For the past three years, we do not miss cheeseburger in Caseville. And for the past three years, our first stop as in Beachy's. Not only do they have amazing cheeseburgers and cocktails, and everything else food wise Beachy's is a virtual cornucopia of knickknacks, tchotchkes and other beach town paraphernalia. The environment and vibe are fun. The food is in the middle. Their appetizers are great, but their specialties are subpar at best. The beachy's bowl is hard rice, a couple veggies that are sautéed in something sour. The chicken lettuce wraps have the same issue. Hard rice, just chicken and lettuce. No seasoning. They have a nice covered patio where they had a live singer who was awesome. Not too loud and really talented. The service was a little slow and our server didn't interact with us very much but the food came out pretty quickly. It was all just ok, nothing to write home about. The Caesar salad was just chopped lettuce, a few croutons, a sprinkle of bagged Parmesan cheese, and a thick Italian dressing rather than Caesar. A crime that it was $15 but an even bigger offense that it was $8 to add chicken to a very mediocre salad. The coconut shrimp was good, we liked the sauces it came with. Stumbled upon a cute restaurant while visiting Michigan's thumb area. Very cute vibe, nearby beach restaurant. Although I did not get outdoor seating which I so much wanted. Located in the center of downtown Caseville,Beachy's has the vibe. As soon as you arrive you will see the vibrant beach colors and hear the music that transforms you into feeling you are on the beach. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who took us to our table. Their drink selection is extensive and so is their menu. Prices are on the higher side which can be expected in a touristy area. Portions are fine and the food is served fresh and hot. The shrimp tacos were tasty but they come with no sides. I like a little spice so I asked for some hot sauce. My wife had their shrimp bowl which she was very happy with. Beachy's also operates Bake and Brew and Thumb Brewery which are all located on the same property. They have a unique list of craft cocktails that are $14. I got the Shark Attack for the cool glass it came in and enjoyed the drink as well. We got a few apps and felt the food was a bit dry. There's some pros but also some serious cons about Beachy's and unfortunately today when we went, those cons outweighed the pro's in my opinion. Pros: - Friendly staff - Dog friendly - gave water for the dog and even had a dog menu - Food tasted fantastic Cons: - We were overcharged and I did not realize it until we got home and I added everything up that we got - Ordered a root beer, waitress said they didn't have that so I ordered a Dr. Pepper. She found out they actually do have root beer and did end up giving me that instead which was nice (apparently it was only her 2nd day and this was the least negative con there was) - We ordered 2 appetizers, a soda and a blueberry mule right away. The soda came right away, the apps took a while to come and the mule didn't come until the apps were almost finished. We had to ask twice about it and the server said the bar was behind but I'm pretty sure she forgot to put it in. - It had been a while since we had ordered a chicken sandwich and dog chicken so we asked about it and the server said they got slammed and the kitchen was backed up. This was a lie, about 15 minutes later when she brought it out, she said they had actually lost the ticket. - After finished all the food we sat there waiting almost another 15 minutes to be brought the check and another 10ish minutes for a pup cup. I asked at the host stand for a box because I was afraid that would take another 10-15 minutes. - Check wasn't itemized which is why I didn't realize we were over charged until I got home and started doing the math. - Not a big deal but I realized once my steak came that she never asked me how I wanted my steak cooked. Thats pretty standard when ordering steak. She also said it came with asparagus, it was green beans, again not a big deal it was incorrect. -Not very kid friendly. While they had high chairs, they didn't have a kids menu and they didn't give my daughter any water so I gave her mine. read more

Beachy's is a touristy spot but worth a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's right on the main drag in Caseville. Outdoor games like cornhole, giant connect four and jenga make this a great place for families. We stopped for lunch and sat outside. They have a menu full of fun "beachy" drinks. We loved the orange creamsicle. We enjoyed the wings and the Cuban sandwich for lunch. They have live music daily and we were pleasantly surprised to find it even during lunch time. Great location in the middle of town- colorful and lively decorations. Frequent live music adds to the ambiance. The problem is the bar staff- we were there both Friday and Saturday nights. Both nights it was near impossible to get a drink. Saturday night we waited 45 minutes. One of us ordered a Manhattan and had to wait because there was only one bartender who knew how to make it and she made it with sugar. The bartenders were all clueless. The bar staff is really poor. They shorted me $10 and my friend a couple dollars- so it's a great place as far as looks and sound, but they need to get some solid bartenders that know what they're doing and have enough staff on hand so when people come in they can actually have a couple drinks. We left and went across the street where we knew we could get a drink. I will not be going back there for a long time, if ever. read more

Popped into Beachy's while visiting Caseville. The place was loud! Lots of people having having a good time! The bar is small and their liquor selection wasn't the greatest, but I ordered a rum runner and it was excellent. My wife and daughter shared the white sangria and they really enjoyed it. My wife and I both ordered perch. It was good. The mashed potatoes we amazing! They add sour cream, which I love. Kids each got a burger with fries (the burgers are huge) and said they liked them.
