Had lash extensions for 7 entire years & I finally decided to jump ship. So Im not going to lie the first couple of months are rough. You gotta let your lashes grow back out and then not do much to them because you want them to not be damaged in the process, so major struggle. I had never gotten a lash lift previously, but her pictures were so good, so I decided to just take the chance. As a side note, I have pretty long lashes and they're a medium/dark brown already but more on the straight side. It's in a super cute location, quick to get their off of Folsom- easy parking. It smelled amazing when I walked in, like a field of lavender lol! So anyways back to what's important. She walked me through the entire process- explained each step and we went for it. She was so personable and friendly and made the process so enjoyable. And for the best part, I genuinely love my lashes! The only thing i would have changed was going darker but of course I was too nervous because I didn't know if they would look crazy! But they look amazing. I almost cancel my appointment here due to the fact that she is taking forever to respond prior my appointment but I told myself to be patient and just give it a try and see if she is really a good artist! Hidden gem in Folsom area! I'm in love with my new eyebrows! She definitely did a great job and exactly how I want it! I found her through Yelp because what can I say I am a yelper and people leave true reviews here and documented their true experience . I thought her work is really amazing. I would say it is on the pricey side compare to other places I researched but hey if you are going to do something on your face it better be worth it no matter what the price is. Go somewhere that is clean and with evidence of great work. She really did a great job looks natural. I love how she outlined and measure everything in the beginning. Every detail is great. My first time getting my eyebrow done so it is painful but tolerable! I Can't wait for another session and I will update my review once I am done with my touch up. For now so far so good! Emma was so professional and sweet. Her cute little office was very clean which is what I look at first. She was very thorough and explained everything well. She shows you the shape, thickness and all that jazz before she starts and makes every change you deem necessary and then starts. Microblading does hurt! She does put lidocaine before hand, but you can still feel the tiny cuts. The second pass is so much better. You can barely feel anything. My brows are healing right now and looking great. Emma is an eyelash goddess! After trying eyelash extensions that were needing to be filled almost every week, I needed a change. Extensions didn't look right, feel right, and were getting expensive. I found Emma on Instagram using #folsomlashes as I am new to the Sacramento area from the Bay Area and didn't know any local lash artist. The work on her insta was gorgeous from lashes to facials to microblading. She posted that she did an all natural lash lift which I had me at hello as I've recently tried going a more natural route with my skincare and beauty. I was initially bummed because I knew lash lifts were super expensive as they normally run $150-200 in the Bay Area depending where you go. I checked out her website anyways. I was literally jumping for joy when I saw her price for the lash lift! I texted her because at the time I was commuting for work and needed a weekend appointment.
