I am genuinely sad to be writing this review because I have been a patient of Dr. Ocampo for over 10 years, and I absolutely love her. She is an incredible dentist; kind, thorough, and someone I have trusted with my care for many years. I would recommend her without hesitation. 5 stars for her! Unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing due to billing/insurance. Prior to my most recent visits, I would call to make an appointment and no one would answer, I finally left a voicemail and the call was returned days later. During my last visit for a cleaning, I scheduled a major procedure for the following weeks and specifically requested that a copy of the cost estimate be emailed to me. The email was never sent. I later received a text to confirm the upcoming appointment and replied asking for someone to call me. No one did. I then called the office myself and left a message. When my call was eventually returned, I again asked about the estimate and clearly requested that it be emailed to me. I still never received it, it was only verbally provided. After switching insurance plans, I discovered that Dr. Ocampo is no longer in-network with my current insurance, which explained the very high estimate I was quoted. I compared costs with in-network providers and found a significant difference. Had I not followed up on my own and requested the estimate, I could have unknowingly paid a large out-of-network cost. I called back to confirm and was extremely disappointed in the woman's response and tone. While I continue to have the utmost respect for Dr. Ocampo, the lack of communication and follow-through regarding billing and insurance information is concerning. I rely on transparency and this completely fell short of my experience. read more

I asked him for a "second opinion" on a set of dental X-rays from another dentist. Even though it was in my Delta Dental plan and he is a member,he refused. I reminded him that this was authorized by the head office of Delta Dental and he reiterate that his office does not do business that way. They had to take their own X-rays for a "second opinion". Bottom line he refused to comply with Delta Dental policy even though he signed an agreement with Delta Dental to follow their policies. read more

I appreciate how the staff carefully cleans and sanitizes this dental office. The staff is friendly, diverse and will work to schedule appointments with your schedule in mind. My kids love going here because they each have their own TV to watch during a cleaning, and after the final exam, they are allowed to pick a toy from the treasure chest. Whenever I tell my kids that it is time for the dentist, they are excited and can't wait to go. It means a lot that my children aren't afraid of the dentist. Dr. Ocampo and her staff are amazing. Went here looking for a new dentist and was screened for multiple cavities. I needed to change insurances and went to a new dentist who found that all the cavities and deep cleaning I was quoted for were unnecessary. Just to be sure I went to another dentist and sure enough instead of the 14 they had quoted me for I only had 2. I really wish I could leave a better review but when there are 2 dentists contradicting them it doesn't leave much to misinterpreted. Will not be coming here again and do not recommend. read more

I was referred to Dr. Ocampo from my Oral Surgeon. She is awesome . Both Dr. Ocampo and Dr. Gonzalez are thorough in their work and explain everything upfront. They make sure you are comfortable and take the time to hear your concerns. I absolutely appreciate doctors who care about their patient. Her staff equally are professional and knowledgeable. My experience was positive. I have gone through local dentist in the past two years and by all means this place is the best. The facility is clean and up to date. For the most part I enjoyed my time at this dentist, especially in the beginning. My needs were met and everyone was so nice. However, things gradually went downhill when I had my Invisalign appointments. The wait times sitting on the chair became unbearably long. And I would only be scheduled there to see if the new Invisalign sets fit nicely. It would have taken the doctor to sit down with me for 2-5 minutes then I'd be done. I was extremely perplexed why I had to wait for an hour. Whatever needs to be ironed out on this end would make for a better experience. Maybe don't overbook or have these short appointments as priority to get me in and out. This didn't just happen for one appointment either, it was all the appointments for when I had to get my new set of Invisalign dentures. Eventually I moved to a different state. And before moving, I wanted to get the extra Invisalign retainers that they had for me. It was an extreme pain just to get my first set. Then my final extra set they wanted the doctor to see me for some reason. I had waited in the lobby for the doctor but as you can imagine, that wasn't happening any time soon. Eventually I just left my last set of retainers there. Onto positives, the hygienists were extremely nice. Always asked me if I was in pain or needed anything. They apologized for wait times etc. they play movies. Cleanings were always pleasant. The dentists here are top notch. But something needs to be done about wait times. read more

