There was even one time that I needed something really small and it was such a small purchase amount (I believe some specific black tape) that one of the staff actually offered to give me their personal roll of tape to keep. I insisted on paying however. For me, this location has always been exactly the type of hardware store every other hardware store should be, like heaven's hardware.
