I ordered a cheesecake and a bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich and I've never tasted a BLT as good as the one that they make they make it in Texas toast, garlic, Texas toast and it is so creamy with mayonnaise they put on I recommended to anybody I didn't get any fries, cause I'm cutting down in my carbs and I figured the bread was enough damage, but it was delicious. one star is generous our experience was horrible it was as if my husband a I were invisible saw three bar tenders serve people that came in after and refilled. They completely ignored us and we ended up leaving we won't be giving them the opportunity to treat us that way again. (note we were completely sober and polite so no legal reason for it). read more

first time customer. several empty tables when I arrived. Sat down at a table, the waiter kept looking at us, never came over, never said "be right with you", just kept ignoring us. Were finally able to flag down the bartender who came over and took our drink order, we asked if we could place our food order and were told "no you can't" and he walked away. Drinks arrived 10 minutes later. Still couldn't order. Another couple who came in after us were seated. Received their drinks and food order taken immediately. The waiter continued to ignore us. Finally the bartender came back and asked if we had our food order taken yet Only to be told the menu item we specifically came in for was sold out. I told him we were not impressed with the service and that it was our first time there. He got a bit nasty with us but did say he would check to see if they had one more order left for the meal we came in for. 25 minutes later we got our food. My food was very good, my partner said his steak was too well done and a bit dry. Will we go back? Absolutely not. I've worked in several bar restaurants and supper clubs where it got insanely busy with 3 people deep at the bar waiting for a table and we never treated people like this. They're obviously in the wrong busines. read more

So I don't do reviews. however, when a business is exceptional it deserves recognition. my wife and I and our 3 young kids tried the Tipsy tomato after delivering a doordash order. the food smelled so good we went back for dinner. first the environment of the bar is amazing. as a father of 3 small children (3,6,8) it was nice to lower my guard and be in dad mode not protector. All the ladies working were clearly hustling. somehow they still made time to build a relationship with our table. not just our server. every lady working made this effort. now the food. honestly by the time the food arrives it doesn't matter how good the food is the environment would make up for the deficit. that is not the case here. the food shines to the same level of the service. thank you for a wonderful family dinner. we will be back soon. with friends. read more

On a whim I walked in a new door and sat down at the bar. There are tables to the left. Greeted by a friendly bartender and given a menu. Black bean burger and an order of onion rings. As I waited for my food, I ordered a Spotted Cow on tap. Couple of TVs to watch. Light conversation with other patrons as it is a friendly place. My food was really good! Couple days later, I went and ordered a 10 inch take out pizza. Mushrooms, black olives, banana peppers and pineapple. That pizza was a work of art. Thin crust with great and ample cheese and toppings. It was delicious and I'm dreaming of my next one. They are also proud of their cheesecake offerings. I'll have to try some next time. I met some friends here on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to cet a table for 4 right away. The menu was pretty standard for a bar and grill. We got our drinks, and the waitress told us there was a band starting in an hour. I was in a pizza mood. I ordered a 12 inch 3 topping pizza to split with my wife. The pizza was out in a short time. I was thrilled that it was a thin, crispy crust, my favorite. The pizza was cut in squares, not slices. The sauce was good with ample cheese. This pizza is worth coming back for. read more

Been trying to get here since it opened! Delicious food and super friendly staff and owners!! Hubby had a burger and cottage fries which are like a thick crunchy outside and soft potato inside! The duck wontons have so much flavor on there own, the sweet chili sauce wasn't even necessary! Potstickers were delicious and the thick crust pizza, delicious and different than any other thick crust. It's double thin crust basically. And a HUGE kudos on their cheesecake selection! The staff and owners were super in every way! Treating customers with patience and accommodating their requests. Q and Erica took care of us and even the owner was involved in assisting his staff! Pizza was delicious but the bartender was just complaining the whole time about working. Made the experience poor.

First I'll start with the good. First time for my husband and I. My beer was good. The bartender was nice. The cheese/garlic bread was really good. The pizza was also pretty good. The cook apologized for burning our pizza and they gave us our drinks for free. Now the bad. My husband's bloody Mary was very salty (another lady also didn't finish hers) and his beer chaser was skunky. They burnt our first pizza. It was 50 minutes to get our pizza. There were no paper towels in the bathroom. The place wasn't busy. I would give them grace if it was, but it was very slow. The bartender even said so. We won't be back. read more

We've eaten here twice and ordered takeout pizza and cheese bread once - each time the food has been great. Some of the best thin-crust pizza in town. Crispy, cheesy (but not too cheesy) with excellent sauce (not sweet) and perfect blend of spices. We've had pepperoni and sausage, and both are excellent. The garlic bread and garlic cheese bread are also great - and the prices are hard to beat. Solid service, even when busy. Great place to unwind and have a drink and some great food with friends. read more

For the first time, we ordered a thin crust pizza for take out at Tipsy Tomato. By the time I got home it was still hot and delicious. The staff was very friendly and the pizza only took 20-25 minutes. There are many pizza restaurant options in Manitowoc and Two Rivers. However, we wanted to try something new. I highly recommend to give this restaurant / bar a try. We'll be back for more! read more

Disorganized. Pizza crust raw , ample ingredients, pizza sauce ok .. had leftovers asked for pizza box was brought styrofoam container.. you don't put pizza in a styrofoam container on top of each other .. they are new but you don't serve pizza with raw crust . Can't recommend for pizza at this time . Also noted the bartender was serving a man that was already very drunk . The drunk guy was attempting to sing very loudly and was swinging a pool stick .. nothing was said to him . read more

First time at the Tipsy Tomato and was overall impressed. The atmosphere in the place was very relaxing and comfortable. The place was also very clean and everything was wiped down after each use. As far as the wait staff and bartenders, there were only a couple of them so service tends to be a little slow. It wasn't a problem though because almost every single place is experiencing this at this time. The wait staff did try to come around and ask about the food. The bartenders did make sure to make rounds and serve everyone. As far as the food, the wait for the food was not long at all. We had gotten a couple of pizzas and they came out quick. Like in about 30 minutes. The pizza was delish! The thin crust was cooked to perfection without being over cooked or burnt. They have a several options of food to satisfy everyone's needs. Also, the prices are reasonable. I recommend this place and will be back again! read more
