San Diego is a good place to try some Mexican food and even though it's in a casino food court the three amigos still packs flavor in their items. Tacos are good here and recently I had the California burrito which was very affordable and a good portion size. Not a bad meal after some table games. Service didn't take long and they have a couple options for food like tj dogs as well as churro bites. Plenty of dining area in the food court as well makes this a nice break from the games when hungry. read more

My husband and I always make a point to stop at Three Amigos whenever we visit Barona Casino. Their $2 carne asada tacos are our go-to. These street tacos are loaded with toppings and made fresh right in front of you. It's the perfect pit stop for a quick, tasty bite! read more

This place use to be fast. They had people working up front on tacos busting them out. Now the normal wait time is like 20 minutes at least. Nobody wanna wait 20 mins for some tacos. Went here really quick during a casino sesh. These tacos used to be $1 each and now they're $2 each. They give you a buzzer at the register to let us know our food was ready! Three Amigos - Carne Asada and Pollo Taco - Mexican Near Me - Lakeside, California

I got a carne asada burrito and they should've named the burrito a " extra bean & extra cheese with 3 pieces of dry asada burrito". It was probably one of the worst carne asada burritos I've ever had. Not real Mexican food. The meat was super dry and almost didn't have any. The worker that took my order also took forever to give me my burrito. My burrito was all done and ready to be given to me and the lady cashier was having a conversation with her coworker instead of paying attention and giving me my food that was ready 2 minutes ago. Will never go there again and will totally tell people about this place. read more

This place used to be the bomb. We used to come here all the time because we live close. The food is still good but I have to say I felt like there was a bit of a decline when they completely switched out the workers. There were like 3 or 4 people that I regularly saw and then suddenly they did a complete overhaul. I feel like the food went a bit downhill when the change happened. To make it worse there are one or two people who consistently get my order wrong. One time I took an order to go and didn't realize until I got home that it was completely wrong. That change happened a while back, I think about a year ago, but I still think about it from time to time and it bums me out a bit. Oh well... still a solid place for carne asada fries or a burrito. Ambiance is good for a food court. Always clean. read more

When you're hungry and don't want to go to the buffet or steakhouse, Three Amigos is a great option. You must try their world famous street tacos. They are filling and packed with flavor. The extra grilled onions and and jalapenos are perfect sides for your meal. The California Burrito is pretty good too! Hige and filled with meat, fries, cheese, guacamole and aour cream. Big enough to share. Seriously... They do not have horchata available, only the standard Coke brand sodas. I'll be back for sure when in the area if I don't want crab legs or steak lol. Give this place a try. You can thank me later. read more

Known for their $1 "world famous" street tacos, I suggest pulling an audible at Three Amigos. Instead, go for Chato's breakfast burrito. You're welcome! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/three-amigos-lakeside-2?select=3gTo8omdgh6oDA9iWmM3ag Yes, $1 tacos with either carne asada, pollo asado, carnitas or potatoes sound good, but their diminutive size, compared with a $3.50 Chato's breakfast burrito, just doesn't seem food logical. I mean, c'mon, Chato's bb comes loaded with egg, cheese, skilled-fried potatoes, bacon, ham, green onion, tomato. Oh yeah, if that didn't make your stomach growl, slices of avocado for good measure! This burrito is all that & will keep you filled up while wasting away your life savings on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine. One of the food options in the Barona Casino food court, I have to say Three Amigos is the best option! Cheap prices, bomb ass Mexican food - you can't go wrong. The only negative I can come up with, and it's a small one, is that Three Amigos closes at 2am For the hardcore pulling an all nighter, it would be so awesome to scarf down a Chato's breakfast burrito before collapsing into bed around 4:30 in the morning. Alas, Three Amigos closes 2am and opens at the rather late time of 9am. I'd think a place serving breakfast burritos would open earlier than that, don't you? Regardless, a minor caveat to an otherwise awesome foodie find. Service was good. The cook were quick in preparation of our food. Help yourself to some chiles, green onions or what not while in line. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/three-amigos-lakeside-2?select=qxb_jia0fkjGdIbhOP-unQ https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/three-amigos-lakeside-2?select=tCCkho8XbI_k1FskUrxiVw Hey, you gotta eat! Why not eat hearty and cheap, while you're at it? Three Amigos delivers the goods when it comes to Mexican food and I will, for sure, have a couple more Chato's breakfast burritos when I visit Barona Casino again. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/three-amigos-lakeside-2?select=Ol3oazw6KnFpNJLIpUzzgw Highly recommend! $1 TJ style street tacos. All day. Erryday. You're already a winner and you don't have to wait for Taco Tuesday. We usually frequent the nearby casino buffet, but met up with friends for tacos this time. The Barona Casino food court area has a nice variety of snackable options and Three Amigos is no exception. Friendly, fast service and the food is tasty. Carne, pollo, carnitas, and potaco. Try that hot sauce, the orange one, for some spicy heat. Wifey got a side of sour cream and the portion was surprisingly generous. Thumbs up. Nice feasting on the cheap after hitting it big on the penny slot machines! Or even if you didn't ;) read more

