Paid more than double the price for a battery. Had to go back for a loud noise as we drove home to have it fixed. First experience and our last. Found out the hard way that there's more negative than we realized including holding a customer's car hostage, driving her to a bank for payment and forced her to have the work done. We have rights to choose who does work. This woman did not. Ultimately, the battery they replaced failed within a year. We knew it would cost more for a "free" battery replacement (within battery guarantee) for installation so we bit the bullet and paid a reputable company to replace the battery, again.

I told him that wasn't necessary, I'd be fine leaving it. He said that's not necessary, took a quick look, and told me he could have it done in about an hour. My wife picked me up and we did some quick Christmas shopping at the outlets, and arrived back to Puffer's about 4:25. They were just taking the car off the lift. They could have charged me for an entire section of exhaust, but instead cut out the failed area and replaced it with new, welded-in pipe. This saved a ton of money in time and labor.
