She is an incredible dentist; kind, thorough, and someone I have trusted with my care for many years. I would recommend her without hesitation. 5 stars for her! Unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing due to billing/insurance. Prior to my most recent visits, I would call to make an appointment and no one would answer, I finally left a voicemail and the call was returned days later. During my last visit for a cleaning, I scheduled a major procedure for the following weeks and specifically requested that a copy of the cost estimate be emailed to me. The email was never sent. I later received a text to confirm the upcoming appointment and replied asking for someone to call me. No one did. I then called the office myself and left a message. When my call was eventually returned, I again asked about the estimate and clearly requested that it be emailed to me. I still never received it, it was only verbally provided. After switching insurance plans, I discovered that Dr. Ocampo is no longer in-network with my current insurance, which explained the very high estimate I was quoted. I compared costs with in-network providers and found a significant difference. Had I not followed up on my own and requested the estimate, I could have unknowingly paid a large out-of-network cost. I called back to confirm and was extremely disappointed in the woman's response and tone. While I continue to have the utmost respect for Dr. Ocampo, the lack of communication and follow-through regarding billing and insurance information is concerning. I rely on transparency and this completely fell short of my experience.

They are so deserved…read more This year, as I enter my 70's, I had to have a few procedures done, one of which was deep cleaning before shoulder surgery in a few months. This review I thought I'd focus on Dr Bosler's hygienist, Molly. Molly is extremely knowledgeable. I'm a nurse myself and am so impressed with her care of the whole person. She is so thorough she has been able to assess a few dental problems and address them early saving me from a much worse problem and expense down the line. A few years ago Molly noticed a "shadow" on my inner cheek that warranted a visit to my primary care doc. As it turned out there was no cancer and I did not require further work up. I've been blessed to be able afford dental checkups my entire life. However, having a team of professionals who have helped me avoid serious dental issues and expenses really has helped! Molly, if you read this, I hope you to know you're the best of the best. You look at the whole patient, their lifestyle and needs. It's that "extra" genuine personal interest, intelligence and gentleness you provide that makes you the exceptional medical professional you are. He did an exam, did a cleaning and recommended two crowns. I asked if he minded if I asked to send the xrays to my former dentist of 40+ years to take a look. He said he didn't. When I saw my dentist's office for an out of pocket cleaning, I learned my insurance would cover a periodontist. They recommended one and I called her to make an appointment and was told the referral had to come from Dr Galvan because he was in the plan. When I called Dr. Galvan's office for the periodontist referral, I was told I had been dropped as a patient and that was all they had to say. Because it would delay my cleaning, I begged for the referral and was told I would have to get another dentist. Guess he didn't like that I got a 2nd opinion and didn't get the crowns. Why when I first saw him and told him that I had a periodontist for decades and he didn't refer me to one then?

Based on my experience, I was not confident in the dentist's judgment or level of experience. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any significant dental procedure recommended here, particularly if the treatment goes beyond routine preventive care. A cleaning may be fine, but I personally would not return for fillings or more involved dental work. I wish I had sought a second opinion before proceeding. I proceeded to go to the back and get my cleaning started and the dental hygienist was extremely rough!! I have had multiple trips to the dentist and have received extensive work that wasn't as plainly as this dental hygienist flossing my teeth. The doctor came in and furnished my cleaning, and he was amazing. Overall, Im extremely disappointed with their service today.
