You will have to contact Kids Care Dental in the first floor of this building for orthodontic care. The customer representative on the phone states that the office is only open Monday through Wednesdays but looking here on Yelp it states Monday through Thursdays. It's always been a pain trying to schedule an appointment with this office because they're only available during odd days and hours either when the kids have school or when us parents are working. And when you do schedule an appointment over the phone, it'll be weeks or even months away!! What irritated me the most about this place was when we scheduled an appointment weeks ahead and they cancelled it the day before the actual appointment. I brought my kid to this office for a consultation for braces. We had a 4pm appointment. I was told the provider is running a few minutes behind. So they take the X-rays. We are waiting and I was called to the desk. It's 4:30 at this point. I was asked a couple of questions and then in convo find out the provider is running an hour behind. Naturally this frustrating because there is clearly a lack of communication from staff. I cancel the appointment. The lady tells me that the 3:30 appointment hasn't been called yet. Keep in mind that the office closes at 5 PM. So either they were going to be rushing to see me in order to go home or I would have been told to reschedule. This is a poor impression of the business that demonstrates this is how you handle potential patients. Very poor customer service, incompetent staff providing misleading information which negatively impact your decision making in availing of their treatment then charge you for something that you did not get. This is exactly what they did to us. Their staff was clinically negligent in providing misleading information which affected my ability to make informed consent in availing invisalign service for my daughter. We only received the initial free consult and scan and nothing else. Now they do not want to refund the $2000 i put down for the treatment that was not received and they will refund only portion of it. This is like professional robbery. The manager is not in the office and even if you are told she will call you, you will not get a call. They don't initiate providing you update unless you ask them. They argue with you and make you feel it is your fault that their staff provided wrong information. You should also watch your account as they may keep pulling money from you when they shouldn't. They continued to charge me for something we did not get. Oh and it is really difficult to get a hold of someone in their clinic because all calls goes to their call center. Unless you are ok risking experiencing the same issues, go somewhere else. read more

I want to start with the positives, the doctor and the staff are very nice people. Now the negatives, this is the most poorly managed office I have ever dealt with in my history of dealing with orthodontists and dentists. They seem to have an answering service on 24 hours a day. It's nearly impossible to get a hold of someone in the actual office , when you leave messages through the answering service, return phone calls are never made. My son has had buttons popping off of his Invisalign for over a month and we have been unable to get an appointment, let laone a call back. Every time we call the answering service says the office is closed and/or they don't have any availability, this particular appointment could be a quick appointment but it has turned into a complete fiasco and made our family regret the nearly $5000 we have spent on Invisalign here. We can't even get a hold of someone to get the template for my son's teeth so our general dentist can just replace the buttons that keep popping off. After multiple phone calls I am on the verge of filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. read more

Do not come here. If you can go somewhere else, do so. Dr. Anderson and the staff are nice. However, one to two days after every appointment brackets fall off my son's teeth. Last week, The top wire was loose and poking the side of his mouth. I've made several calls to get an appointment. No luck! We had to pull the wire out so my son could get relief I've called several times and have had calls "disconnected." Or been told there is no appointments available. The customer service is so bad. Trying to get an appointment to fix the brackets is impossible. Also they make most appointments in the morning meaning my son has to miss school. I have been a patient of Dr. Andersons for many years now, and I'd like to note that I've paid for all of my treatment experience out of pocket. And what an experience it has been! That being said I am completely appalled by the end of my experiences at this office, since the 'merge' and changing of office staff the customer experience has left EVERYTHING to be desired. Being a professional myself, I've never thought it a smart choice to treat customers, never mind patients! with disdain or attempt to charge them for anything without opening a chart or attempting to make an appointment to see if anything could be done. I was not aware that receptionists had the power to make diagnoses, especially without looking at the patient or consulting their treating Doctor... Beware everyone, if you are a new ortho patient and have Dr. Anderson Kids Care Dental as your in-network provider with your insurance health plan as I have experienced, this is a warning to you not to use him as his practice and their process are a total scam after 6 mos of runarounds. On your initial consultation, a digital scan is performed, Dr. Anderson will review the scanned images, then give you his assessment of your treatment with his staff specialist, Maia. When Dr. Anderson leaves the room, she discusses the cost breakdown of what your in-network insurance carrier will pay and what your share is owed to Dr. Anderson. They will over charge you 65% more than what your insurance carrier is willing to authorize for in-network. They will over charge you 40% more of your upfront cost than what your insurance carrier allows you to pay for in-network. They will offer you incentive of a 5% discount if you act with his treatment plan within 3-4 weeks. Their scheme is they don't adhere to your insurance carrier's guidelines of completing the predetermination letter on measurements so your insurance carrier never can approve your treatment. Furthermore, Kids Care Dental gives your in-network insurance carrier a remote PO Box address in Los Angeles so the predetermination letter is never received by Dr. Anderson at his Fairfield office to complete the questions. They only follow up with you in the first month only if you commit to their 40% overcharge. For 6 mos, the customer service of their administrator staff and front desk, Jianna are poor, unfriendly, and not willing to resolve this with my insurance carrier. They never follow up, return phone calls, text messages if you don't first commit to their own price plan overcharges. As a corporation, they rather not be part of in-network with your insurance as they will lose their 40% profit so they ignore you intentionally. Many patients are unaware that the business practice of this corporation called Kids Care Dental is dishonest for its excessive charges and should be on guard and be aware to go to another Orthodontist that is ethical. read more

