They had a special for $15.99 per person you could bowl for two hours. This bowling alley was pretty clean and so were the bowling shoes. I had fun and o would come back to visit this bowling alley again.

This was a treat! I did a google/yelp search of bowling alley's in the area and choose Thunderbird as it was really close .This bowling alley brought back childhood memories. I appreciated the outdated decor and bowling alley smell. (seriously this was a plus for me) I took my bf here on a sunday afternoon as apart of his birthday weekend and we had a great time. We opted to bowl for two hours and we managed it get in 5 games ! It was a very good deal. I paid around $30. We only grabbed a soft pretzel to snack on as we were going to dinner but the menu prices seemed reasonable. There were a few kids birthday parties finishing up when we arrived otherwise the place was pretty empty. My only negative is the restroom needed some serious TLC. We'd come back.

Quite empty on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:30. I assume they get a younger crowd that works and comes later (we are retired). The happy hour menu impressed us. Speciality cocktails normally $15-ish were only $9. That got our attention. Plus $5 appetizers. Never see lemon drop martini, manhattan and expresso martinis on happy hour afterall. And those were our picks (3 of us). We were celebrating Mom's 93 birthday. For the $5. appetizers we picked pork spring rolls, potato chip nachos, and mozzarella sticks. The chips were the winner. BUT "never" get the spring rolls. Two very disappointing , tiny spring rolls that had a microscopic amount of pork. It was pathetic. Not even worth it for $5. I would stay away from those. Silly only two on the plate and there were 3 of us. Too small to share. Our server was efficent and sweet. She added to a nice happy hour. We enjoyed playing a few rounds of table shuffle board. Nice addition. The best part of our happy hour was a friendly couple (we just met them) at the bar surprised us and paid for a round of drinks since they heard it was my Mom's 93 birthday!! That surely made her day extra special and memorable.

What a great find! I was a little unsure at first since I'm not really into bar-type places, but…read morethis spot completely exceeded my expectations. The bank rolls, dry rub wings, and whiskey wings were absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. My husband ordered the beef taco special (2 for $5--such a steal!) and liked them, but couldn't stop reaching for my appetizers. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Alright, listen up--I've eaten a lot of roast pork sandwiches in my time. South Philly? Been there…read more The Jersey joints? Crushed 'em. Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. Thank me later.
