I used them for the first time a few weeks ago as my regular trophy place was closed for the easter holiday. I will continue to use them in the future. The work that they did for me on short notice was outstanding. The customer service was great, even though they were extremely busy they made the time for me and went above and beyond the call of duty. The owner Emil helped me and he was wonderful. read more

I bought a plaque for one of my Usher's who had transition, I called and talked to the daughter she gave me the address to the business, I paid them a visit. I met the daughter explained to her what I wanted to do, and what I wanted on the Plaque, she took the order, but mind you I need the plaque by that Saturday. and it was Tuesday, she explained to me that they normally need a week or two, but she will do it. I picked the plaque up and it was just like I wanted and for it to be crystal it wasn't expensive. Thank you read more

The customer service by one of the workers (I believe his name is Emilio but not positive) is horrible. I came in and provided a photo of the banner, the man kept telling me that I needed to resize the picture but in reality I didn't not need to. When I tried to explain that he kept going back and forth with me without listening. Luckily momentarily I was provided with another guy to work with. Fast forward to the following 2 days, I received the proof, I asked to change the photo on the banner and he stated that I had to pay another $15 on top of the $15 I had originally paid just to change it. When questioning the extra charge, his response was "I'm not going to argue with you" When finally coming to pick up the banner. I attempted to just pay and not talk to avoid further conversation. He then started arguing with me again after I refused to answer any questions. . Such a horrible experience for a paying customer that paid $235. I only wanted a banner and was met with aggression every time. Will not be returning read more

Would not recommend this place to anyone, the owner is very unprofessional. Doesn't know how to help 1 client at a time. He's all over the place. Does not have any knowledge of any of the products, or the patience to help. Take your business elsewhere. The other staff is just standing around. Everyone is extra slow and not helpful. I emailed and text after coming in and still was treated poorly. Really bad customer service. read more

100% fast and detailed service. You receive emails about the progress of your items, and your request is handled with a professional touch. I had two shirts and a eye mask made for my girlfriend, came out excellent. Will definitely be back for more. read more

I have been patronizing Thompson's Trophies for years. So I come to pick up the order. The manager comes out with a bad attitude, ready to bring it to my vehicle. I said, let me check it. I proceed to check the order. Low and Behold. Two Trophy Plates are incorrect. So, he takes them to fix them. Then he tells me the balance. He doesn't have change. I said, due to the inconvenience and me having to wait for them to fix the corrections, can you just take the dollar off. He says, no. Then proceeds to argue with me, couldn't figure out the 81 cents difference, looks at others in the store for validation. Then I explain I have been coming here for years. This is how you treat a customer. His response. I don't care. I have orders that are 19,000. I said, You just lost a customer. His worker brings out the trophy after I waited, opens the door rudely and waits for me to lift the heavy box and bring it to my car. The customer service was horrific. You have definitely lost a consistent customer! read more

WOW!!! I'll let the engraving speak for itself. Old English font engraved on the nameplate for my WCW Championship Belt. Amazing!!! Thank you Vashaun for all your help. If Yelp allowed more than 5 Stars I would definitely score Thompson Trophy even higher. read more

This company doesn't honor their work when they make a mistake and the owner and staff have the worst customer service skills. Be sure to physically pick up your order to determine if the work was done properly. Good grief.. I've never experience such unprofessional behavior. read more

It was my eldest sister's 33rd birthday. In my family we all have nick names, much like anyone else's. A name that makes her feel good about herself is "boss sauce." This name stems from the many business that she owns as opposed to her name, Whitney, her staff calls her boss sauce. I was gifted the idea to buy her a lighter, since the reefa is a lifestyle hack of hers. Aka she will always been in need of a lighter. Why not go all out and get her a laughter. But it was last minute to find a place that would engrave it so last minute, the day of her birthday. This trophy shop had me in and out the door in less than 2 hours. I'm sure they had so many orders, but under the circumstances they rushed my order! L O V E them and will be back. read more