When I first looked up this practice on Yelp, I saw it had a high rating but I failed to filter the rating/comments by newest to see the current experience of patients, really wish I had done that. - Difficult making an appointment, called multiple times to reach someone as voicemail calls were not answered. Others in recent comments are experiencing the same exact thing. - No dedicated staff at the front desk on our second appointment, waited 5 minutes before someone appeared from a back room. I have patience and 5 minutes is not long but the fact there was not someone up there for that long was surprising for a dental office and anyone could just reach over and access folders that were laying around. - The consultation for our daughter was done by someone who does not normally provide consultations and this resulted in us receiving inaccurate information about the process/procedure we thought we had agreed to. - No privacy, the dental chairs are lined up all right next to each other without any wall/rooms. -On the day of the treatment, my 7 year old daughter was excited to start the process and we had strategically planned for her to get this done right before Thanksgiving break, that way she should heal while she was out of school. Within minutes of her sitting in the chair, the dental assistant advised us of the process that was to take place over the next few appointments. All of which was not in line with what we were told during our consultation. I was so surprised, I asked her if she had the right patient and to provide my daughters name just to make sure we were discussing the right patient. After she confirmed it was the right patient, I asked to speak to Dr. Anderson as I wanted to hear from him exactly what the process was going to be over the next year as there was a mention by the dental assistant of certain dental pieces going in her mouth that were not discussed previously. He was pained to speak to us and his facial expression, mannerisms were both inhospitable and it was evident we were a burden on him. Rather than explaining, he spoke about his 30 years of experience. I told my daughter it is time to go, way too many red flags at this practice. I told Dr. Andersen he could @#$! himself and that he was a shitty doctor and his practice was run poorly. He did not seemed surprise to hear that, it was like he had it heard it enough. I am glad the red flags came within the first two appointments, we were able to cut ties and find a more caring dentist, a well run practice and an office staff that maintains open lines of communication. read more

I had braces as a kid, lost my retainers and didn't tell mom. Fast forward 14 years and I have one bottom tooth that's super out of place. I usually start at Yelp for recommendations of local businesses and I messaged Dr. Anderson on here last Wednesday. He messaged me back within a few hours. I messed up the dates for my consult, it was actually Monday 11/29 but I came today . Luckily someone didn't show up and Dr. Anderson's staff took me in. I'm glad I shopped around. I had a consult last week with a DIFFERENT ortho in town and was quoted $5,610 for Invisalign with this vibrating "top notch accelerator" that was supposed to accelerate my treatment to 12 months. This was after the ortho looked into my mouth for a few seconds. Dr. Andersen was super professional and when he ripped open a new sterilized kit, looked at each individual tooth and started talking measurements and other dentistry things to his staff, I knew we were in business. He was honest and didn't try to sell me on anything. I now have an appointment in December for a four month treatment to take care of my bottom teeth and a top retainer to keep the top straight, all for about a third of the price the other ortho had quoted me. This place is great. I messed up on the date of my appointment so I was seen pretty quick, but if you have to wait a month or so to be seen here, it's definitely worth the wait. read more

This is where my whole family have and will get our teeth straightened. The place is so clean and I can say there is not one mean/rude staff here. Everyone is so professional and nice...and did I mention how CLEAN they are? (Price) Let's face it, braces are so NOT cheap and normally insurance doesn't cover cosmetic procedures, and Dr.Anderson's office knows this...so if you bring family here they'll give you a family discount (I.E.: I paid the full price for mine but all my siblings will get a "family" discount now). The family discount I think will take off roughly 200 dollars (but that was just for our case). (Overall) I am super happy with my braces. My teeth are straight and the office gives you a goody bag of stuff you need to help maintain your teeth after you get them--my sister got an electric toothbrush valued at ~180 for free--how awesome is that? Plus, they have a goody box for kids, stickers, pencils, and weekly/monthly raffles for random giftcards or trips. There's also video games and the normal medical toys for kids to play with (like that wooden thing with the colorful pieces you can move around--whatever those are called). read more