When Barona takes all of my money and I feel like a loser, I come here for the street tacos. You really can't go wrong with $1/ea street tacos. I'm the big winner here! You have the option of ordering carne asada, carnitas or pollo asado. Today I had the opportunity to eat these tacos right away. Usually, my folks bring some back home from the casino but they always order carne asada. You can order nachos for $2 and burritos for $4.50. I think I can eat about 5 tacos because the tacos are real small. I've only eaten the street tacos so I can't comment on other items. They do provide you free grilled green onions, grilled peppers and radishes as well. The carnitas taco tasted the best today, following the carne asada and pollo asado. The carne asada tacos weren't as tasty as I remember, but perhaps it was an off day. Just be sure to save $10 of your gambling $ and come here for your Mexican food fix! read more

9/26/2015 Wow What a great Little Taco Stand. For being inside a food court inside a Indian Casino this was a very pleasant surprise. A very busy part of the food court with some times quite long lines I thought it might be just ok. The lines move very rapid and the assembly-line making Tacos are very good at what they do. The Tacos are only $1.00 each all the time. They have burritos and a few other things also. The Carnitas and Carna Asada tacos were very tasty. The meat was juicy, tender, and very flavorful. Some of the best tasting meat I've had in a long time. The Carnitas were my favorite. And Only A Buck Each. The Burger Stand next door has good shakes too. The Hot Sauces are flavorful also. Most BANG for your BUCK! Street tacos for a dollar. The carne asada is the best IMO. You have to admire nachos that actually have nacho cheese. Well played. Everything is priced low. We got two burritos and it came out to $8. Machaca Burrito $3.50 Chato Burrito + Carne Asada $4.50 Don't forget to add carne to the nachos or any other item. It's only $1. We came here yesterday to grab some dinner. $1 street tacos, cannot beat that. We got the carne asada and the pollo. Meat was very tender and tasty. However, we ordered 6 tacos and they only gave us 5. Boooo! We also ordered the nachos with carne asada. We wanted everything minus olives and beans. What we got was chips, carne asada, and olives. Completely incorrect order. The cheese that they use is also the canned or bagged cheese that is highly processed and incredibly salty. Oh my gosh, SO SALTY. But hey, for the price, you cannot complain. Probably would not be our first choice whenever we come back to Barona. read more

Very disappointed in the service that I've been receiving I went there tonight got a breakfast burrito my whole mouth my teeth was hurting everything I went there the other day to get a some tacos my throat was hurting and I said wow this is crazy every time I go there my mouth is hurting my throat is hurting but they've been doing this for years why do I still go because I feel that I'm American and I should be able to go it's a free country but why can I get a decent meal is another question I've reported it multiple times but for some reason it still happens. It seems like it's personal but I know not one of these people that work there these cooks are something else you have to watch them they need to put fresh gloves on when they're in front where they're about to touch the food someone needs to go through that hole system their onions cheese meat Joseph I think is the food specialist I just don't understand why it won't stop when you've had complaints about it read more

After realizing that there was going to be a long wait for the buffet (2.5 hours), I decided to take matters into my own hand. I came to the food court, looked around, and Three Amigos caught my eye. The tacos ($1 each!), burritos/nachos ($3-4), and other selections and reasonable prices. I was immediately drawn to the breakfast burrito, which was $3.50 for a ton of stuff. I went for it and boy am I glad I did. Having moved out of San Diego the last 5 months, I wanted my Mexican fix and while my expectations were low for Three Amigos as it didn't look very hole-in-the-wall-y, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything in the burrito was great and the cheese was perfect enough to hold it all together. To top it off, they have delicious hot sauces and salsas to complete your experience. Next time, I'm going to be much more apt to coming here for a quick burrito before waiting for the buffet. Don't get it twisted though, I'm still going to get the buffet. read more

