We came in with a group of 10 the other day, only to be greeted by what I can only describe as the most unfriendly, rude, and disrespectful lady I have ever met. We would ask basic questions, only for her to quite literally yell at us and make extremely unprofessional remarks about every inquiry we had. Hands down top 3 worst customer service I have ever seen and dealt with in over 20 years. The other male bartender was nice, and was friendly and personable. The lanes where we were out at had the overwhelming smell or poop for about 2 hours, absolutely disgusting (the bathrooms are over there). Everyone in our group was flabbergasted how we were treated, and we were nothing but respectful, and just wanted to help a local business. We come here every year for our birthdays, but never will again, ever. The only reason this is 2 stars and not 1, is I found the prices to be fair, and the other staff seemed normal and professional. Again, I hope this buisness uses this for information for areas of opportunity, I'm not trying to attack, but just be honest .

She spoke to an older woman on the phone who took the reservation and said everything was in order. Fast forward to last Saturday. The birthday party starts at noon. My sister shows up at 11:30am to get everything set up and the place is closed. The sign on the door indicates that the place was supposed to open at 9am. Frantic phone calls to the number listed on the website go unanswered. The answering machine also confirms that the bowling alley was supposed to open at 9am. So my sister is in tears trying to find a way to salvage this party. She was able to move the party to Meadow Lanes North on less than 20 minutes notice, which was a life saver. I sent an email to the address listed on the website looking for clarification on what happened and received no reply. Facebook messages were also ignored. A worker FINALLY showed up at 11:50am to open the place up (remember it was supposed to open at 9am). This worker was incredibly rude to my mother when she demanded an explanation. The worker claims there was no party booked and demanded my mother leave. So all in all, terrible, awful, customer service. Do not book parties here. Do not give them your business. Owners and employees don't bother to write down reservations or own up to their mistakes.

When I was in high school I was notorious for my rockets. One evening one of my rockets flew over two blocks and landed on the roof of the bowling alley. Set the roof on fire. The fire department was called to put it out; and I got into a world of trouble. But all that aside, this is a very nice place to bowl. There are 18 well kept lanes. The paper score sheets are a thing of the past. Now all scoring is done automatically. Meadow Lanes is a family friendly place that offers fun for everyone. There is a bar (who doesn't bowl with at least three beers?) and a pool table. My wife and I like to go here and watch bowlers (keglers) during the winter months when Wisconsin is frozen. Some of the bowlers are really good, while others are hilarious. While the popularity of bowling has waned in the country, Meadow Lanes has managed to stay relevant to the neighborhood. So if your idea of fun is throwing a 16 pound ball at 10 innocent pins, get yourself down to Meadow Lanes and have a good time.

This place is frozen pizza, beer on tap or in a bottle, and friendly faces. The owners Bruce and Penny are the sweetest, most kind people you will ever meet. In regards to beer choices it's mainly coors light, busch light, miller lite, budweiser and bud light. The bathrooms are tiny, there is a pool table, and they do have a juke box. Street parking only. I hope others fall in love with this old school wooden lane vintage bowling alley the way I have.

Willow Creek has open bowl hours on Saturday and we called and found that they had some free lanes. When we arrived, it was definitely busting in there but they did have a couple free lanes. We secured our lane, ordered a couple bourbon old fashioned cocktails, a basket of fries, and some jalapeno poppers (you know..your usual bowling alley fare). You order at the bar and the bring your food right to your lane. Everything was great. Good seating at the lanes, a nice area to keep your food and drink behind the lane area, and even some nice hooks to hang your coats while you bowl. Zero complaints and a fun afternoon had! I really love taking my boys to Badger Sports Park. The only…read moreproblem is we cant go very often because you need a small loan to spend any length of time there. Today with the help of a Groupon, the kids were able to do more than they are normally allowed to do. They bowled, had a few turns on the laser maze and jumped in the inflatables. The laser maze and bowling get zero complaints from me. However, The inflatables gets 1 star- the inflatables themselves are great, but... The absolutely ridiculous turf, they stupidly put down in a children's play area.... I cant even! There are these black pellets all over the place "for your comfort and safety" Let me tell you my child's bloody murder screams from the pellet in his eye, that refused to come out, and the over 15 minutes he spent crying in pain on the bathroom floor, to his now probably scratched cornea... safety and comfort are not exactly the words that crossed my mind. There were a lot of swear words that did, however. This definitely ruined my son's fun. I really do not understand the point of this material being added. It is definitely not safe. I will not be back (for the inflatables) for this reason specifically. I would also recommend parents go to other inflatable entertainment facilities we have in the area. Everything here is pretty costly. As a parent I cant afford to bring my kids here often. But they do have fun when they go. I also feel like I just gave them a gambling addiction from the crane games. That's where is starts, folks.... JUST ONE MORE TIME...I ALMOST HAD IT.....
