To make matters worse, she operated ILLEGALLY without proper permits, demonstrated a lack of accountability, and falsely claimed professional certifications. I had the worst experience imaginable with Suki Oh at Permanent Makeup by Sabrina. I trusted her to perform a microblading procedure, clearly explaining that I wanted natural-looking eyebrows with strokes following my natural hair. I emphasized that I have thick eyebrows and didn't want them overdone or reshaped. Instead, Suki completely ignored my instructions. She shaved off half of my natural eyebrows and tattooed deep, over-saturated, and painful marks into my skin, creating an unnatural shape that does not align with my natural eyebrow growth. She also added a new "tail" to my eyebrows, which forces me to either shave off part of my natural brows permanently or endure mismatched, unnatural-looking eyebrows. She botched my face, and this was exactly what I feared might happen when considering microblading. To make matters worse, when I reached out to her to fix the problem, she told me she was out of the country on vacation indefinitely and didn't know when she'd be back. She offered no alternative solution, no recommendations for other professionals to help, and no refund. Ignoring a distressed client after tattooing their face is unprofessional and unacceptable. I have since consulted with a dozen other permanent makeup professionals in my area. All of them agreed that Suki's work was botched--creating dark, splotchy marks and a shape I never asked for--and needed immediate correction. I've now had to endure painful and expensive saline removal treatments to undo the damage she caused. Even more troubling is that Suki performed this service without the proper permitting required by the El Dorado County Environmental Management Department, meaning she was operating illegally at the time of my procedure. This not only violates health and safety regulations but also underscores the lack of professionalism and care she demonstrated throughout this process. Suki's lack of accountability doesn't end there. She allowed other people in the room during my procedure without informing me in advance, which was distracting and unprofessional. She also charged extra at the end for an obligatory aftercare item that was not disclosed upfront. Even more concerning, her website and Yelp profile falsely claim she is "Board Certified by the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals," but when I contacted the organization, they said she is not a member. This experience has caused me emotional distress, financial loss, and permanent changes to my face that I never wanted. Suki's complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and skill, combined with her illegal operation, make me warn others to stay far away from her services. If you value your face and your peace of mind, go to someone else.
