Well, someone finally bought the old "Boathouse". Thank goodness. It sure needed a redo. The new owners are working on lifting it up from the grave. Food is good. Food and atmosphere are good. A little pricey, but I'm ok with that because of the quality and the fact they only have a few months to make their money. It also keeps the locals away. Food does usually take a while but that just gives more time to enjoy the music. read more

Consistently excellent, Kyle always makes us feel welcome and special. The Perfect Perch dinner is aptly named. The lake perch are just dusted enough to provide a slight crunch and lightly fried. You can taste their delicate flavor and it is accompanied by great grilled asparagus and a choice of potato( I love their smashed potatoes) My husband had the shrimp tacos and and loved them. Food is very good. Fun atmosphere for sure....a little pricey, so I personally wouldn't take kids there. Great smack-dab option in downtown Caseville that isn't "bar food". BUT, please buy more umbrellas - the sun was baking us to death and then steal umbrellas from other tables as people complain. It's like musical chairs with umbrellas. In summer the sun just beats down on the entire patio. Buy more umbrellas! read more

This restaurant has nice staff and they work hard but they are way too slow for the capacity for the restaurant. Therefore we were waiting 20 minutes to order our drinks and food. They only brought half the drinks to the table. More staff is required for better service. If you don't mind a wait. This restaurant is great!! read more

Had the supeherb herb chicken, it was delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy. Loved the band playing. Service was friendly and fast.

When we approached the hostess booth, we asked for a table and they explained that they don't keep a waitlist as people just sit down at a table when one opens. So after we scavenged like wolves for a table, a waitress came over immediately and took our drink order then disappeared for 35 minutes bringing us our drinks that couldn't even get a toddler drunk. After finally getting our drinks she ran as fast as she could away from us before we could order our food. When she came to take our order she informed us she was out of pretty much everything... an hour later we left without being fed. The band was good tho! read more

We wanted to eat at El Rio's in Pigeon last Thursday but they were closed. Sigh.... So we decided to drive into Caseville to check out the culinary scene. MSU was playing so the sports bar was loaded. Could have been fun since our cottage doesn't get ESPN. But we decided on Beachy's. Place was pretty deserted but we got there a bit later than the average diner. Decided to not eat in the igloos, but in the main dining room. I am glad we ate there. Will definitely eat there again!!! They gave us free chips and pico because we were one of the last groups eating there that night. Chips were warm and homemade. The pico was decent. I got the cuban and it was excellent. great portion size and wonderful taste. The regular fries were just that, regular. but the sweet potato fries were excellent. Caesar salad and french onion soup were both very tasty. The chicken pesto sandwich was very good as well. Service was excellent and attentive. The atmosphere was festive and warm. Overall, an excellent meal. One of the best meals that we've ever had in Caseville. We miss the Riverside but Beachy's is definitely a excellent alternative. We will be back, many times!!! It's been a while since I've been to Caseville. My grandmother is from here and I spent many summers on the lake. This has to be the best meal I've ever had there. Normally I would opt for fish on the lake, but my cousin convinced me to try the Cuban. I've never had better, maybe not even a better sandwich. Love this place. Great food staff and decor! The Cuban is a must have item on the menu and the French onion soup never disappoints. Chicken strips are the best I've had. Sorry I really wanted to like it. There is such a shortage of anywhere to eat in the town. But from the super slow service to the wilty lettuce here I cant recommend. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. My son and I ordered the cod sandwich and the BLT. The fish filets were pretty large, the tartar sauce was homemade and tasty, and a nice brioche bun. The fries were really good- they had both sweet potato and regular fries on the plate- both were solid. The presentation was nice on a surfboard wood plate. My sons BLT was really great- thick bacon and tomatoes -and a perfect sunny egg on top. This place might be a little pricey compared to others in town but the food is notably better. Our waitress was very friendly, pleasant and attentive . Great job ! Outdoor dining. We were happy to hear there was outdoor dining however it was in the parking lot . Sorry no bonus points for that . Mostly out of all the beers we tried to order however we both ended up with a beer in the end . The inside decor look fun ! There was a set of born hole game which would be fun as well. My husband ordered the high tide chicken . He said it tasty. I had the Cuban sandwich . It have very good flavor however the bun was so soggy I had to eat it with a fork. Would have been great on a crust bun . FYI if you order the shrimp cocktail, it comes with the shells in.