If I could leave a 6 star I would. I went to Robert Anderson as a 37 year old with what I thought were teeth that were just "ok", I had some imperfections and my smile wasn't the biggest. I figured I might as well start improving my life starting with my smile! On my first visit Dr. Anderson asked what kind of smile I wanted on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best.. my response "being that i'm paying out of pocket I want a 10!" He informed me that because my teeth didn't line up in the front my jaw would have to be broken, wired shut for 6 months, followed by braces for approx a year. wasn't very appealing! I asked.. what's the next option? he replied "well we can do braces for 2 years, you'll get about an 8/10 smile"... I quickly agreed to the 8! Growing up with sisters who all had braces, I had in my head the fact that my teeth would be in so much pain during the "tightening" appointments... and that my mouth would get all cut up, etc. If I had known exactly what would have happened after just getting my braces off I sure would have done this a LONG time ago when I would have had them for free under my parents insurance. Sure my teeth were a bit "sore" from time to time during the 2 year process and yes, i did get a couple sores from the metal against my gums, but this is to be expected. I just got my braces off last week and am more than thrilled with the end result. Dr. Anderson was also thrilled, he said my teeth came out better than he anticipated. I am now rocking my golden state warriors (blue and yellow) retainers with pride! Everyone who has seen my teeth including Dr. Kuzma (the friendly dentist next door) have raved at how wonderful they look. I am now fully confident in smiling and usually walk around cheesing!! Now this is most important, out of ALL my visits to the office Dr. Anderson was only absent one time and in his presence was an equally wonderful specialist. The office staff who I interacted with a lot are above and beyond amazing. Everyone is friendly, kind, helpful, etc. I could go on and on but you get the point. Dr. Anderson rocks! I'd highly recommend getting a consult with him and if you choose to, having him be your smile artist!! read more

Two of my children received full orthodontic treatment form Dr. Anderson, braces to retainers. The atmosphere of the office was always welcoming and clean and the staff were always professional and friendly. Dr. Anderson was consistently kind with my children, explaining what he was doing. Since this time, we moved to another city and decide to use a different orthodontist that was close to our new home. This turned into a nightmare and we have switched orthodontists and are back under the care of Dr. Anderson. We highly recommend Dr. Anderson and staff! read more

This place is an amazing DDS office. They are located at the end of Fairfield if you are heading east on 80. Why? Why am I giving five stars? Ease of finding the location is one, enough parking, and they have a nice atmosphere the moment you walk into the office. The customer service from staff is amazing from phone call, to in person. They truly know who the patients are and parents. The system they use manages the patients well. When you call they are ready prepping for support you. They confirm a few things and answer any questions you need answered. Covid protocols are mentioned, reminded, and reminded before and even after appointments. The DDS staff my kids engaged with more than my wife and I, however we have had plenty of conversations with them and they truly explain the process and the goal of their services along with a timeline and budget. I had my consultation and first adjustment today and everyone in this office is awesome! I just moved here from Illinois and I needed an orthodontist to take over my braces and at first I went to another place my friends recommended and they quoted me an OUTRAGEOUS price and wanted to start my work all over. He was quick and honest and is able to use the braces I already have and quoted me an extremely reasonable price to finish everything. My Daughter Goes To Dr.Garcia Down Stairs And Dr.Anderson Upstairs For Ortho And I Cant Tell You How Much I Love Them Both! My Daughter Mentioned Her Metal Expander For Ortho Was Hurting Her. With The Holiday Week & Dr.Anderson On Vacation I Thought It Would Be Hard To Get Her In, But The Girls In His Office Made Sure To Check Trinity Out & Make Sure She Was Okay. They Took A Look And Noticed She Had An Infection In The Area She Was Saying Hurt. They Had Her Go Downstairs To Her Pediatric Dentist. X Ray And Removal Of Her Expander Showed An Abscess That Was Hidden Under Her Expander. Due To That Tooth Being Really Loose And Her Adult Tooth Trying To Come In. I Could Not Be More Happy With Rolling Hills Pediatrics & Dr. Anderson In Orthodontics. The Staff Called Him On Vacation And He Responded & Told Them Exactly What To Do.
