THIS SAME PROBLEM has happened to me so many times but I would skip over it but this time is was so BAD that I had to say something... Ordered 6 street tacos and cook over lapped the tortillas & pit a bunch of meat on top of all the over lapped tortillas , so the steam made them Soggy!! Versus them making me 6 individual street tacos like I ordered!! Charged me almost $20.00 dollars and I had no tacos cause the corn shells was broke up & soggy. My family lives close so we always used this location!! Regular customers, I have boys so they like taco shop food, this location was just convenient for me personally! You'll find the screen door to this family-owned, almost hole-in-the-wall, right next to the laundromat and the opposite end of the tiny strip from 7-Eleven. Don't let the size fool you! As the saying goes, "Great things come in small packages." My husband had a half order of the carne asada nachos with the "green" salsa. Yes, that's the one with some major kick. He loved the whole thing! My mom was impressed with her grilled chicken burrito. She has enough food for a few days! I had the chicken enchiladas..just thinking about them is making me drool again. The sauce was perfection - just the right amount of heat and the seasoning was balanced. The only thing I would change is to leave off the lettuce - next time for sure. I had a pretty good plate of "huevos a la mexicana" from this taco shop. It was a combo plate which came with the scramble, the rice, the beans, and with a small side of shredded lettuce and onions with some warm corn tortillas for $8 and some change. The scramble would of been much better if it were not so heavy on the tomatoes. It either needed another egg or less tomato. Either way would of worked. It was good but much better after I picked out about half of the tomatoes, especially when I made my breakfast tacos with the corn tortillas. The rice was was good. It was cooked well to a fluffy consistency, but could of used some seasoning. The refried beans were nice and had a good creamy texture with pieces of whole beans here and there. They had a good robust flavor. They offer a good salsa bar with a good mix of hot sauces. The lady behind the counter and the one who made my meal was very nice. I thought this place was just okay. Very friendly service. Pricewise, I was not happy that they charged like $1.20 to add cheese to a bean burrito, making it more expensive than a bean and cheese burrito at a similar taco shop. Who does that? Nobody else has just a bean burrito and doesn't include cheese. It wasn't even that great. Already overpriced. The chicken rolled tacos were very good, but I would just say they were standard for a taco shop. Nothing to write home about. Disappointed overall. read more

I liked this place. I spontaneously ordered some carne asada fries and for the price, it was reasonably cheap and the portions were humongous. So much so, that it weighed the plate down. The food also came hot, the carne asada was flavorful, and they included sauces, utensils, and napkins. From experience, a lot of Mexican food restaurants do not provide this for delivery orders unless I've specifically asked for them. Like I understand why restaurants wouldn't include the sauces, but common sense would tell you that people don't eat carne asada fries with their hands and don't use napkins afterwards lol. read more

The first time I stopped by the place was closed even though it showed open hours online. The 2nd time I went the lady at the register had no customer service& was rude, she also kept watching tv when I was placing my order super unprofessional. I have ordered 3 different plates from here and each time I say the same thing. The food is okay. The staff is very nice and friendly and you get your food quickly with little to no wait time and you do get a lot of food, but the flavor of the food is just okay. I tried the Carne Asada nachos which is quite large and heavy. You will not be hungry if you finish this and plenty to share with 2 people. But the taste is just okay. Nothing great but nothing bad either. The rolled tacos were more tortilla than meat and the burrito was big and filling, but its the same care asada used in the nachos, so it was just okay. If you need a mexican food fix and it going to satisfy your craving and you are close by, then give this place a shot. read more

Upon reading reviews from other Yelpers, I popped in here the other day to give it a go. I ordered rolled tacos which were smallish and while good, nothing special. I ordered an adobada taco which was huge but salty with to much pico de Gallo mixed in to really know what I was eating. The grilled pollo taco was also large but, again, salty and over run with what I would call a runny pico that was not as fresco as I would like. The Machaca Burrito was a perfect version, with just the right amount of onion, peppers, meat and egg! Really good. The tacos that I ordered were on the recommendation of the guy ringing me up so, I'm not sure what the carne or carnitas (which I favor) are like. Over all, if you don't mind food on the salty side and plenty of it, this is your place. Outside of the Machaca, nothing blew me away. But then, it didn't deter me from trying something different next time. read more

Very good. Ive been here a few times now and tried a few items along with friends. Overall, excellent food with some room to improve. Namely, their fries need work. They are always soggy regardless of what dish you buy. California Burrito? Soggy fries. Carne Asada Fries? Soggy. But the beef they use is good and tender unlike some places who give you tough overcooked meat that tastes more like cooked boots than beef. Thank you for not overcooking it and not using super cheap cuts. Their salsa's are also boring. Green and red have little distinction although they are both "ok." Green can use more zest (acid) and red need more depth (stronger flavor). I didnt knock them for this because I know they usually have a salsa bar so odds are they probably have a salsa I like but due to covid they closed it down for now. Definitely try their Chamption Burrito. Its awesome (basically a giant California burrito). Just be warned that they are not messing around so come hungry if you get that monster. read more

Tried the Carne asada fries, which is a must for me when trying a new place. The meat was cooked well with perfect seasoning. The guacamole was the perfect consistency with not a lot of chunky bits. The fries where still relatively crispy when I got home which was nice. The spicy red and green sauces were perfect for me. My wife can't handle it though, so I hope the mild ones are more her level.
