So many layers of flavors) and the blue jay special, which was eggs, bisquit and gravy, and one piece of meat. It was very good also. The portions were a bit small but I also came with a huge appetite. Wished there was a potatoe side (like hash browns or country potatoes) like most breakfast restaurants have with their meals. I think our waitress was new because we had to ask for our coffee and we also watched our order sit on the counter for a few minutes until we finally told someone. But overall it was good. This place had pretty good food. Being vegetarian, I always appreciate businesses going out of their way to had vegetarian options and they were fantastic as well! Everything is so wonderful. I am in love with this place more every time I go in there. Of course I have my standard, Lox and Bagel. But today for Easter she had a Monte Cristo Casserole. We would have sat outside but everything was wet from the rain. I had the smoked gouda grits (kiss my grits) with sausage a side of the chili verde salsa and my husband had the fancy shmancy breakfast sandwich. Everything was fantastic. My grits were out of this world. The smoked gouda was melted and infused into all the grits and everything was super flavorful. The chili verde salsa was the bomb. Coffee was good. Our server was so fun, we had a great time with her. We got the toffee oatmeal cookies which my husband said were incredible. Delicious! Don't miss off the beaten path breakfast nook. The Deviled Eggs are a must-have. We ended up getting two entrees a piece to try everything. Downside: we were across the dining room from the kitchen, but could still hear the chef lecturing multiple of her wait staff , multiple times. While we were dining I saw a staff member walk out and harvest fresh herbs for the kitchen from their garden and I know they also purchase their veggies from a local farm so it's as fresh as it gets here. The food was *kisses fingertips* so tasty and flavorful, with some menu items you don't usually see in these parts. I was full but I couldn't resist going back for one of their chocolate croissants, and I am so glad that I did. The wait staff was attentive even though we were the only folks dining outside that morning and very friendly. Definitely going to go here again- Three Bird Cafe is an excellent addition to the restaurant scene here in Eureka. read more

I'll preface that their food was amazing. In a town full of great locally owned restaurants this place still stands out and is some of the best we've had. I highly recommend checking them out. With that being said, checking them out can be hard. We go to Eureka regularly and have attempted to eat here on 4 separate trips over the last couple years. The first time we pulled in it was a couple hours before they typically close. We were greeted in the parking lot and told they were about to close early due to catering a private event that night. The second time we went we were able to get in and had our only dining experience there. The third time we tried to go we discovered they were closed for the week. The fourth time we were in our car on the way and I checked their Facebook page to discover they had again closed early because they were offering a dinner that night. So my recommendation is check their Facebook page before you plan to go and maybe you'll be lucky enough to catch them when they're open because again, the food is excellent. read more

We just had lunch there yesterday and it was fantastic! The spring menu has some unique features and we tried the apricot w/goat cheese and candied walnuts, delicious! The roast beef sandwich on Italian bread was tender and seasoned wonderfully with a pasta salad. The service was excellent and the outside patio area was decorated with fresh flowers and adorable tables and chairs. I'm definitely going to be a regular customer! Deliciously Amazing locally owned cafe in Eureka Springs! My husband and I shared the Cajun Deviled Eggs with pickled okra to start and my oh my what a special treat!!! I enjoyed a smoked chicken salad sandwich on a house made, flakey, buttery croissant with a side of homemade potato salad. My husband ordered the Cajun Shrimp Po'Boy Sandwich. Their potato salad is unique in that it offered both red and sweet potatoes. Everything was fresh, unique and scrumptious to the last bite!!! read more

Traveled to the area for the trails and ended up finding this lovely place on happy cow. They were packed when we arrived but were friendly and efficient. Food was great and the owner was very kind. They're a local business working to support a lot of other local businesses too, from eggs, honey, coffee, and even photography. great to see.
