NOT SO FAST OLD MAN! The good folks at Sullivan told me the tire couldn't be repaired because the screw was too close to the sidewall. What they didn't know is that I knew exactly where the screw was. It was well within the tread. But they REALLY wanted to help with my problem, and offered to sell me one tire, for nearly $400. Installed I assume, or maybe not. So, I took my leak elsewhere. Got it repaired for $40 and made a friend. The man has been in the tire business for decades, and just shook his head when I told him the story. Here's the thing: I never begrudge a man a day's pay, but do not try to take advantage of me. I'm too old and I worked too f***ing hard for my pension to get porked because the rubber merchants had a slow day. Sullivan Tire will reply, bleating their side of the story. And that's fine. I know the truth. Now you do too.

I am an ASC Certified mechanic and I have been professionally doing that for 40 years. Even when I told her what happened she denied it and started cussing and raising her voice. I asked her to calm down and I explained to her that I can prove it was a bad toe when I tear the transmission down I can prove that it was done that way. Then she said that we were told they could not take the drive shaft out because it was too rusty so all the sudden their story changed and it went from they took it out to they didn't take it out and they told us they didn't take it out which is all lies. This is a very shady company and they treat you like trash on top of charging you enormous amounts of money. Even when there is a certified ASE technician telling them that there was a mistake made they deny it and become extremely rude and aggressive. I will see you in court.

Seacoast Dent Repair was one of the business I followed. I am glad I did because there are some really impressive before and after shots on the page. Not only do they fix dents, they do touch up paint, cosmetic wheel repair, and other various body work services on high end exotics, classics, all the way down to your typical commuter car. It looked like my hood was closed on a tool at some point and a dent was pushed up from the bottom of the hood and the paint had cracked. I wanted to try paintless dent removal rather than refinish the entire hood. Matching metallic paint never seems to go well. I figured I would give Seacoast Dent Repair a shot with my classic convertible. I received the same excellent service from Scott as the others below. Scott traveled to the Boston area to work on my car. He explained the potential outcomes and we decided to move forward. He pulled out a multitude of tools and got to work right away. Sure enough, he was able to get the metal perfectly flat again and was able to repair the cracked paint at a price that was much lower than I anticipated. I am very happy with the outcome.
