First of all, I was received immediately with the utmost courtesy, attention, and thoroughness by Hector, that shop's manager. No, I am not an employee of DND. I am an actual customer, and my name is CHRISTOPHER XAVIER O'CONNOR, of South Amboy.

I brought my car in with a dreaded check engine light on, my turbocharger was failing. The code makes you think you can fix it. Mike told me that we need to be smart about it because the labor cost of removing the turbocharger, repairing it and putting it back it back was over one thousand dollars! On top of that repairing the problem related to the code doesn't guarantee the check engine light won't come back on! It also doesn't mean there might be another problem with the turbocharger. He offered that I can shop for a replacement turbocharger and he would do the same. I found a new OEM turbocharger for a good price and he installed it for me! The car runs great and the turbocharger is functioning like it did before the light came on I own 2 other cars and I'm going to give these guys all my business.

Absolutely outrageous experience. My car broke down near this shop, and they clearly took advantage…read moreof the situation knowing I had limited options after the tow. For a basic alternator replacement and oil change on my 2014 Toyota RAV4, I was charged nearly $1,500 total. Breakdown: * Alternator replacement: $1,100 * Electrical diagnosis: $250 * Oil change: $150 After the repair, I called a Toyota dealership for comparison, and even the dealer quoted pricing that was about $500 less than what I paid here. The pricing felt extremely excessive and predatory, especially for someone stranded with a broken-down car. I strongly recommend getting multiple quotes before authorizing repairs at this shop. I can provide the full receipts and invoice breakdown if needed.

There are times when he does let me know when I should start planning to have work done, but it's seldom. There are times, like today, that I asked he check my front tire because it seemed to be low on air and I had just filled it a few days ago. He checked it, said he didn't see anything in it and also said the back was low, so he filled both. Also informed me my inspection was past due! Oops! Oil change was $30! In and out.
