By far the BEST adventure vacation experience I've had. This was so much fun and our guide Tom was the absolute best! He took us to a bunch of cool spots. Took great pics. And was very helping and patient with us. It was our first time on a snowmobile so we fell a couple of times and he never got tired helping us get back up. They also have hot chocolate and coffee in their station so you can get warm before and after. Everyone who helped us was super nice. There was a snow storm a couple of days before so due to closed roads we were almost an hour and half late and when we realized we weren't going to make it on time we called and they nicely moved our time with no issue. I couldn't recommend this place more. Make sure you ask for Tom and tip your tour guide at the end! read more

First time snowmobiler and had an amazing experience all around. Booked for 12/30/2024. I booked this experience months ago and reached out to them worried about there being enough snow for the experience. They reassured me there would be snow and they were right! Being born and raised in Florida, I have limited snow experience and no snowmobiling experience whatsoever. My son also had no experience and we booked the 3 hour tour- 3 snowmobiles. One for each of us. 1pm tour. We arrived a tad early to get our gear- snow pants and boots. I had fleece lined hiking pants I got off Amazon I had been wearing for my National park hikes I feel I could have used those, but I had already paid for the rentals so I went with the pants and boots. Helmets are provided. I would buy a balaclava or something to cover your neck and face. We did and they were fantastic. I ended up using that to cover my lower face and the shield from the helmet and it was perfect. I wore layers and wasn't cold at all. Orientation was quick and easy and I was worried about me and my son's ability due to our inexperience. We caught on quickly and I was soon standing during the ride. I found it easier to stand than sit on the snowmobile! We visited several lookout points and the guide, Tom, took photos for me at every opportunity. He was super informative and answered all my questions. We had a bathroom break too! This was by far the best experience I have ever had and I am currently searching Zillow and Realtor to find homes so I can buy something in an area with snow so I can have a snowmobile. My son did "crash" his snowmobile while turning a corner but he was fine and so was the snowmobile. As long as you follow instructions and enjoy the ride you will have an unforgettable experience! Thunder Mountain Motorsports is an amazing tour company and should be a must on your to do list when you're visiting Brianhead. TMM offers snowmobiling tours that range from 1.5 hours to 3 hours long and they take you all over the must see scenic spots in Brianhead. Our group decided to do the 1.5 hour tour and we absolutely enjoyed every minute of our experience. Our tour guide Tavid was very thorough and walked us through the safe handling of our individual snowmobiles before taking us out on the tour. He was professional and a fun guide that lead our group on a great winter adventure through Brianhead. Honestly I can stress enough how fun this tour was. Would recommend for every person who wants to do something adventurous and outdoors. It's family friendly too and children can ride on the two seat snowmobiles with their parents for a small extra fee. They have helmets and all the gear you need to that'll make you warm and ready for your winter excursion. First time driving a snowmobile & we loved it! My husband & I chose the 1.5hr tour. Our tour guide was great, we had so much fun & the prices are super affordable. It was $105 per machine, $20 for the passenger, so a total of $125 for the both of us. We stopped many times to wait for others to catch up, which gave us many chances to switch places so we both can drive. We also made a few stops to take pictures. I would definitely do this tour again the next time we're in Brian head. They have plenty of parking & offer complimentary coffee & hot cocoa after the tour. They have clean restrooms in the building where you check-in. They provide helmets with face shields to help block the wind. Make sure you wear sunglasses to help block the sun from your eyes & wear gloves to help keep your hands warm. The snow mobiles have adjustable heated hand bars, but the gloves will help keep the top of your hands warm. We did the last tour at 3p, it felt warm the first half of the tour but when the sunset, it felt colder the 2nd half of the tour. I highly recommend this place, the snow mobiles were easy to drive & it was so much fun! read more

This place is super amazing. Let me start with a personal advice. To whomever this may concern, if you are an experienced motorcycle rider, please do not look at these snowmobiles as a motorcycle. I came here for my 33rd birthday and I've been riding since I was 22 and currently ride a Ninja ZX6R and these snowmobiles Just didn't come naturally and intuitively for me. My wife however who has no experience riding a motorcycle or snowmobile was riding this so naturally and it was honestly amazing riding passenger and watching her enjoy it so much. We did the 1.5 hours 1 driver 1 passenger option and just riding through the open snow field and through the trees and coming out of the trees to see some of the most beautiful snow capped mountains was worth every dollar. The business itself has such an amazing staff who are just super friendly and understanding. They are fully equipped with gear from head to toe if you do not have any with additional charge to your reservation which surprisingly is a very reasonable price for the optional gear. Helmets come free and they have a lot of helmets to fit everyone. Bathrooms are also super clean. Parking can get really muddy and wet so just prepare for that for when leaving and getting back in your vehicle. read more

