Had to recently quit this dentist, their billing department can just not seem to get it right. Both my husband and I have had to pay out of pocket in full for cleanings, when they should've been included in the yearly. I went to the front desk to schedule my six month appointment, which they scheduled in 5 months and then charged me for the cleaning. Owner was unwilling to budge on the pricing, even though it was a scheduling error. The communication is beyond poor, one person will say it's covered by the insurance then when you go for the appointment they want payment, every time! Place is definitely going downhill. So dirty, see picture. Staff is RUDE. Would not recommend this dentist, find someone else! You don't want the headache! Started out great, but progressed with hands out for more and more money. I feel there could've been an easier way to get all my dental work done that financially befitted me and not them. read more

Honestly it breaks my heart to write this review because I saw Dr Toolson for years and loved seeing him however, every time I'd go there would be more and more big things to do. I finally decided to see a new dentist because I had a white dot on my gums... I ended up seeing two different dentists both who said that the posts that were put in for a root canal were very old school practice and that the one that was done needed to be redone. More money thrown into my tooth.. Fixed that issue, was starting to have pain in another tooth that had a root canal done and when they went to give me a new crown the dentist discovered that the material wasn't porcelain and it was decaying and the tooth is not salvageable... additional thousands of dollars. The new dentist is referring me to someone else for the procedure so there is no money gain for them. Sad and disappointed.. Great staff and Dr Toolson has always been very friendly. But I just be aware. read more

It is with disappointment that I write this review as my family has been coming here for years. We will no longer receive services here as it has become apparent that they are money hungry. Given the pandemic it is understandable people's desire to recuperate funds however, it should not be at the expense of clients. This office continues to overcharge insurance companies more than what was quoted to the patient. In turn, the patient has to pay out of pocket the amount not covered by insurance. When asked why the price given to the insurance is more than what was given to the patient, this office responded, "We have to go with the price that the insurance says to charge." Since when does the insurance suggest a cost for services to a patient if the cost is more? Especially if it costs the patient more out of pocket because insurance has a limit to how much is covered annually. Basic fillings and cleanings should not result in out of pocket expenses especially when the insurance coverage is supplemented. My family will no longer allow this office to nickel and dime. I recently had to quit this guy. Every time I went here he found work to do, yet in all my past I've never had issues, nor have my kids. But this guy foubf sometbing every six months. He got alot of money out of me, and I have good insurance. They charged alot for a filling that I wasn't sure I needed. Then sent me a statement instead of an invoice. This statement was called a "warning letter" , why would any business "warn" a customer?? Bad business', I guess. read more

My husbands company changed insurances so we had to change to a dentist that would accept this coverage. I found Dr. Toolson in the approved dentist list and made an appointment since he was close to my residence. I was a little nervous about trying a new dentist but he and his staff made me feel like I had been coming there for years. They are very friendly and VERY professional. My first visit was a cleaning and an exam. My second appointment was to have a filling repair from one I had since I was a kid and a new crown. I expected pain and lots of time in the dentist chair. Due to his current technology, I had the filling and the permanent crown (made in the office while I waited for 15 min) in place in less than an hour. Pain free! I would highly recommend Dr. Toolson and I'm so glad I found him! read more

So not having to come back another day. The front office ladies were the best getting me scheduled and letting me know what I would need to pay. My go to for the last 15 or more years when someone in my family has an emergency and our provider is closed or unavailable. I WISH Dr. Toolson was covered under our insurance!!!! Dr Toolson has been my family's dentist for many, many, many years. I have been to several different dentist before him who gave me a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) for dentistry as a whole. They did unnecessary work, charged me unfairly and made me feel discouraged. On my very first appointment with Dr Toolson he put me right at ease with his warm and sincere presence. He has managed to keep my smile tiptop despite the trauma and negligence I put it through. He is truly an artist! he is honest and caring in his approach and his work is magnificent! The entire staff is superb! They are friendly and patient. My kids even enjoy going to the dentist (believe it or not) and talk about Dr Toolson and his staff like they are family. They take special care in sanitation and keep their office and tools clean and sterilized, which is extremely important. I highly recommend Dr Toolson for all dentistry needs. He has faithfully served my family over the years and has done a beautiful job at that! Which is why we refuse to go anywhere else, even though we moved over an hour away a few years ago. Yes!
