Great little spot for a sandwich and a brew. Huge brewery can't go wrong. Awesome little gem hidden off Port Austin rd. Only down fault is that they don't have fries. Would of made lunch that much better. I think they do need to do marketing though. If they had fries I would have given it a 4 star. read more

Hostess/busser is a joke. Place is not busy, but she continues to pile up a line down the street because she is afraid of customer service and would rather clean tables. She is half ass cleaning these tables while this takes place. She then seats the table next to us and they ask for the WiFi password and instead of "let me find it for you" she tells them "there is one but I don't know it." She clearly has zero systems in place with her servers because the servers go table by table and ask "have you been helped yet?" Instead of "what can I get you?" I believe the owners wife was helping bus tables but she gave up, and I am 98% sure the owner passed through but he couldn't run away and disappear fast enough. The beer they brew here has improved. The guest taps are legit. The systems and service are still mediocre at best. Get it right owners, you're missing out on a gold mine. #CraftBeerIsKing read more

In search for a new place to eat in Caseville other than burgers or fish sandwiches. Thumb Brewery offers delicious flatbread pizza - I had the Margherita and the husband had Pepperoni. Thin crust, perfect amount of toppings. Oh, and if I get to post a photo it will be of an empty pizza pan because I ATE IT ALL. Home brew excellent - Thumb Brewery Amber Lager. Similar to Cheboygan Lighthouse Amber but a bit lighter. Or, if you've ever had a Czech beer called Kozel, either of the above are like its summer sister. We'll definitely be back. read more

Good vibe outside on the patio, but this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks that I've been here and had terrible service. Expect slow and long time if you plan to eat. We ordered chips and Salsa and requested it to be out before our food. We asked for it twice and the waitress said she was waiting for the kitchen. Our chips and salsa came out after our food and we were done eating. We also asked for ketchup and that came out after we were done eating. Each time I've been here, it's been slow service. However the food is decent as long as it's not cold when you get it. Beer is good. The owners should consider getting more staff, I heard other tables complaining about the service as well. read more

This place is by far the worst micro brewery in michigan. Over priced and the food tastes all precooked. When we asked the young lady about the lasagna she said it's a Gordon food brand. For that price I will make my own home made. Than she said they have to serve precooked burgers because they are not equipped to cook fresh. This here is a big loss to them. I will recommend going elsewhere. These people just want to make a buck and the waitress was on her phone sitting at the bar. I waited for a refill very poor service. Cheeseburger weekend and we find a brewery! Awesome we love craft beer. It was busy and we knew it would be. But it didn't take long at all for a table. We had four people in our party and we ordered drinks as soon as we sat down along with a appetizer. We got the buffalo chicken dip which was pretty good. Nothing to write home about but still good. It took about 30 min for the app to get to our table. As soon as the app arrived we ordered chicken ranch wraps. At this time it wasn't super busy I would say that about half of the tables on the patio were empty. But it still took a hour and 30min for our wraps to arrive! You would think that with all that staff standing around it would of not taken so long. Maybe the kitchen doesn't have the room to handle that many tables? Either way the service was not good at all. We were sat with no menus or silverware. Hats off to the older lady that was the hostess, I know you were trying! read more

4 of us had dinner there on a Wednesday night. Menu was a cut well above usual bar fare. The Peanut Butter & Jelly burger sounds weird but was pronounced excellent. Greek flatbread pizza and the Thumb brewery wrap as well as cowboy burger were also enjoyed. They have an amazing variety of beer on tap and the waiter was very helpful with suggestions. Definitely will return, as we now have a growler which will need to be refilled periodically! read more

In the beginning, the food was so much better. Now, it seems to have lost some of the home-made charm and moved to more GFS fare, which is disappointing. Being able to get a growler of my favorite beer is nice. read more

A nice addition to Caseville. Very large selection of brews and it's a "brewery" so the food is a bonus. Sat outside at firepit once with a large group and inside a couple times with smaller groups. Quaint and friendly. The staff were working hard to please. Caseville is a long way from the populations in the winter time so I understand why this new business isn't taj mahal and I am thankful for a new unique place to get together with family, friends and meet new people. read more

Stopped by on 2/21 to check out the Shanty Days events. Meant to only stay for a few minutes, but ended up staying for 6 hours. Beer was great! Had a sampler platter so that I could zero in on what beers I wanted in a pint. Participated in the ice block breakage game as well as the Euchre tournament. Opted for a simple burger and fries and was very pleased. Service was great as well. Liked it so much that we went back the next day and had Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy while my better half had the Lasagna. Wonderful, wonderful meal. They had added a very comfortable sitting area with 2 leather loveseats and coffee table. Great for relaxing while having our beer while we waited for our food. We will be back..... read more

Dropped in with friends this past weekend. REALLY excited about a brewery up in the Thumb, but only to be disappointed by the prices. WTF!!! $38 for a growler of their own brew? You have to be kidding me. The snacks were good - not great. For snacks and drinks for four of us - plus two growlers - we spent over $120... I'll pass on this place the next time. read more

We went to dinner here last week with three little kids. We were given a small table for our family which made things difficult when food and drinks came out. The menu was a little disappointing. We tried their buffalo chicken dip and it was excellent. A good appetizer for the table. My wife got the ceasar salad with chicken and said it was okay, nothing special. She also ordered the cheese soup which was nothing to write home about. I had a Swiss and mushroom burger which was decent. I tried their oatmeal stout which took my breath away, but not in a good way. It tasted like a shot of alcohol. My wife ordered a safe Frankenmuth brewery beer. I talked to a friend and he likes some of their beers and he says they have very good flat bread pizzas. So if we go back again I will try one of those. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms which was nice. Their service was average and their food came out a little slow. But overall it was an okay experience. read more
