts too even though I told them I didn't want to do the work. They tried to make me pay for the parts. I refused. They charge me $115 to diagnose a bad wheel bearing. They even forgot to rotate my tires! The wheel work would have been covered by aftermarket insurance I bought. They told me this whole time they couldn't get a hold of anyone at the insurance company to confirm. I brought my vehicle to a shop down the street and they confirmed the insurance while I waited. The other shop had the parts next day. No problems whatsoever. Even though I am geographically stuck with these guys, I will not go back. To think I almost bought a new vehicle from them scares me. read more

Their service dept. is terrible. My daughter called to get the scrape plate or underbelly pan of her Dodge Dart replaced because it had ripped off and was hanging so low it scraped the ground. We had had it replaced previously at another dealership's service dept., but because her car was a Dodge, we thought that Dodge was more accustomed to these vehicles, so we went to their service dept. this time. They ordered the part, but when we got the car back found out it was not replaced and was still scraping. I took the car back and the guy at the Service dept. said essentially that there are two pieces - a front piece and the belly pan - and only the belly pan was ordered so that's the only part that was replaced. The other dealership had replaced the entire thing when we ordered the scrape plate. Why the hell did they only order the belly pan and not the front piece which is attached? Because they're incompetent that's why. Not only that, when they hoisted the car up, they could see that the piece was broken. Not only did he not fix it, he didn't tell us it wasn't fixed and that the piece needed to be ordered. Basically, he said NOTHING. Furthermore, the service guy basically blamed the Parts Department for the problem and said that they only put in what the Parts guy ordered, then he tried to blame my daughter and said she only ordered the one part and not the other. She ordered the same thing at the other dealer's service dept., and got the whole piece. When I confronted him on that, he blamed the tech. guy for not mentioning the issue. Then he tried to take credit and say he didn't charge me the installation me because "he was being nice". Who is he kidding? He's not being nice...he's covering up his extreme lack of professionalism and incompetence. Wish I caught his name, then I can put it in this review. DO NOT GO TO THURSTON FOR REPAIRS...bottom line! read more

I've purchased two vehicles from Thurston in the past but was sorely disappointed in trying to purchase a third. They told us they spent more money on the van we wanted than it was worth, so they had to over charge us and couldn't bring the price down. So either Thurston believes we're all idiots and will believe that lie or they have the worst business sense. No one does that. We believe in buying local, but not from these crooks. read more
