We greatly appreciate the explanation with the appointment system and the willingness to get my hubs back on the schedule for the massage he signed up for. My hubs was hesitant to come back after his last session and especially after my review (he didn't know I was writing) but Elena & Jennifer helped him feel at ease of coming back and making it extremely flexible to rebook an appointment to come back in. Hubs went back to get the much needed deep pressure massage from Jennifer at The Spa Simply Skin. Both Elena and Jennifer were present to greet him. The ambiance of the room was serene as it was before. He keeps telling me about the nice Buddha in the massage room. Jennifer asked if the headrest area was ok was comfortable this time before proceeding. This time she asked about the massage pressure and if it was firm enough. She worked on getting his knots out which was greatly needed. She used a tool on his hands up/down his forearm that he said made him feel really good. He does repetitive work with his hands (handy electrician) and this helped relieve tension. I appreciate and want to thank both Elena and Jennifer for ensuring my husband was comfortable and ensuring he was content with the massage service that you offer. When making the appointment, I explained I was new to getting facials and was so excited to start the process, and even confirmed the appointment 3 times in the last week, once over the phone and twice through the texting confirmation. The morning of my appointment they canceled on me. I understand things happen, however if I were to cancel day of I would be charged an "inconvenience fee" but if they decide to cancel it's just "I apologize for the inconvenience." Due to the limited hours they are open I started work early this morning and have had child care secured for weeks just so I can make it, only to see they have canceled my appointment. What a disappointment, I will not be rebooking and will find somewhere else that will hopefully value my time. What a waste of time, energy and effort on my part. Do better, or have backup providers. Truly a disappointing experience.

I'm honestly so glad it did! From the moment I walked in, the whole experience was incredibly relaxing. The bed had red light therapy, which was really cool, and everything was so comfortable. Parisa was amazing. She was patient, took her time, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire treatment. I actually fell asleep, and if I fall asleep somewhere, that's basically the highest compliment I can give She was also genuinely cool and easy to talk to. At the end, I tried to tip her, and she politely refused . That little moment actually stuck with me. I finally tried the lash and brow tinting and I am happy to say, and not at all surpised, that my eyes are popping!! I can't use eye make-up because of having Multiple/ Hyper Chemical Sensitivity and have been hesitant to try tinting for that reason. Super glad I finally decided to go for it; it was such an easy process and so relaxing! My eyes and skin did not have any adverse reaction whatsoever. Two weeks later and my lashes and brows still look great! Definitely adding these two services to my regular list! You gotta let your lashes grow back out and then not do much to them because you want them to not be damaged in the process, so major struggle. I had never gotten a lash lift previously, but her pictures were so good, so I decided to just take the chance. As a side note, I have pretty long lashes and they're a medium/dark brown already but more on the straight side. It's in a super cute location, quick to get their off of Folsom- easy parking. It smelled amazing when I walked in, like a field of lavender lol! So anyways back to what's important. She walked me through the entire process- explained each step and we went for it. She was so personable and friendly and made the process so enjoyable. And for the best part, I genuinely love my lashes! The only thing i would have changed was going darker but of course I was too nervous because I didn't know if they would look crazy! But they look amazing. Perfect curl, perfect length- natural looking but long! Highly recommend you go try it out if you're looking from transitioning to natural from extensions!
