Honey was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to educate me about my nails and explain the different services they offer, which I genuinely appreciated. My technician, Tia, started my appointment right on time. She was quiet but checked in with me to make sure she understood what I wanted. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. She made a great first impression, and if I were to return, I would specifically request an appointment with her.

I was a faithful customer for the past 4 years. It wasn't until recently that I had to discontinue going to the Thread Salon. That was just because I moved to another state. I went to the salon for eyebrow threading, tinting and waxing. In June of 2018, I bit the bullet and decided to try the micro-blading. It was the best decision I have ever made. Sejal was very gentle and we talked through the entire process to ensure that I received the look I wanted. If I had to do it all over again, I would make the same decision. The salon is always clean and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this shop to all of my friends. read more

Dude this place is soooo clean. My best friend dragged me here so she can get prettified and I ended getting work done too. My best friend is always raving about this place and now I can finally see why. The people here were so sweet and we were outta there in minutes. Because the service was so nice I did not know how much she was going to sky rocket the price. But, when it time to pay the bill....WHAT? Dirt cheap? I had no idea everything here was going to be so cheap. This place is amazing. I don't even live in Murphy and I am now a regular. read more

Honestly I was skeptical about this place after reading the last review review but I really needed to go to the salon for my birthday and this was the closest place after work. I went in and the entire staff was very welcoming and very helpful. I explained to the ladies that I have very sensitive skin and what exactly what I was looking for. The ladies gave me exactly what I wanted! It was so nerve wrecking to put my looks into the hands of a stranger the for my special day, but it was all worth it. Love this threading salon super sweet and friendly. I have been coming here for a few years now. The owner is beyond professional and makes you feel very comfortable and goes above and beyond so you get the best service. If any issues arise she will to what it takes to resolve immediately. I have followed Sejal around from salon to salon and now that she has her own I suggest everyone to go there and i can easily say that I have never received better service! Three weeks later, my nails are still growing back thin and weak, and I ended up cutting all of them because of the damage. I also asked the owner to explain the manicure service and what it included. After reviewing it, I realized the nail tech skipped steps such as lotion and the hand massage. Even after the owner brought it to her attention, she still refused to complete the service properly. As someone who lives only two minutes away, I really wanted to support this business, but I no longer feel valued or respected as an African American customer. I'll be taking my business elsewhere where professionalism, customer care, and respect are a priority.
