Sub our way with Italian cold cuts and provolone

Cute little sandwich shop tucked away in a business center. Service was pretty fast and sandwich was BIG! Split it between two people and it was the perfect amount of food. I like that all the toppings are chopped so you get some in every bite. The pickle bar was mid in my opinion, only 3 options that all tasted similar but worth a try. It does get messy so grab some extra napkins!

One of my favorite sandwich spots in Santa Barbara. Three Pickles has made to order subs that are consistently made to perfection. The "Subs are Way" is my usual go to. I just pick the deli meat I'm feeling for the day and they top it off with their own pickle, tomato, onion and sand which dressing combo. You can't go wrong with it. They also have a variety of specialty sandwiches and salads if you want to have something different. You have to stop by the pickle bar and grab some pickles or pepperoncinis. The staff is awesome and the service is quick. The place also has that sandwich shop feel and very casual setting.

When I want a really good meatball sub or a super fresh deli sandwich or a flavorful salad - like the Goodland - this is my go-to place. Can't miss with three pickles. In the fall and winter the owner Clay comes up with soups for the soul. Won best clam chowder. I liked the Italian Wedding Soup too. Open Mon-Fri. Ultra local, off the beaten path in Goleta. Across from FedEx at the airport - 420 S.Fairview. Easy address to remember Nice little outdoor patio and a few tables inside.

Really great service, and a stacked sandwich. I stopped by and picked up a Goodland club on my way to the airport and I was in and out in probably 10 mins during lunch time. The sandwich was really good, and I felt like it was stacked/packed with contents. I'd come back next time I'm in the area. The "local sandwich shop" vibe is strong here and I'm all for supporting local business.

    Gaucho with bell peppers

The best sandwich I've ever had! I got the Gaucho with bell pepper and asked for it to be spicy. I got au jus and some spicy pepperoncini on the side. The sandwich was super cheesy, with a generous amount of meat. I don't usually like sandwiches, but this was just fantastic! Also the pickles on their self serve counter is just amazing. I added some pepper flakes to spice it up, and it was just perfect. Tbh I wanna go back to get more of their self-serve pickles.

This place is overrated. Don't get me wrong, the sandwich was good but definitely not great. My sandwich was $10.50 not including the drink. They also forgot to put avocado in my goodland club (which is one of the main reasons I ordered that one). The wheat bread was soft and a little sweet but the sandwich itself was nothing out of this world.

Took Amtrak up to Goleta today. Found this place on our walk from the station to the beach. Staff is super friendly, food was really good. I had the pastrami on a french roll and a bowl of their chowder, Really good! My husband had the turkey, mustered was a but spicy but sandwich was good. I don't find many sandwich places id come back to but I'll definitely be back to this one! I would have taken a picture but I ate it to fast. Only suggestion is they move their award winning chowder sign from by the soda machine to over by the register.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I come here for lunch breaks on work every so often and it is such a treat. I got the Goodland club the first time and now I can't get anything else it's so good!! My fiancé has had the meatball sub, pastrami, and Cuban. He loves them all but the Cuban takes the win. Super joyous atmosphere as well.

Service was good. Food came out quickly and was quite tasty. I got the gaucho. Meat was pretty good, sauce smelled and tasted really good. A little off the beaten path but close to my work place. Will definitely come back to try more tasty foods.

Ordered the Gaucho today. Basically this is their take on a Philly Cheesesteak. Man if you like meat, there is a TON of meat. My big mouth had trouble even getting around the roll. Flavor was good however. Au jus made it go down smoothly. Cheese was nicely melted and roll had a nice crunch from the toasting. I usually add some bell peppers to go with this meat monster. Overall a good sandwich. Just might need a nap now. Also, make sure to get some pickles from the self-help pickle bar. They are tasty. Reminds me of the old east coast Jewish delis where you pick your pickle from a barrel. They also have a good selection of kettle chips and sodas. I have tried some of the other sandwiches too, they all have a good helping of meat. A good place to grab lunch. My advice is order ahead online even if you eat in. It gets busy. Place is a bit tiny on the inside, but there is some extra seating outside.