My husband and I wanted to come here and we finally made it happen! This was our first time riding a snowmobile! We parked in the open parking lot and went inside to check in. The ladies at the front register was very helpful. They signed us in and gave us a waiver to sign. Afterwards, we went to the back where we were given helmets. We made our way outside to meet our tour guide. Tom was our tour guide and there was just a total 3 of us: me, my husband and Tom on the tour. Tom was friendly and helpful but at times a little bit pushy. He told us to pick up the speed a few times... which we didn't like since this was our first time on a snowmobile and we wanted to keep safe and get to know how to maneuver it first before giving it some speed. I mean, eventually we got the hang of it. My husband got stuck in one section of the open field because the snow was too deep. Tom was able to help him out. Thank goodness for that! We were headed to the last peak and was told by Tom that it was nicest view... but we weren't able to make it. Tom got stuck and we all needed to help and try get the snowmobile out... but unfortunately we couldn't. It was too deep in the snow. It was toward the end of our tour, so instead of going to the last peak we had to go back to the shop and return the snowmobiles. I really wish we were able to see the last peak because I've seen photos on Yelp of it and it looked so beautiful, but it's okay as long as we were all safe and back in one piece. When we got back to the shop, we returned the helmets and they offered us hot cocoa. Overall, the views were soooo beautiful! It was like a winter wonderland! I definitely would be back here again! From start to finish it was awesome working with Thunder Mountain. Booking as well as check in upon arrival was super easy and straightforward. Randell, our guide, was very informative, telling us everything we needed to know. My family and I decided to rent 2 snow mobile rentals for a 1.5 hours guided tour. While they all paired up, I rode with the tour guide himself for an additional fee of $20. Our tour guide's name was Jameson. He was really friendly and informative. For our tour, we rode through path ways in the trees then were met with a beautiful and vast open field. We had the chance to ride around, practice turns, and do as we please. I got to safely play around with the speed of the snow mobile. We then got to go back on the nature trails. There was a beautiful scenic overlook that we had the chance to take pictures and videos at with a 270 view of different mountains, canyons, and slopes. Super gorgeous! Highly recommend! read more

We were visiting from Washington and Vegas and booked the 3-hour tour to celebrate my nephew's birthday. We were so excited to do this as a family and booked 5 snow mobiles. We checked in by noon since our tour was starting at 1:00 pm. When 1 o'clock came around, we wondered why the people after us was starting their tour before us. I went in to ask what's going on and I was told by the front office agent, Zoe, that our tour guide will look for us. Our tour guide, Reed finally called us about 30 minutes later. He apologized profusely and explained that the tour he just finished, had lost their phone. We are easy going people and understand that things happen. Reed explained the do's and don't of operating the snow mobile and we all understood it. We finally took off for our tour and loved it! The trails and scenery was breathtaking. In my mind, I would love to do the tour again if we ever visit Utah in the future. The snow was very powdery since there was a snow storm a couple of days prior, so it was very "slippery" About 30 minutes into our tour, we were on the trails and I heard a scream, I turned back to see my nephew running from his snowmobile. I already knew something bad happened. Reed, our tour guide, immediately told us to turn around and go to their location. Sure enough, I saw my daughter laying in the snow against a tree in excruciating pain and struggling to breathe. My nephew was supporting her and giving her oxygen with the portable cans that he bought. Reed then called the office to report the incident and to have medics come out. We were so thankful for all the help we got, but waiting there for over two hours was nerve wrecking and to be honest, horrifying. I'm grateful for all the assistance we got while waiting for the paramedic to come to the scene. They eventually got my daughter out on a sled and the EMT, Patrick made us feel more relieved and comfortable and knew he would take great care of my daughter. 30 minutes after my daughter left in the ambulance, my niece got a call from Kelly, stating the cost of the damages on the snowmobile that was part of the accident. He had no empathy or concern of how my daughter was doing, but was concerned and adamant of getting payment for $960 . Never supplied a invoice for the damages so just went off from what he stated. We asked to get a discount since we only was 30 minutes into our 3-hour tour. They was not compassionate at all and denied our request for a discount. However, he did offer a certificate to go back later for a one hour and thirty minutes tour. I highly doubt it we will be returning soon so that will go out the door. All we wanted to get was some consideration from Kelly or Kim about our daughter's condition. We got no call to see how she was doing except from our tour guide, Reed. He stopped by Cedar City Hospital to check on our daughter and brought her a Calla Lily plant. Now that is a true person who's concerned and considerate. Because of Reed's actions, we will probably still refer people to go on a tour and would have given a 5-star review. read more

Wow! I'm not much for snowmobiling, but the rest of my family was intent on doing this. We did the 1 1/2 hour tour and frankly we should've done the three. Our guide Reed, was exceptional. He made sure that everyone was 100% safe but also gave us plenty of opportunity to rip through the snow and have a blast. The trails are so scenic and absolutely picturesque. If you were even considering doing a tour from this company, I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed. The whole adventure felt like something out of a Hallmark movie as far as scenery. Took a tour with this company in February. They were really great with customer service- they provide coffee, tea and hot chocolate. They also, provide helmets and the snowmobiles. You walk through like a car rental ahead of time to see if there are any scratches Etc. They teach you how to use the snowmobile. Then they take you ok some trails as well as an open field area where you can go faster. I was afraid to go faster on the trails for fear of flipping. There used to be another company brianhead motorsports but we found that they have since closed down. Would have like the option to go around by myself versus taking a tour. That was the only thing I didn't like about the tour. Would have like self guided option. read more

We were really excited to go snowmobiling for the first time as a family and read the reviews that it was safe and enjoyable. Our guide was Samantha and she was inexperienced and reckless on safety. She encouraged me to go faster knowing that it was all my first time. She gave me no choice but to continue the tour when I was nervous about everything. My snowmobile flipped trying to catch up to her with my daughter. I ended up in the ER with a torn ACL and knee injury that is awaiting surgery. They charged us for a tour that was only 45 minutes and have not checked on us. I've been off work for a month and am on extended leave for probably many more months. This will affect my life and family lives forever. I regret using this company and getting on a snowmobile with such an inexperienced guide. Snowmobile at your own risk. read more
