Smaller inside than expected but we had fun. Nothing special, a normal bowling alley.

We had level three and the bar staff as a whole was fantastic! The bowling was fun. The band and music was jamming! The lane staff kept up with all the changes of names. The bar keeps had buckets of beverages a plenty. I was on full all night. The kitchen crushed it. Food was tasty. I definitely will return when In Philly again. Keep up the amazing work... Kudos to all staff! I'm glad I won a hat!!! #ThunderUp Respectfully, Bryan Oklahoma City

Ok, being the former GM, this will be a review based on a lot of insider information. I will say…read morenow, steer clear of this disaster. A few pics will be attached and it doesn't come close to showing just how bad this place is. Very unsanitary. Take your chances at the bar as there is bacteria all over the place. I was only in the location for 3 months which felt like an eternity. Zero leadership from above me. Only cared about 'upselling' and clearly don't care how dirty the place is. A staff that dictates how little work they will do as when I tried to implement change, they would just go to HR to complain and HR (and my boss/Ben who was the worst person I've ever worked for), would side with them. Just terrible. As bad as the staff was and complete lack of structure, check out the posted reviews and I can tell you they are ALL ACCURATE. If you've been there, you'll agree. Let's get into the location condition. -Holes in all the couches and on the last lanes, have become a home to mice. -Mold in the ice bin at the bar -bar is dirty and had bacteria all over it -90% of the bottles are sticky -shoes are falling apart -bathrooms have hard water stains, stalls are never sanitized, just plain gross -classes at bar are stacked once washed without allowing them to dry. This creates mold/bacteria. I'm shocked no one has gotten sick. Look, I come from a heavy f&b background. So, I say this from experience. The only thing worth while in this place is the food. Great leadership in the kitchen. Happy they didn't allow the front of the house to affect their standards. Which shows you the issue was the managers there. Disgraceful that the upper management (who have offices in the location) allowed poor managers to destroy this place. I'm the third GM to come in and I believe the longest one stayed was 6 months. At the most. Nothing I tried/changes were supported. Asst who had been there is very friendly with the DM (Ben). She has no clue how to run a building. And the conditions shows it as all of this happened in her watch. I find it very curious that the DM didn't do anything to change how it was being run. I could go on about the issues in place which every GM who comes in will face. No chance of fixing that place while the current upper management is in place and, the current management team doesn't hold anyone accountable. Inmates are running the prison. If you do decide to go there or, are part of a party, just bring your ins cards in case you end up in the ER. I'd also recommend sanitizer and d-con traps. Pics are just a behind the scenes look. There are 1000's more issues.

Alcohol prices are a bit steep, but that's to be expected of any music venue I guess. Pretty cool watching live bands right next to a working bowling alley. I initially had a photo of my valid driver's license, but when that wasn't accepted, I went back home (about 15 minutes away) to get another form of ID. Before doing that, I called the venue to make sure I brought something acceptable. I was told that a birth certificate would be fine as long as it showed my date of birth. Trusting that information, I rushed back with it so I wouldn't miss the show. When I returned, security told me it was not acceptable. Trying to resolve the situation, I called the venue again while I was there, and the person who answered told me they had not spoken to me and that a birth certificate is not accepted. When I asked if they could check or connect me with the person I had spoken to earlier, I was told no. At that point, there was nothing else I could do, and I ended up missing the event entirely despite making multiple good-faith efforts to comply. I also want to note that I did have other forms of ID I could have looked for, like my passport, but I relied on the information I was given over the phone and acted on that. To make things feel even more inconsistent, someone I was with who got inside told me a 16-year-old was able to enter, and I later saw a related post on TikTok. I can't personally verify that, but it added to the overall sense of unfairness. Overall, this felt like a serious breakdown in communication that cost me time, money, and the experience I paid for. I hope the venue can improve how staff communicate with guests so others don't go through something similar.

Our visit started with a nice greeting and excellent communication from managers Yady and Arturo, and continued with professional and efficient service from bowling shoe attendants Marco and Lynna, bartender Jackie and server Olivia. The students loved the mac and cheese and sliders of course, but nothing was better than the chicken nuggets! Being located upstairs and off by ourselves was aHUGE help in keeping them all ion one place with no interaction with the other, older visitors downstairs, so thanks for that! Finally, I would like to note as we prepared to leave I saw Manager Arturo dash past our group and out the front door and I figured maybe his car was being ticketed....only to find out he had run ahead of us to help the students cross the intersection of Swanson Street and Oregon Avenue. It's things like this that endear me to a tour venue!

However the food is NOT worth a dime. I'm a foodie so that's important to me. My sister and I took my brother here for his bday and we spent over $300, how do you even spend that while bowling? I ordered two orders of the wings, two pizzas which taste like cardboard and an order of chicken tenders and tatter tots, it was like 9 tots, along with drinks(4 sodas) only three adult beverages...$268 like how???? Our server kept forgetting stuff like naps and straws, at one point I actually went to the bar to get napkins because I didn't want to feel like I was bothering her. Would I go back, of course, just don't eat anything from there unless you are desperate. Very clean and spacious. I will recommend if you go with a large group reserve two lanes.

Lanes were not cheap and are very limited because more than 75% of the lanes are being repaired. They were even working on them on a Saturday night which was a little distractive while trying to focus on getting your ball down the lane. The lanes were unique and that the pins odd strings on them and that's how the pins were reset. My least favorite thing about the bowling alley was that when the balls were returned, they came at a high speed and if your fingers were in the wrong place or you were trying to get a ball at that time, you could really injure your fingers getting them pinched between balls. I included a video of how quickly the ball sneaks up and how concerning this would be especially if a child was playing. During our game, we ordered food and non alcoholic drink drinks from the bar. This is a BYOB so you can bring whatever you want to drink and they do have some mixers that you can buy if you don't bring your own. The food didn't get great reviews. There was one bartender and unfortunately she wasn't there about 50% of the time. There were often periods of time no one was behind the bar for periods long enough that I had to return for my turn to bowl. The video games are expensive. I bought a $20 card and was shocked to see how quickly it ran through. I personally didn't opt for the glow mini mini golf but that did look fun. My favorite activity was the bumper cars. Be warned, some of them do fully invert! I feel like Dave and Busters at Franklin Mills provides a better bowling arcade interaction and has better food and bar services. This place really felt designed to cater to children rather than adults and children. I didn't have a bad time but I would probably not return to this location.
