I booked Anna to do my makeup for my upcoming wedding this summer. I just had my trial with her…read morethis past Saturday and HAD to write a glowing review: first of all, Anna is incredibly talented with makeup... it's like, scary how good she is. I had tried another makeup artist for a trial, and after a slightly lukewarm experience, I reached out to Anna to give her a try... I was NOT disappointed. Secondly, during my trial she was so friendly and easy to talk to, and she really paid attention to my needs and requests. She also took the time to show me lots of different options for all sorts of things (eyeshadow, blush, lip color etc etc) which I really appreciated. She also took photos (before/after) and copious notes so that we could successfully recreate my look for my big day. I will be getting married in Santa Rosa, and traveled from the Bay Area to have my trial-- I was skeptical if it was going to be worth the drive but IT WAS SO WORTH IT. I didn't want to wash my face at the end of the night, I felt so pretty! Bravo Anna, can't wait to have you be a part of our big day. Quick note: Just a heads up, my makeup trial went for about 2.5 hours, which I did not anticipate. It was TOTALLY fine, but just make sure to allow for ample time as she definitely gives you a lot of attention--she does not need that long for a regular makeup application, the trial just includes a lot of actual consultation which I really appreciated.

i've been going back to Oanh for years now. she has over 20 years experience. The reason I went to…read moreher first is because I always wanted my lip tattooed with a pretty light pink lipstick and my friend said she had no pain from it. didn't believe it I had no pain then she did my eyebrows then she also did my eyeliner and I get so many compliments on the ombre eyeliner she did. she's really good. She gives a very natural look. Today was the first day I went to her for my lashes because I'm going to LA tomorrow so I wanted them very long. So they would really pop and then when I go back to her in two weeks, we're gonna go shorter and more natural. I love that she listens and wants to make all the customers very happy. it was very relaxing for me. I actually fell asleep. she's a very sweet person also. I get stopped all the time and I use. I highly recommend her to everyone. She makes herself available also which is nice. i'm leaving some before and after pictures here where you can see my lashes are a little glam today, but also you can see my permanent lip tattoo after four weeks and you might even be able to see a little bit of my eyeliner eyebrows. I feel like it gives me a little bit more useful look I definitely don't look so tired now.

Every single one of my bridesmaids was thrilled with their final look -- they simply showed a photo of what they wanted, and the team nailed it perfectly, every time. My makeup was elegant and timeless, and my hair held beautifully all day and night, through every hug, dance, and happy tear. The entire experience was seamless, professional, and joyful. I absolutely love my new brows!…read more I went to Shelby after having my brows done by a couple of different artists, and unfortunately, I ended up unhappy with the results. I went through six laser removal sessions to get rid of my previous tattooed brows. After that experience, I knew I needed to find someone I could completely trust--so I did a lot of research. That's when I found Shelby's Instagram and Yelp reviews. I followed her work for a while and was so impressed by her attention to detail and beautiful results. I knew she was the one I wanted to go to. I trusted her after seeing the transformations she had done on other clients. Shelby was able to correct the shape of my uneven brows and even cover up the yellow discoloration left behind from the laser sessions. I am beyond happy with how they turned out!

I had been…read morewanting my brow shape to be enhanced for quite some time, but because it's permanent makeup on my face..... I wanted it to be done right! This is not an ink option that I would take lightly. Shelby gets high praise because she not only enhanced my brows a hundred percent with shape, coloring, procedures and zero pain, but she boosted my confidence to the next level. I would recommend this type of permanent makeup to anyone that doesn't feel completely fabulous with their own skin. Not to mention, Shelby offers much more than just brows. She can create beauty that saves you time, effort, and makes you look stylish to start your day. I may still need to style my hair and decide on what type of makeup to put on, but with my brows? I can literally roll out of bed looking amazing. Shelby did that! And she can do that for you. I am quite the pessimist with skin services and I always judge based on quality of care and service, so if you don't take anything from my review, know that it's honest feedback from a girl that wants minimal effort to leave the house looking great. Also, Shelby is very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable in a safe modern atmosphere. Thank you for reading! As my girlfriend would say, "now you have that Big Brow Energy or BBE"

Olga arrived at my hotel the morning of the wedding and set up her makeup station, complete with lighting. I asked Olga for a natural wedding makeup look, showed her a few inspiration photos at her request, and left the rest to her. Over for next hour and a half we sipped coffee and enjoyed laughs while she worked her magic. Olga has such a sweet and relaxed demeanor which is such a gift to be around, particularly on your wedding day. Olga used high end skin and makeup products which felt light and soft on my skin and lasted all day! I will never forget seeing myself with the completed hair and makeup for the first time - it was the most beautiful I have ever felt. Olga helped to make my wedding an absolute dream. I knew she would do a wonderful job, and I was not disappointed. They looked absolutely fabulous! I am a pain-in-the-butt client with my impossible standards and little tolerance for mistakes (a major factor in my having done my own makeup for my wedding), but Olga's work blew me away. She brought out their natural beauty and let them shine. I've never hired a non-Asian person for my makeup or that of any of my Asian talent or anyone for whom I've needed makeup. I've just not had great experiences with non-Asian makeup artists for Asian faces. But Olga did truly a masterful job. And most importantly I revived reports from my husband and his mother and grandmother that she was incredibly kind, professional, and lovely. I believe them seeing as how organized and good at communication she was leading up to the wedding. I highly recommend Olga.