I give it 5 stars because of the price, the tacos are good but they're not GREAT. You have to realize you're eating at a casino and the tacos are a dollar. I will stay they are filling and the line can get long but it moves relatively quick. The cashier is always helpful and the tacos are made to order. It can get a little crazy on the weekend with open seating but if you look long enough something will open up. read more

My friend have been raving about the street tacos at this place, and they are only a dollar each - no tax! A bit on the small side but it was compensated with how delicious they were and good flavor! The have 4 options - carne asada, pollo, pork and potato. Yeah... potato! I loved them all! All the meats tasted good. Well cooked and tender. Potato was like a un-fried hash brown thrown into a taco. They load it up with guac, and salsa, but all I notice was the generous helping of guac they put on top. And they have little show where they throw the sauces slightly in the air with their spoon and catch it perfectly in the taco. Watch out though - the green sauces they have on the side are spicy! Overall, totally recommend! And it's also nice that they have a 50 cent gelato place right next to it for a nice dessert to finish off your meal! read more

Three Amigos is one of Barona's more "fast casual" options serving tacos and burritos. To my family, it's a quick and cheap option for munchies while waiting at least 2 hours for a table at the Seasons Fresh Buffet. Should you eat here chairs are available. There's little room in the tables themselves but it's enough to eat and rest your legs. As many people have mentioned, they're known for their $1 street tacos. My usual order is a carne asada and carnitas taco, though a pollo asada (chicken) and potato option is also offered. - The meats themselves are decently seasoned and the carnitas meat is quite soft. - The tacos themselves have a good amount of guacamole, at least a dollop. It's enough to actually worry about getting your clothes dirty if you spill. Decent amount of onions. - No self-service at the condiment bar. - The pepper is actually hot. If you need a fast and cheap dining option after a long day at the slots/tables or need to pass the time if you haven't eaten while waiting for a better option this is a good option. read more

Few things in life bring as much joy as one dollar tacos. Carne asada, carnitas, chicken, and potatoes are the options given to you for the filling. If you want guacamole, they will slap on a generous helping of it. You also have available grilled green onions and grilled jalapenos that you can add for free. All this, I would have never expected to find in a casino. No price gouging here. It follows along the whole theme that Barona has established to prioritize the player's happiness. At least you can find some solace in the fact that if you lose almost all your money gambling, you can at least afford a decent meal with a few bucks. read more

No contest. Street tacos are the main attraction here. They have carne, pollo, and carnitas for meat. Con todo is guacamole, chipotle salsa, cilantro, chopped onion and a lime wedge. Potatoes can be substituted for meat. But this line gets long, especially at night! Barona is infamous for these cheap delicious street tacos. I get the breakfast burrito, no guac and potatoes well done. Largest source of cheap protein in East County. That burrito is packed with bacon, ham, cheese and half a carton of eggs! Less than $4, you can't go wrong. Sometimes, i just need a salad. So I get the surf and turf chopped Mexican salad. You heard me! There's AT LEAST 7 oz. of steak in that salad, and they put in like 6 10/16 count shrimp on top! You will never be so stuffed from a salad in your life, sans Soup Plantation. I've turned celebrity at times getting that salad because several people see me walking away with 2.5 lbs. of salad in a clam shell bigger than your ass. It's a little spicy. Once in a while, I get a quesadilla. Not on the menu people, but nonetheless they hook it up. I like carne, onion and black olives. If you get guac or crema they might charge you more, but otherwise its fair game. You've never seen so much steak in a tortilla. It's under $5 too. And when I come up the hill from the gym, I'll swing by and get just a cup of their Mexican rice to replenish the carbohydrate deficit I'm incurring. "A cup" is misleading because it's a 16 oz. container of rice for a buck! The most savory, well made side of rice anywhere in the West. But the go-to that is king, hands down trumps all burritos in existence... The Three Amigos Burrito. I always skip beans and substitute potatoes well done, and go for carne asada (notice a trend?). Their sauce is yet another novelty I'm suspecting has trace amounts of heroine thrown into it to make it even more addicting. Nothing, NOTHING comes remotely close to this magic formula in all of California. It is perfect tasting, perfect filling, perfectly healthy, perfect price, perfectly convenient, perfectly everything. I can eat this, run 5 miles, 3 hours later, no issues. If you come to this place and are somehow displeased, get committed because nothing in this life will ever bring you happiness. Or you just blew all your inheritance at Black Jack. read more

Love the meat! They cook, then cut it into small pieces right in front of you. It's perfectly burnt on the outside, juicy on the inside. I ordered the carne asada burrito for $4.50 and it was really fulfilling. You can also get a street taco for $1 each (4 different options), which they make in front of you.
