That said, I honestly didn't think I would ever find a spot here in Florida that would come close to my favorite California spots. I found my place! Rupa was able to accommodate me on a very short notice even though I was in a hurry. And not only did she do an excellent job but we ended up having great conversation as well. Ok, this is Lighthouse Pointe/Pompano Beach's best kept secret. Don't let the plaza fool you. Stepping into this boutique spa is like stepping into a peaceful island. I am finicky about my brows, so I was very nervous to have a new person style them. I offered to show her a pic of what I wanted. She didn't need it. I hope she wasn't offended that I asked. This place is great. I was really nervous about getting my eyebrows threaded for the first time and rupa put me at ease. I had a wait as she was running over but the threading barely took any time, 15 minutes max. I broke out a little the first time- but I have very sensitive skin. I came back a 2nd time a month later and was careful not to touch the area(despite the temptation.. So smooth! Lol) and haven't had any issue this time. I was very happy with my first visit. I made an appt and arrived 15 minutes early and I was seen right away. Sam did exactly what I requested which was just to clean my eyebrows because I'm trying to let them fill in. I've been going to the same person for the past 12 years and decided to try someone new. I was very nervous that I would walk out with very thin eyebrows but I was pleasantly surprised. I want to start by saying that I am unable to wax my eyebrows because my skin is too sensitive and seems to always scab after doing it. So... for the longest time I settled on saving the money and tweezing my own brows, but they never really looked that great. So I decided to give threading a try. I actually found Rupa at Threading and More through Groupon. After reading her reviews I scheduled an appointment for an eyebrow threading with tint and I am SO happy I did! My brows had never looked so good! I've been back to visit Rupa multiple times and have been always been satisfied with the outcome. The tint really enhances the look of my brows after threading, however, it only lasts a few days so I can only justify spending the extra money on the tinting if I have a special occasion. I trust Rupa so much that I actually had her do my brows a few days before my wedding in July. They looked fabulous! Her prices are also very reasonable which is always a plus.
