We got a good vibe from Juan and also went and talked to two owners that RMZ did work for and they both had nothing but good things to say about their work. What impressed us the most was their solution to a pour they did on our side yard. There were two small AC units from a recently completed ADU sitting on plastic platforms that were sitting on grass/dirt. We wanted a concrete pad to replace the grass. All the contactors said they could place forms around the AC units and pour around them. We expressed our concerns about the look and viability of leaving the units sitting on the plastic platforms and dirt. The other contractors said all they could do is frame and pour around them or we could have an electrician come and move them for the pour and then have the put back after the pour. Sounded expensive. Juan and his crew came up with an great plan to suspend the units and pour the concrete under them. Problem solved! We loved that they heard our concerns and came up with a solution. Also the work on the driveway was quick, clean and came out great.

After a bad experience with a previous contractor where a 1-month bathroom remodel turned into a half-year remodel, I expected it would take Armando and his team at least 1 month. I was incorrect and blown away by their ability to stick to the schedule extremely well. We received a quote up front and the contractor stuck to it. Each day, the workers showed up on time and cleaned up any mess each afterwards. Armando takes pride in his work and wants his customers to be able to show off a finely remodeled "piece of art" when he is complete. His attention to detail is unparalleled regarding the workmanship of the tile, the functionality of the remodel, and anything the customer can think of in between. A skilled and honest contractor can be hard to find, but this excellent experience was a burden off of my chest and was worth writing this review to share to others. The pictures attached show the progress of the bathroom at the end of each day. Some days have progress on plumbing or dry rot that isn't as visible, but over a 2 week span, it is important and incredible to show how smooth a remodel can and should go.

I DEFINITELY CANNOT RECOMMEND PREMIER BUILDERS TO ANYONE! THIS HAS TO BE THE MOST UNPLEASANT AND…read moreHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD DEALING WITH A BUSINESS/OWNER. TLDR: I signed a contract for a project. Owner requested a deposit that was well above the max limit (10% of project cost or $1000, whichever is the least). I provided a deposit not knowing any of this. I terminated the agreement well before the owner and company set foot on my property. I repeat, NO WORK WAS ACTUALLY DONE! I requested a full refund based on agreements made through emails. Owner can't be bothered and hardly responds unless you escalate things to BBB, CSLB, or through Bond Insurance Claims. AND here we are today... On paper (yelp profile and company website) the owner is all lip service: "Built with integrity, high standards - 100 percent satisfaction guaranteed!" GTFOH with that! When he isn't busy posting personal IG stories of him getting surgery, covid, meal preps, or OOTD on his company's IG account, then he'll make some effort to mansplain how customer service works and how his non-registered salesman is providing me an education lesson of some sort. The owner really wanted me to believe he was also charging me for DESIGN WORK! TF, really? I provided my own illustration and design with my own design software. I provided annotations and inspo images to the non-registered salesman. The project was based off of my actual design work that I provided. AND you're going to say you provided me with a design? If anything, it was collaborative where I provided a design and ideas and your team fetched and updated quotes, BUT oh yah, you guys are the educators. Bruh, like I get that it's an inconvenience to you that I'm actually doing my own homework comparing apples to apples and oranges to oranges. I get that less questions are better for you. Say less, right? All I'm trying to say is, if you want to charge me for "customer service" and "education lessons", state it upfront in your contract and not after everything is signed. No one on your side has bothered to explain or include verbiage in the agreement in regards to: - Missing notice regarding the CSLB - Missing notice of 3-5 Day Right to Cancel (or any cancellation for that matter) - Missing notice regarding general liability insurance. - Exceeding downpayment of $1,000 or 10% of project, whichever is least To all the potential clients or any consumers for that matter, be sure to DYOR! IMHO, you can DYOR at any stage of the process. Make sure to document, document, document!!! Keep records of everything. Create a timeline of events when planning a project with any company. You, as a consumer, have the right to question anything and have the right to keep other options open, unless stated in contract. If they have the right to refuse service, then you should have the right to terminate an agreement if no cancellation policy is explained or written in the contract. Good Riddance!

It was shared fence with two other neighbors and they agreed to share in the cost. I asked four different Companies to bid on a new cinder block wall. In the end only two Companies provided quotes. The project consisted of demo an existing wood fence and build a 219 linear feet cinder block wall with Orco split face blocks. The National Concrete team for my project was 3 highly skilled and very efficient craftsmen. I was amazed at the fast pace of the work for only three guys. They did not take short cuts. The crew worked straight through on the job. In the end it took four weeks to complete the fence including all city inspections. I think the work quality was top notch. Brian La Fuente and the guys at National Concrete were reliable and a pleasure to work with. Brian and the crew were always respectful and very responsive to my requests during the project. Brian was ~7 mins earlier waiting in his pickup truck when we met onsite for the first time. He was polite, professional, and he listened very carefully. He got back to me by EOD first day we met whether my original plan needs a city permit or not, as well as all the additional expenses and the timeline. I interviewed 3 other contractors for the same project before Brian. All of them gave wishy washy answers when I asked about permit. Brian was the only one who provided me clear and professional answer to this question. I knew I would work with this gentleman at that very moment. As to time management, Brian was also great. He started working on the project on the exact day he promised, and finished it as scheduled as well. When there was any change, he would keep me posted without me having to ask anything. I appreciate this very much, as I waited for months beyond the original start date with another contractor who seems popular on Yelp, yet ended up being told to find someone else cuz he was too busy. Several months were wasted and everything got more expensive at that point. Brian is very responsive and thorough. He has very high standards for himself as well as the team. Whenever you raise a concern, he'll deal with it instantly and deliver results. He really means it when he says he wants everything perfect. You can tell he really enjoy doing what he's been doing and is very good at it. We got so much compliment from neighbors when the project is completed.
