I opened the door a little to poke my head in, and Thom welcomed me inside. It felt really good, like I was seen. Nice selection of jerky and dried fruits. I can vouch for the flavors of the Ghost Garlic, Cherry Bomb, and Pineapple Teriyaki. The cherry bomb in particular had a really nice flavor and just the right amount of heat for spice lovers. The Ghost was a little dry even for jerky, and the cherry bomb was saucey for jerky. Best beef jerky I've ever had. I mean, ridiculous flavor and freshness. Thom is super nice and happy to discuss his jerky making process and ingredients. I was lucky enough to stop in when he was just finishing a batch so he offered a sample. I believe it was Cherry Bomb and it was unreal. This is the best jerky ai have ever had ever! I cant wait untill they open full time in april. My favorite flavors are the pinapple teriyaki and sunday roast. They have many unique flavors. They even have a coffee chocolate one! I have yet to be brave enough to try. That and i cant have caffeine after 12... but im sure its good! I also like their new flavor ipa garlic. A little bit more pricy at 5.99 an oz but thats because of the beer. but most of the prices range from 1.99 an oz to 3.99 an oz. read more

It's uncommon to have a stand-alone jerkey store, and Thom has about 35-ish different varieties. It's like a Baskin Robbins of meat! He's a kind owner and let us try some flavors before purchasing... and then let us try some stuff he'd been working on! There are also tables to sit down and perhaps bring a board game.