Our world has changed because of covid but we still have to maintain our health including dental health. Plans for a root canal had to be delayed earlier this year due to the corona virus, (not a problem, I wasn't too overly excited for one anyway). When the office started to open we booked an appointment and we all maintained 6 ft distancing. All staff had all protective gear such as masks, gowns, gloves and facial barriers. Questionnaires were sent through text regarding covid. Temp and pulse ox checks were done up front. There was constant cleaning of equipment used such as xrays, lead barriers, monitors, storage units. The office wasn't full. There were barriers in place between the front desk and clients as well. I did my part by wearing a mask, (until procedure time) I social distanced in the lobby, I brought my own pen to sign paperwork. Bringing your own sunglasses can help too during procedures but they have that too if you don't have your own. As always hand hygiene for patients are important so they had the gel based alcohol disinfectants for patients and staff in the lobby and in the back offices. As always the staff are pleasant. I love my dentist, Dr. Ocampo, who tells me what she's doing and keeps checking on me. Great and safe place to go to. read more

Not only am I no longer afraid of dental work, but I also look forward to my visits because the experience is always pleasant. A few years ago, another dentist told me I needed a root canal and was going to charge me an exorbitant amount, but after consulting with Dr. Ocampo and she had X-rays done, she determined that I only needed a deep cleaning. I never experience any pain during my cleanings and fillings. Nor any pain after any treatment. Additionally, my kids love going to their dentist, which is rare for most children. This demonstrates that Forever Smile Dental is one of the best dental offices we've ever visited. Everyone there is professional, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. I loveeeeeeee this place. The first time I went to Forever Smiles Dental was a day that I was basically played by another doctor #scamed. I called Forever Dental and told them my situation and told them that all I wanted was a regular cleaning and that after the cleaning I would look into being a regular. Well Forever Smile took matters in they're hands and gave me a same day appointment and apologized for the other doctor, whom has no ties with them. They squeezed me in due to a cancellation and made my experience the best time ever. The staff is amazing and professional, like alllllllllll the front desk lady's are 100000% down to earth and amazing and honey the dentist as well. They are clean clean clean and they speak with the truth and don't try to make you pay more then you need too. I can really tell they care for the patients. Great experience! I was looking for a new dentist after having a weird/uncomfortable encounter with my last one and not wanting to go throughout all of 2020 bc of covid. I bookmarked several places in the area to get a quote for a cleaning + exam with no insurance. I called about 3-4 places and each place was charging over $300! When I called Forever Smile and found out they offered the same services for less than half I made my appointment the same day. On top of it being a budget friendly price I saw that they had great reviews on Yelp. The business itself is very clean with a beautiful modern aesthetic that I appreciate. Not the typical 90s dentist offices that I've seen in the past. When I got there I filled out the new patient form and was brought into the exam room shortly. My hygienist Brittany was so sweet. She was very personable and explained everything to me thoroughly. She played the show I was interested in on Netflix as she did my cleaning and I thought it was the best idea ever to get patients to relax in what can be an uncomfortable environment. When she finished with the main cleaning, Dr. Eli (not sure if I spelled her name right) came in to do my exam. She was so warm and friendly. Very positive energy, engaging, and informative. I've never enjoyed interacting with dentists in the past bc they're either rude or creepy lol. But Dr. Eli was completely different. She was so nice and made me feel totally comfortable. She explained everything to me thoroughly and I felt happy leaving the dentist. So much so I immediately called my sister and bf to recommend they switch lol. I should have post my review long time ago(sorry Dr. Ocampo). I chose Dr. Ocampo as my dentist because of the good reviews here on Yelp, and let me tell you I do not regret it one bit. My husband and I started seen her like a year ago, every single time it is nothing but an excellent experience, and excellent quality dental work. I even switched my kids last month to Dr Ocampo from a well known childrens dentist, due to their lack of communication when trying to just confirm an appt. I was a little afraid my kids would not feel comfortable here, but it was just the opposite. Even my 5 year old who usually does not like going to the dentist and gets afraid, felt really comfortable and that happened thanks to the awesome staff that took the time to make It happened.
