Then I found this Yelp page. We reached out to Mr Hoop to discuss the negative reviews and he gave us an explanation and a reassurance. Mr Hoop came to scout the site, on time. He started the project on time (with a legitimate rain delay). A few days later, he came and installed the hoop. All in, the process took ten days. As far as the negative reviews about Mr Hoop go, in my opinion, there are always two sides to every story. We took the approach of being up front with our concerns, kept communication open, and achieved a positive result.

Paid $30 for wachusett to tighten them, and they assure us that this was an issue with the rental company. Alarmingly, the same thing happened in my sister's family - they rented skis for the family, and my niece's bindings were dangerously loose. Also, they didn't have my husband's boot size when we went for rentals, and the ski poles they rented us are very short. (Husband is a size 13, so not the most common size, admittedly. And we are 5'9 and 6'3, so definitely need tall poles... but stillll....)
