This place gave me some of the worst food poisoning I've had in years, do not eat the shrimp, whatever you do, don't eat the shrimp!

I finally got a chance to dine in and eat fresh food vs. delivery. it didn't disappoint at all! The swiss and mushroom burger was juicy, the shrooms were fresh and the fries complemented the burger really well. Service was prompt and of high quality. I'll def. be back! enjoy! read more

The service was excellent, our waitress would come by periodically to check on us she was very sweet. For the food we got the TDC Burger with fries, TDC Burger with homemade chips, mild and medium wings. Both of the burger were cooked to perfection they come with lettuce,tomato,onion, and a pickle spear. The homemade chips were crispy and the fries were delicious. The medium wings were very spicy but delicious, the mild ones were more my style they were very crispy. A few of my coworkers and I came here for lunch and it was definitely a good experience. I ordered the chicken fingers with fries. My meal was filling. I was most impressed by my coworkers meal. They ordered the fish sandwich and from the size of the fish, it could definitely have been two sandwiches! They thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be back! read more

It's a BIG NO for me‍ I literally just walked out of here. I felt so over looked and I welcomed. When I walked in the 20 minutes ago no one greeted or acknowledged me. I asked the cook which way was the restroom to wash my hands and in passing seen a waiter and asked could I seat myself as I may. He directed be to the smoking area. There was a bartender and about four waitresses I saw. Three where on the phone, outside & having conversation outside the door a few steps away from me (I sat by the door) and the waiter that the bartender told I was seating have a half smirk and quickly over looked me. I sat uncomfortable, no water, greeting, acknowledgement of any kind so after about a collective 20 minutes I left. I suggest going here & sitting at the bar (I didn't because I was alone and I don't drink or smoke) because that's who they cater to or in a group. The chicken wings here are really fantastic, and the service is usually pretty quick. It's a great place to go on your lunch break with a few co-workers and have a good quick meal. This past visit I ordered the pecan bleu chicken salad, and it the second time I've ordered it. The salad is fine, but it comes with this sweet/spicy pecan on top, and its basically like a cinnamon / cayenne seasoning..... Not the biggest fan of cinnamon sprinkled all over my salad.... Makes the whole flavor of the salad change. Kinda gross actually. Next time I order it, it will def be NIX the pecans. Yuck! Stick with wings and you're golden! read more

one day last week, i made myself try out three dollar cafe and i loved it. i grabbed the steak n cheese sandwich as i was swayed by the menu's note that it was long available menu item (30 years and counting). this cheesesteak was phenomenal. cheese was great, bread was great, meat and onions and green peppers were great! i loved it. except the steak fries, they were mediocre. ketchup is needed for those guys. First the food is decent and the customers are great to socialize with. But that's it! Customer service doesnt exist. The wait staff in the lounge are either smoking weed with guests on the patio, behind the bar or sitting with the Male customers. The tables near the sofas are filthy and drinks from the bar are poorly made. I've been here several times. Let me explain: the ONLY reason I gave this Three Dollar location 3 stars is because it reeks of cigarette smoke. I mean, like I walked into a 1985 restaurant bad! Apparently there is a cigar bar in the back and they can't afford a good ventilation system. Now, the wings - HANDS DOWN THE BEST EVER!! Seriously! Okay, I don't have to say this, but everybody in Atlanta eats wings a lot. If you asked me what kind of food I think of when I think of Atlanta, it's not shrimp and grits or any of the other Southern foods that everybody thinks about who doesn't live in Atlanta, it's chicken wings! I don't know if it was the day or the person or the cook or the fact that this is a tiny little strip mall thing, but my experience was the wings were not good and it takes a LOT of effort to make a chicken wing that I won't eat and after ordering 10 but eating only three I have to say... My husband and I are visiting Atlanta and we were craving some wings so we decided to try this cafe out and to our surprise based on the other reviews we were completely satisfied! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by our waiter named Chris. We decided to try the extra hot wings and OMG when they say EXTRA HOT they mean it! Walked in and the place was run down and had that old bar smell. Waitress told us to sit anywhere and disappeared. Few minutes later someone else walked in and the waitress told him to sit anywhere and immediately got him a water. Meanwhile she has walked by us several times and said nothing. Then she disappears again only to come back with the guys drink order! Still no acknowledgment of us. We finally just left. It's not like she didn't see us...she told us to sit anywhere. Horrible experience... order 30 wings to go.. got home there were 20 wings. Called back and spoke with the manager who then informed me that i would need to bring all our food back... let him count (not remake my order but send me back home with cold food to feed my family for $40... from a mistake from their kitchen... Last night went to this restaurant with my wife and stepdaughter and we really enjoyed the food. Don was our waiter and he was very helpful and nice to us. The only thing that was disturbing was that my wife ordered some onion rings with her steak and cheese sandwich but the onion rings wasn't cooked all the way. They have another side that's a lounge which you are allowed to smoke inside. So me and the wife will be returning to enjoy that side of the restaurant soon. read more

I arrived at 4:23 to beat the irritating crowds. I ordered a house margarita, and to the surprise of my waitress, a Cuban sandwich accompanied by sweet potato fries. The house drink was surprisingly even and fresh unlike many margaritas in non-Mexican restaurants. The sandwich itself was a comfortable temperature the cheese, carnitas, and bread a beautiful fusion. Though they aimed high, they didn't approach the level of authenticity one could taste in a Cuban restaurant in Miami for example. The meat was much too dried out. I actually sampled some chicken Alfredo from this place that a co-worker purchased. After eating it I felt a little sick but I figured it was just me. Today I placed an order and informed them of my shell fish allergy. Not only did they not accommodate my request they said it's too risky because they cook everything on the same grill and don't wash it off. Not only is this unsanitary but unethical. I will definitely never step foot inside of this establishment. Since I'm giving you one star hopefully you make some changes to how you prepare your food because you could really hurt someone. read more

This place is about a mile away from my apartment, and I come here often when in the mood for wings and watching sports. The wings are the best that you will find in the Smyrna area. There's nothing $3 about this "cafe". The service is lackadaisical and when asked about $10 for $10 with no sides or drinks, I was informed that I wasn't on the south side. Which I find amusing, being that I eat everywhere and rarely venture to the south side of town. I asked for extra sauce on the side since the wings were so dry. All I could taste in the sauce was SALT! The only bright spot was the cold beer. Best blackened grouper sandwich I have ever had in my liffffeeeeeeeeeee. So good. Sooooooo good. I know they've had trouble w their liquor license in the past, but it is really a good place to eat. It's a good neighborhood a dine w friends on a semi regular basis. I always order the grouper, a burger or wings depending on the mood of the day. Everytime me and my family have gone here we have never been disappointed. Food and service is always great! Bar tender was excellent!!!!!! It's not very big, so not recommended for large parties.
