One of my favorite stores inside this mall is La Catrina Mexican Shop. They also have a candy store with piñata and other goodies as well as a free play area for toddlers and kiddos with a few mats and a mini slide. Other stores that are still open for business are an event hall, barber shop, two to three food spots in the food court area, a play area for kiddos that you pay for, clothing stores and a few others. The only downside is it appears to get a tad warm but definitely nothing in comparison to the heat outside the few times I've visited, but other than that, it's nice to walk around, get your steps in, shop around etc. A lot of people tend to go here to do a few laps whether it's walking or power walking, and I've also walked around with my stroller. The hallway to the restrooms looks like something from a horror movie, but other than at least the restrooms are functional.Oh and their elevator hasn't been working for a while now. I'm not sure if it's been fixed but just a heads up. So ,I highly recommend parking by the movie theater.

I was planning an outing to the Military Museum of Fort Worth so I decided to come check out Ridgmar Mall. I walked all of the first and second floor of this mall on a Wednesday in April of 2026. Sadly, the museum is no longer in Ridgmar, there's a sign posted at their former location. I can tell this was once a thriving mall. I wish that it still was. The food court has 2 restaurants open. I saw 3 or 4 salons and at least 3 clothing boutiques open for business. And thankfully LensCrafters and JCPenney are in here still going strong. If you're looking into driving big rigs they have a school in here. Online shopping- BOO to you! While I was there I saw approximately 14 other people not counting employees. I always love coming here to experience the unique shopping and dining options. The service is a hit or miss depending on the restauraunt. I love that they have places to sit throughout the shopping center and decorate for the different holidays/seasons. Everything I said about this place in my previous review, still rings true but they do have a lot of clothing that older women find appealing. So we found a beautiful smock blouse, long and floaty in a nice bright red and we brought it up to the counter. It was $160 plus with tax and all the girl did was wad up in a ball and stuff in a bag , but she even had to ask if we wanted a bag. Really these people don't care about what they're selling behind the counter I was appalled Do we want a bag? Did you think we were gonna wear it out? I love this little shopping area, they have almost everything you can need. They have gyms, movie…read moretheater , lots of different restaurants, coffee shops and apartments. The thing I associate the most with west 7 is their bars and night life. A lot of these places are open during the day as a brunch/restaurant but I prefer the bar scene at night. It can be dangerous is you go to certain places as it can get rough but if you just walk away and dont start trouble you will be fine. At night there are a lot of people here and it can get very dirty with lots of trash due to there being a lot of food trucks in the area. You can find tacos, empanadas, pizza, sandwiches and even BBQ being sold at night out here in the streets. Parking is free if you purchase something from some of the restaurants there but that is not always the case. Free street parking can be found you just have to look or you can pay for staying in the garage. A couple of blooks have 'pay to work' with parking meters but they usually offer you 2 free hours. I would suggest parking as far away and then walking to west 7 at night because if you park on the street after 10pm they will tow your car. I seen it happen multiple times where people pay and park but dont read that it expires at 10pm and right on the dot the tow trucks come out and take peoples car. Be careful where you park and dont start any trouble.
