I went in to get my eyebrows cleaned up. The woman who did them nearly took them off. I am devasted, I just wanted to get my eyebrows cleaned up before my vacation. I ended up sobbing in the car after. The woman was somewhat apologetic but they did not listen to what I wanted. Never coming back here again. read more

The threading ladies were wearing gloves which I appreciste BUT they were NOT changing them in between customers and were handling cash and the atm machine and answering the phone with the same pair which is very unsanitary. After touching a clients face they didnt change the gloves and just kept going to the next customer. Very bad job on that. Also didn't use anything disposable. read more

Heck yes there is finally a threading place in the area! I went here after my coworker had a good experience getting her brows and upper lip done. I haven't had my eyebrows touched by a professional in a good 7 years, I normally just do it myself and I do my best but it was time for an eyebrow intervention. There was currently a $10 special on eyebrows, they normally cost $12. After much painless threading, she trimmed the top of my brows. She also pointed out that my eyebrows aren't shaped the same because of over plucking on my part on the bottom of my right brow and my accidental wax spillage up top. Grrreat thanks for mentioning my skills. Okay so in the end she did such a good job that I will be back in a few weeks and as promised I will not be over plucking or waxing my own brows anymore. read more

Yikes!!! I am missing a piece of my eye brow!?! Thank goodness I am never without my trusty brow liner. Man.. I am so bummed!! I was really looking forward to finally finding a threading place close by. I miss my threading lady in San Jose. Not only is a piece of my brow bare, they also don't look even. Now, how long does it take before this grows out..... I guess I'd better replenish my brow filler. Well..... As I am desperate to find a threading place. I have been coming here for few years now and my favorite person with eyebrows is Uzma. They all do a great job with threading but Uzma is an expert at making your eyebrows on point. I have tried other threading places which were closer to my area but I would be disappointed afterwards. But Uzma always makes my eyes brows the way I want it without me having to tell her. The lady's there are always so sweet. And I trust BOTH of them with my brows. I used to prefer waxing cause I thought it was easier but they're super quick and they can get the hair even before it's fully grown. It doesn't hurt much but you are getting your hair pulled out! Prior to purchasing this groupon I didn't really have an opinion on threading. I don't like change much and therefor have always felt safe with what I was accustomed to i.e waxing. Anyway, my water was out of town for the Holidays and my eyebrows were a mess. The price of the groupon caught my attention and figured maybe it was worth a try... I love this place! It took half the time and it's half the price of waxing. I did my whole face and it it took 15 minutes for $30. Not bad! There were some stray hairs, but I don't think it's really possible to get EVERY single one. It's amazing how fast it goes. I was really happy with the outcome and will be back! read more

I just gave this place a try today and well to say the least, I'm pissed off. I walked in and was (somewhat) greeted by a lady (who was threading so I understood), who didn't really tell me anything until I was confused and walked over to sign in to a waitlist (because there was a sign that said so...at which point she told me to just have a seat). The place was pretty empty as it was a work day AND it was lunch time (a little after noon). The place was nice and had your typical Indian "desi" style handbags and jewelry on display. I waited just a few minutes, until the lady who was being worked on was done, and Kaur called asked me what I was getting done today. I told her I wanted just brows but I wanted them natural, pointing out that I didn't want the beginning of the brows to be touched or altered at all. I told her I did want a natural arch though and she could go ahead with that. She confirmed we were then doing a "clean up", to which I agreed. We proceeded and 5 minutes later I was handed a mirror and what do you know?!...my directions to not touch the front were not followed. Now I have "South Asian/desi" style brows, instead of a very natural and full brow (think of what you normally see during NY Fashion Week) as I anticipated having. I don't have anything against desi style brows BUT that is NOT what I had asked for! I love my brows and have a natural shape, most of which I had wished to retain. I have gotten my brows threaded before down in LA, and the lady there (who is also Indian btw) did it just as I requested and so beautifully so I know that it is totally possibly. I do not know where we misunderstood each other but I am really disappointed...I don't know if I would be willing to give this place another chance after such a big mishap. read more