Two words to describe these folks. SUPER. HEROES. I called in a day before wanting to recognize my students for an excellent performance during our festival band season. They were able, in a few minutes, to get back to me with two options of medals and a quote. I was able to pick up the medals AND a last minute trophy WITH AN ENGRAVED PLATE!! The prices are extremely reasonable and Shaun was very kind through the whole process. A+++ read more

My business has been coming to Thompson Trophy for some time now, so this review is a bit overdue. Since day one the staff has been extremely helpful and I'd say they gained our repeat business from the start. They work hard to make sure they get all the details right and they have been very accommodating to our occasional short timelines. They will not let you leave disappointed and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs any of the services they offer. As a small business ourselves, I'm glad we have been able to find another local small business that gets customer service right. read more

I had to update my review! So I purchased 3 plaques last week, and as I said I purchase plaques from Thompson every year and my organization has been doing business with them for about 20. I, yes ME, lol I messed up the wording and spelling on one of the plaques this was completely my fault I just wasn't paying attention when I rushed through the proofs and I emailed Thompson to tell them I needed a new one and asked for the cost and lead-time on the replacement plaque. Cindy the owners daughter called me (no email) she called and said they'd be happy to remake it for me and even offered a discount on the new plaque! You have no idea how happy I was, since it was my fault I would have to pay out of pocket. This was beyond anything I could have expected or asked for, and they are remaking it in less than their standard lead time! I'm a daddy's girl so I love that the family works together cindy's a sweetie and so is her dad, when picking my plaques up last week I lost my ATM card and needed to pay with check (they don't take personal checks) but he made a onetime exception and took mine. Simply awesome people and awesome customer service!!! read more

Believe me, I have used Thompson Trophy for the last 25 years! I'm a school principal and every year, I give them a huge trophy order and they have completed it ahead of schedule, even if I'm late giving them my list. Douglas is an experienced businessman, and he knows how to give great customer service. They have never be lax in correcting any errors in the names and they diligently handle special orders. This is a great trophy company, their prices are as low as a gopher hole in Death Valley, and in my opinion, anyone that gives them a negative review must be the friend of a competitor! This company is excellent! read more

Love the business, very nice people, they are very profecinal I just simply love their work

Not only is this the place with the best prices around, but it is certainly the place with the most variety I can think of (and I purchase a ton of trophies throughout the year). Their plaques, crystals, acrylics, and gifts are high quality. Douglas is very accommodating and did everything he could to personally assure my orders were processed in time for my event. Don't go with anyone else. Trust me. read more

Thompson's is a GREAT small business. Very accommodating and willing to work with its patrons to ensure quality products at affordable prices. Although my organization's has a great relationship with them, I'd never worked with them...so when I came in with a RUSH order, they worked to ensure my expectations, budget, and timeline were exceeded. I'm thoroughly satisfied with Thomspon's and will look to them for all my trophy/plaque/medal needs. read more

i order and paid for a name plaque for a friend of mine. she just received this position and i decided to have it made for her as a gift. i ordered it and was told it would ready for pick up on thursday the following week. on friday of the same week i placed my order, i received an email showing the wording on the plaque. the email also stated to review and send it back to them by 4:00 p.m. or my order would be delayed for pick up monday. i was a bit confused. i even got a phone call stating that my order was ready for pick up. i entered the shop and there were two ladies sitting behind their desks. no one ever greeted me. one of the ladies said here for pick up. i said yes. she went and pulled my original paperwork. she went in the back and came back and laid the box on the counter. she then said here is your order. i took the box and opened it to find out that it was not what i ordered and paid for. all she could say was it is not what you ordered. never once did she apologize for their error. just said let me find out when you can pick it up. i work in retail and good customer service is very important. i then told her that i did not have the time to keep running down here. she needed to check to make sure it is right and then call me. i told her that is how you do business. they do good work but the workers need to be trained in dealing with the public in a more professional, personable and compassionate manner. taking responsibility for "your" mistake would have really been nice. also, greet(hello, good morning/afternoon/evening) the guest before asking what they need. stop being so rude. learn and show some manners ( say thank you, good bye and apologize for your mistakes). read more
