I've been shopping here for months, but after today, I won't be coming back…read more On my way into the store, I found a really cute table near the front and placed it in my cart. About 10 minutes later, while I was still shopping, three employees approached me, surrounded my cart, and one of them removed the table without any explanation. Confused, I asked what was going on, and that's when they told me the item had already been sold. The issue is, there was no "sold" sign on the table, and it was sitting in the front area mixed in with other furniture that appeared available. As a customer, there was no way to know it wasn't for sale. I honestly got the vibe an employee wanted it. I asked to speak with a manager and explained how uncomfortable the situation felt. Not only was an item taken directly from my cart, but the way it was handled--being approached by multiple employees and not given an explanation upfront--was frustrating and unprofessional. I also questioned how something could be considered "sold" while it was still out on the floor with no indication. I was told it had already been purchased by someone else, and they took it away. What made the situation worse was that there was no apology--just a repeated explanation of what happened on their end (understaffing) which only added to my frustration. They had no employees to help the customer however, 3 employees were able to surround me in the aisle? I've never had an experience like this at a thrift store--or any store. Typically, items are either clearly marked as sold with a tag or removed from the sales floor. This situation felt disorganized and poorly handled. It's disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite stores in the area, but based on this experience, I won't be returning.

Thought I would drop in to check out Ollie's Bargain Outlet since I had not been there before and I…read moreexpected it to be another disheveled, unorganized heap of random half-opened, crushed boxes of things. Rather than find a bunch of garage sale-type broken cast-offs, I was delightfully surprised to find some really great things! Upon entering the front doors, there was a smell of new carpeting and the store was extremely clean and organized. My first great find was their section of new, discounted books of all types of reading genres! There were multiple aisles of children's books (preschool all the way up to teen) at amazing discounts. For example, I found a super book by a very famous children's author for 70% off and to make it even better, I discovered that the book was a new, signed copy! Score! There are so many different categories of name-brand items: garden supplies, lawn care, tools and hardware, paint, health and beauty aids, patio furniture, dishes and kitchenware, blankets and towels, home décor, toys and puzzles, shoes, clothing items, rugs, and so much more! Items were new in original packaging in perfect condition but at rock-bottom prices. There's something for everyone here. You can sign up at the register for the store loyalty program and when you provide your email address and download the app, you will receive a 15% off coupon that is good on your next visit. I look forward to coming back during the holiday season, as well! Friendly employees and great merchandise; who likes to pay full-price?

If you've ever wondered what it feels like to pay Boutique Manhattan prices for items your grandma…read moredonated in 2004, just take a stroll through Goodwill. I walked in hoping to find a cheap T-shirt and walked out questioning the entire global economy--because apparently, a faded shirt with a mystery stain is now worth $12.99. The real treasure hunt isn't finding a bargain; it's finding anything that isn't priced like it was personally blessed by a celebrity. My personal favorite was the used shoes--clearly worn during someone's entire cardio journey--marked at a bold, confident $19.99. Truly inspirational. If inflation ever needs a spokesperson, Goodwill is ready. At these prices, I'm convinced Goodwill is secretly auditioning to become a luxury retailer. Any day now, they'll start handing out complimentary champagne as you browse the $7 coffee mugs from 1998. But hey, if you've ever wanted to experience the thrill of paying full retail for items that were literally donated for free, Goodwill has you covered.

I said no thanks and just left i want no part in a scam or thief. I tried calling and I got hung up on. I will be reporting to higher power. They really need to remove this thief from our community. Stealing is stealing even donations. Beware! Picture included of employee Veronica.

They know the stores inventory, and the location of items. They can even look up sizes, styles, and different brands in their computer system. They are always willing to go the extra mile. They keep their inventory fresh, by only keeping consignment items for 3 months. The prices are very good. The items are marked down a few times, during the 3 months they are on consignment. This is good for buyers and sellers. As a seller, when an item is getting close to it's 3 month consignment date, it's be marked down and many time sells. As a buyer, I can get great deals. There's times they thought would sell, doesn't sell right away. Then I come in, and it's perfect for me. I've also found things I like, but there not in my price range. Many times the item has sold. Other times, I check back and find it marked down. Great buy for me! In addition to lot's of shopping, I've brought dozens of items into the store for consignment. They do not take everything, but a lot of my items sell. The have always been very professional when going through my items. When you bring your items in, you can browse, shop or sit and relax. Once they determine the Items they will accept on consignment, they give your other items back to you. There's many reasons they may not accept an item. The main reason is the item is more than 2-3 years old, or it's not in style. They do accept vintage items. Sometimes they already have enough of a style or type of item in the inventory. They know the current styles, brands, and types of items that they currently selling. They also know what many of their regular customers are looking for. Great store!!!
