Good sandwich shop. Fresh ingredients. Quick service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is mainly outdoors with a couple of indoor seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the Black Forest ham sandwich, chickens and red pepper sandwich, the chicken and prosciutto, and the panino club. They all tasted good except the panino club... The Stilton cheese was overpowering the sandwich. Stilton cheese is an English blue cheese which can be an acquired taste.

Hubby & I wanted a light lunch & found this place on Yelp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is tiny with only couple of tables inside but the outdoor patio had plenty of seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came here on a Monday afternoon & business was slow so we got to order right away. Waited about 20 min until our server brought our order to the table. Hubby had the Italian combo with a side of harvest salad & I had the roasted chicken pesto w/a garden salad. Both of us agreed the sandwich & salad were legit. The ingredients inside the sandwich blended well together & salad was light & refreshing. We shared a bottle of red lager which went well with the sandwich. I will definitely swing by whenever I'm in the area & craving a good sandwich.

We ordered couple of sandwiches to go and had picnic on a beach. We all love our sandwiches, highly highly recommend!

Stopped by on a sunday afternoon for a quick bite. The sandwich options were endless and all sounded really good. I got the turkey pesto and it was perfect. Lots od turkey and the bread was fresh and soft. The employees are all very welcoming and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place has plenty of shaded seating outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I had a brain fart while getting food here. The menu outside of the restaurant actually belonged to the restaurant next door so when I ordered a panini I didn't receive the response that I expected. Now at the front of the long line I had to pivot quickly. The gal at the register was able to create a custom sandwich for me that wasn't a panini but tasted very good. I ended up getting a turkey with avocado, cheese and lettuce (nice lettuce!) with honey mustard dressing with real honey. 3.5 stars!

Came in to grab a chicken pesto sandwich to go and it was flavorful, fresh, and filling for $15. I love this place for sandwiches.

This sandwich shop really surpassed my expectations! I tried their chicken sandwich with pesto, pine nuts, and sun dried tomatoes.. and WOW! The nuts really elevated this sandwich, I really loved the crunch that they added to it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside, there's a few tables and lots of drink/chip options![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were incredibly patient with my group since there's a lot of sandwich options, haha.

Must Know: Italian Combo was delicious; free parking all around Solvang; not a lot of places were opened for lunch service on Tuesday so great spot to check out for a quick bite. Here are our 5 Star FAPS: Food (F): We ordered one Italian Combo sandwich on focaccia bread to share. It was a great portion size. We added on kettle chips. They have a great selection of them. It was nicely presented and halved for us on these plates. Ambiance (A): [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice outdoor seating. We preferred the outside seating option with the fresh air and beautiful architecture of Solvang. Quiet and calm on a Tuesday afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking: FREE! Lots of lots and street parking. It was relatively empty on a Tuesday. Unsure what the weekend parking situation is like in terms of crowdedness. Service (S): Such kind of friendly staff. Fast service and no wait. It was a great bite before grabbing a sweet treat at one of the bakeries nearby!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Located in the heart of Solvang, this is a solid spot for an easy lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You order at the counter, get a number, and then sit outside in the shared courtyard, where they bring the food to you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a dedicated section of tables just for Panino.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We visited during a busy holiday weekend, so the wait was about 30 minutes for two sandwiches. The sandwiches were solid--delicious and satisfying--but a bit on the pricey side at around $15 each. Still, it's a good option if you're looking for a quick, tasty meal in a charming location. Would definitely come back to try more!

Amazing taste and service. We have used this spot many times to bring a picnic to Demetria Vineyards and have never been disappointed

Stopped by Peasant's Deli and ordered the Tuna Sando and the Kobe Sando…read more The Tuna Sando immediately jumped into my top three tuna sandwiches I've had. It was loaded with flavor from the Conservas Ortiz white tuna, boquerones, piquillo peppers, egg, arugula, and tonnato sauce. Honestly, I took one bite and completely forgot to take a proper picture. That's usually a good sign. We also tried the Kobe Sando, which was very tasty as well. The bread was a little firmer than I personally prefer, but it still worked well with the sandwich and didn't take away from the overall experience. We sat outside along the side of the restaurant and really enjoyed the seating area. Inside, the deli is just as interesting. They have displays of aged meats and a walk-in room arcade that feels like a hidden gem. It's a unique touch that adds a lot of character to the space. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and great hospitality. Can't wait to come back and work my way through more of the menu.

The check-in process was a breeze; we simply shared our party size and dining preferences. Before we knew it, we were seated in about 15 to 20 minutes. Now, let me tell you about the atmosphere. Inside, it was quite lively and a bit loud, so we opted for a charming outdoor seating area that felt much more relaxed. I couldn't help but notice how the staff, dressed in traditional Danish attire, radiated warmth and friendliness while being impressively efficient. For my meal, I went with a Danish pancake accompanied by Danish-style sausage--absolutely divine! I also swapped my eggs for hashbrowns, and wow, these have to be the best hashbrowns I've had in years. My child chose a waffle topped with fluffy whipped cream and a glass of orange juice, which she raved about, claiming it tasted like fresh-squeezed goodness. The portions were more than generous, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. All in all, it was a delightful brunch experience that I'd gladly recommend!

This place is non-descript yet just off the main park downtown, and an easy walk from most of the major hotels in town, or the central parking lot - plus lots of street parking as well. It seems rather small, with one area for bar seating and small tables, plus a larger dining area "next door" to the bar, but I like the bar ambiance, so it may be challenging on busy tourist days. Luckily, I travel on non-busy days and have always had a good seat. The ambiance is great, with a typical, colorfully decorated pub feel with TVs offering an invitation to relax and have a pint - or two! The menu is varied, and I had planned for what I wanted, but when the server/bartender/boss offered the daily special as an option, I quickly jumped at the chance. The special was a queso dip with house-made chips, and I had to try it! Sadly, I also ordered my usual, the Cobb salad. Sadly, because after the "appetizer" arrived, I quickly realized the full consequences of the saying "your eyes are bigger than your stomach!" The dip and chips were plentiful in both, and for me would have made a great meal on their own. But I was committed and managed to finish the salad. On my previous visit, I had the mac 'n cheese and the Cobb salad, along with a Guinness dark! That was sooo tasty as well! The food at this visit was great, and the service was as well. Sam, who is the owner, bartender, server, and jack-of-all-trades, is always friendly, professional, and efficient, no matter how busy it is, and this visit was the only one outside the kitchen. If you're in the area, give them a try! And leave room for dessert - I have yet to do that, but you can learn from my mistakes!