I tried a lot of things on the menu…read more.. Here is how I rank the Mac & Cheese: 1. Bacon Mac & Cheese. It's the same price as the bomb Mac and cheese. They both contain bacon, so i thought this bacon Mac and cheese would be a bad deal ..that is until I tried it and realized that it has A LOT more bacon than the bomb Mac and cheese. Probably like 10x more bacon. It's awesome. I didn't have to add anything else like sauce to finish it. Every bite was awesome. Favorite so far. 2. BBQ Chicken Mac & Cheese. I like the BBQ version more than the Buffalo. I got more chicken this time and it improved the overall meal. 3. Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The chicken is good, i got the crispy version, but there isnt enough pieces of chicken for the price. It's good, but not worth the money. 4. Bomb Mac & Cheese. Great, spend the extra money instead of getting the regular Mac and cheese. I had to add spicy mayo, Sriracha, spicy mayo and jalapenos from Lao Wang to make it better though. 5. Flamin Hot Mac & Cheese. The crushed Takis definitely improve the regular Mac & Cheese. Therefore it's definitely worth the extra dollar for the crushed Takis. Or just buy a bag of Takis and crush them yourself and add that to the regular Mac and cheese. But for convenience, just get this one instead of the regular Mac & Cheese. 6. Street Corn Mac & Cheese. Not as good as the other Mac & Cheese options. More queso fresco would make it better, but it wouldn't be enough to make it worthy of a second purchase. 7. Mac and Cheese. Good, but needs something extra. Kinda plain, I added Sriracha, chili oil and spicy mayo from Lao Wang to make it better. 8. Mac Bites. My least favorite Mac & Cheese option. The monster sauce is good. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Snack Wraps with 15 different sauces. From Favorite to least favorite: 1. Crispy chicken snack wrap with House Sauce, is delicious. 2. Chipotle Sauce. 3. Ranch. 4. Honey BBQ Sauce. 5. Teriyaki Sauce. 6. Spicy Asian. 7. Spicy Sauces. 8. Hummus. 9. Spicy Mayo. 10. Honey Mustard. 11. Buffalo. 12. Bleu Cheese. 13. Tzatziki. 14. Green Salsa. 15. Tahini. I tired ALL of the Grilled Cheese options. I enjoyed all of them. I ranked them from favorite to least favorite: 1. CRISPY Chicken Pesto Grilled Cheese. 2. GRILLED Chicken Pesto Grilled Cheese. 3. B.L.T. Grilled Cheese. 4. Bacon Avocado Grilled Cheese. 5. The Bacon Cheddar Ranch Grilled Cheese. 6. Chili Grilled Cheese. 7. BBQ CRISPY Chicken Grilled Cheese. 8. BBQ GRILLED Chicken Grilled Cheese. 9. The Veggie Grilled Cheese. 10. Fantastic Grilled Cheese. 11. The Caprese Grilled Cheese. 12. The Bacon Mac & Cheese Grilled Cheese. . 13. Adult Grilled Cheese. 14. Classic Grilled Cheese. I have tried 3 different bread options for the Grilled Cheeses. Favorite to least favorite. 1. Sourdough Toasted 2. Rye Toasted 3. Wheat Toasted I have tried all Wing flavors (BONE-IN) except for Ghost Pepper. Favorite to least favorite. 1. Mango Habanero 2. Honey Garlic 3. Spicy Asian 4. Garlic Parmesan (better than Wingstop) 5. Honey Hot 6. Teriyaki 7. Honey BBQ 8. Spicy Buffalo 9. Spicy Korean 10. Mild Buffalo 11. Cajun 12. Lemon Pepper 13. Plain 14. Spicy Scorpion (Extremely Spicy) I've tried every sandwich except for the Falafel and the Fat Hippie. Rank: 1. The Fat Gaucho (I think if I changed the Honey BBQ Sauce to Chipotle or House Sauce it would be the best) 2. The Fat Sam (I think if I removed the fries it would be better) 3. Pastrami (Delicious) 4. Philly Cheesesteak Arguably better than Jersey Mike's Cheesesteaks. 5. Chopped Cheese 6. Patty Melt 7. B.L.T. (Best Bacon in I.V.) 8. Lamb Gyro 9. Ham Sandwich 10. Veggie Sandwich I made a separate sandwich list for the chicken options. Rank: 1. Chicken Shawarma 2. Southwestern Chicken Club 3. Honey Spicy Chicken 4. Chicken Bacon Ranch 5. BBQ Chicken 6. Chicken Pesto Avocado 7. Buffalo Chicken with Bleu Cheese 8. Chicken Tender I made a separate list for Turkey. Rank: 1. Turkey Chipotle Club 2. Turkey Pesto Avocado 3. Turkey Sandwich. I've tried some of the Burgers. Rank: 1. Gaucho Burger 2. IV Burger 3. Buffalo Burger 4. Breakfast Burger 5. 1/4 (Quarter Pounder) 6. Hamburger I've tried some of the Fries. Rank: 1. Dirty Andrew Fries 2. Asada Fries 3. Buffalo Chicken Cheese Fries 4. Animal Style Fries I recommend using their IV Deli APP, because you save time and you can customize your order A LOT. The APP also gives you credits for free food. Overall I loved eating here and ordering something new every day. I liked that this place was open late and had a HUGE & awesome variety of comfort foods :) I was shocked I was able to purchase BOSS coffee here, because I only saw these little cans of coffee in vending machines in Okinawa and mainland Japan..that's awesome:) I.V. I had seen its various locations (Isla Vista, Santa Barbara's Mesa and Goleta) and always wanted to check it out; yet leave it to my sister from out of town to introduce me to it. Twice she has ordered take-out sandwiches at lunch time for us. Their sandwich menu is nutso with 36 creations to choose from, including several that are vegetarian. Of course, the options are endless if you choose to build you own! I went with the #14 (a turkey BLT) and #2 (turkey and cheese) which are simply basic yet tasty. I have no idea what they do to their bread but is addicting. Slight crunch on the outside, yet soft to the squeeze and full of gummy flour flavor! All of the ingredients appear fresh and nothing special--which I appreciate when I want a deli sandwich. I love the fact that you can purchase your sandwich in a variety of sizes including a "mini" for if you need a snack to hold you over and not a full meal. I also think of children, those who are on a lower carb diet, who have had bariatric surgery, or are limiting portion sizes. I personally go for a "small" sandwich. However, if you want to go all out, choose the "medium" or "family" size. Even better, if you're hosting a party, order a three to ten foot long sandwich (requires a day's notice). I will be back to check out the actual place--third time's a charm they say. I've heard both their chicken salad and tuna salad are both delicious. That's next up! P/S: According to Yelpers, they do not accept the Check-In Offer for a free soda with a sandwich purchase. They should really remove this from their Yelp page... Note: Only the Milpas location offers chicken sandwiches, burgers, french fries and chicken nuggets. Note squared: They charge more for credit card payments. Note cubed: If you want free entertainment, check out their Milpas website menus with adorable, phonetically spelled items. (gient vs giant, meetball vs meatball, and phylly vs philly).
