Stopped in here for something fun to do with the kids but I think may have had more fun than they did! The owners are AWESOME fun, down to earth folks!! We played a few games axe throwing (kids vs adults) and had a blast!!!! They had other games there as well, but axe throwing was our highlight. They have a ton of beers on tap and served pizza. Eight members of my family showed up at this place two days after Christmas. Not busy at 2:00, when we had our reservation for axe throwing, but it filled up before we left - around 4:00. There is a wonderful beer selection. Some wine too - but I was not interested in that. Got a flight for eight bucks. You choose the beer from (I think) 24 choices of craft beers. The bartender was really knowledgeable about the beer - and they had a great written guide about them as well. I was really scared about the axe throwing. They make you sign a waiver that includes the word "death" - hahahahaha! - but it's totally understandable. Still - alcohol and axe throwing did not seem like a wise combination. BUT - they gave our group a coach who stayed with us the entire time. He was wonderful - helpful and fun! (and i feel horrible that I cannot remember his name! I'm pretty sure it was the owner) He guided us and set up games for us to play. With his encouragement and guidance, almost all of my family members got pretty good at throwing the axes, even though we had never done it before. Not me though. I am a woos - I guess - and I didn't get it to stick in the wall even one time. And yet - I did get a bit better at it (one time it almost stuck and slid down) - and had loads of fun!! It was 20 bucks each for us to throw axes for an hour. Totally worth it! We all agreed! There were other things to do. Baggo - and that was free. Hit nails into a big chunk of wood with the narrow end of a hammer - a buck a nail. Some sort of skee-ball game. A giant Connect-Four game. It was such a fun place!!! I don't live in the area - but when I visit my family we will for sure be going back! read more

Was there last night with two others. We each got a 4 beer flight, there's an awesome tap selection, with some standard domestics in bottles, and some wine from Von Steihl. We tried our hand at axe throwing before the women's league started at 6, then moved on to Hammerschlagen. Tapped also serves Animal pizzas in case you get hungry! The entire building was spotless, and the renovation looks incredible! The staff was sociable and informed, I'll be returning, no question about it. read more

New place with lots to keep you busy while drinking. Don't like beer that is okay. They also serve Von Stiehl wine. A Wisconsin winery. Wonderful selection of beers! Fun place to hang-out. I wish that they would serve some bar foods. They offer a number of excellent craft beers, including many local offerings. They also offer little descriptions of each beer, so you can pick-out your beer with some knowledge. They are not stingy with offering samples. Friendly service. They also have a number of free "lawn games" which add to the fun time. read more

Great place. You want a huge selection of tap beers..come here. Around 25 or so to choose from....they do also have bottled beer (Michelob Ultra for example) if you aren't in to craft beers. Wine is also an option. They had awesome little cut sheets of all the different beers so you could read through them all and find one to fit your tastes...great touch because sometimes so many choices can be overwhelming if not familiar! You will not be bored at this bar! Games galore. Bean bags, washers, giant Jenga, shuffleboard, hammerschlaugen, board games and the most amazing of all - axe throwing! So much fun. You can rent a lane for $15 an hour per person. Fill out your waiver and then let the axes fly! Their is a "coach" at each lane always to ensure safety and to teach proper form and technique as well as keep score. Made it an incredibly fun and effortless "game" to play. The place is new and modern and very open and comfortable. It's like playing backyard games with friends...but in a bar! They serve pizzas (which are super tasty) only but you can bring in your own food or have food delivered from wherever also! Great place, go check it out! read more

I had the BEST time here. Someone said there was a bar where you can throw axes. Logically, we had to check it out!!! Omg, coolest place ever!! Drinking and axe throwing - does not get any better than that!! The bartender, who I believe was also one of the owners, was super cool! He walked us through the axe throwing and then we did a little game against some other bar patrons who wanted to try their hand at axe throwing. After signing the appropriate waivers, we got to it!!! Such a cool bar, cool concept!! We are definitely going to go back! This is a must visit!!! The bar itself is super nice, open, wide array of Wisconsin beers. Also saw a golf game (virtual screen) and brand new shuffle board. Plus another hammer game. Too much fun! Check it out!! read more

What a fun addition to the lakeshore. Axe throwing, bags, loads of regional tap beers and all in a clean, nicely lit bar. They serve frozen Animals pizza if you need a snack. Only downside is getting in and out of their parking lot. read more

We are visiting the area and stopped by here and had a blast! The beers were great and the staff was so friendly! Craig helped us with axe throwing. It was a first time for all of us but he taught us how and walked us through lots of fun games. We ended up staying for quite a few hours and were never bored with all of the other fun games around. Kudos to Craig's mom for the awesome seasoned pretzels. Would definitely recommend giving this place a visit. read more

This was our first time visiting Tapped on the Lakeshore and what a great experience! The bartender was very helpful selecting our beer and offered samples to help in the selection. Our axe instructor made the entire experience so much fun! He helped us through out the entire process and made us feel very welcomed and relaxed. He added some very fun competitive advantages to our team and made the entire process fun! I would highly recommend everyone to try this with friends or family!
