I'm glad we did. from the moment we opened the screen door we were warmly greeted by such kind and friendly people I knew we were in the right place. The menu is overhead and they do offer some vegetarian and vegan options. I ended up ordering the seaweed salad and the veggie roll. SCW got the avocado sandwich. We chose to eat inside which was impeccably clean. Three tables seating two each in a comfortable space. Our order took maybe 10 minute, probably a little less to be served at our table in compostable containers. The seaweed salad was delicious. The quantity was good, the food fresh and the dressing was amazing. The veggie roll was also very fresh and delicious. SCWs sandwich was very tasty as well. The service was amazing. To give you an example I dropped one of my chopsticks on the floor by accident and before I got to the counter to get another they already were bringing me a new set. Outstanding service. When you go through the entrance doors they're pretty slow to open and you have to wait for one door to close before another one opens. The sandwich week Reuben was a half sliced bread with a generous amount of meat. The sauerkraut had a nice tang and the sauce gave it the perfect amount of moisture. So those of you on a low-carb diet this is a perfect sandwich for you. The potato and onion knish tasted like garlic mashed potato wrapped in pastry and it was delicious. While putting my plate away I did notice someone didn't eat the harissa. My guess is that they couldn't handle spiciness. It was super soft and almost like eating a cloud from heaven. The stuffed cabbage almost reminded me of how my mom makes it and they do provide some bread to dip it in... But the hummus was too addicting so I ended up dipping that bread mainly in the hummus. To me the coffee was mild but it went well with the food. But iced tea had a nice floral flavor. Near the end of the meal they did give us some dessert on the house. Since I didn't see the chocolate chip cookie when we ordered I knew that was fresh. The rugelach were a nice 2 biter...or you could eat it in one big bite. The black and white cookie had a lemony flavor that dries up your mouth, so its best with coffee or tea. The warm chocolate cookie initially made me think it had raisins in it, but there were no raisins. The chocolate cookie had flavors that reminded me of fall with warm baking spices like cinnamon or warm apple pie spices. It was interesting and made it unique. Service is also really good...they had a place to drop off your dishes, but throughout our meal we had employees stopping by the check on us and remove some plates. They also made some small talk to give you a personal experience.
