I never thought I would leave a 5 star review for a root canal, but here we are. I broke my tooth and my regular dentist referred me to Dr Kaban because it needed a root canal. Dr Kabans clinic got me an appt so fast and made sure to confirm that I was not in pain. I have major medical anxiety and PTSD due to some pretty terrible care. Everyone was extremely patient with me about that. They were kind and encouraging. I appreciated the little touches like the rescue kitten cam videos, the emotional support cuddle bear, the full body bib, the warm washcloth for after and much more. Jessica was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She looked up my insurance stuff and got everything together really fast. I was shocked how quick she got it all done! AJ is a great assistant and even thought I was explaining to him that I am a hot mess and super freaky about medical providers he assured me that he didn't think I was weird and he would take good care of me. Dr Kaban was so patient and explained everything that he was doing and made sure to answer my questions. While I don't want another root canal, I would definitely come back here if I need one. I wish that all medical offices operated like this one! read more

Straight up best experience ever in a dental office. The ladies in the front are nice and will work with you if you talk to them and tell them your situation. I needed a root canal. I am also pregnant. Went in today to get the root canal. Was not excited to say the least but I can say I've never been more comfortable. They gave me pillows to make sure I was comfortable and checked on me through the entire procedure. I have never been numbed and not felt a thing but there's a first time for everything. I do have a hot nerve and I was bleeding quite a bit. I felt every time he hit a nerve because I jerked. Dr. Kaban stopped immediately and numbed me up to make sure I didn't feel anything. We did not finish and I will be back to finish but I appreciate that he was very straight forward about everything and was on top of care and comfortability. Only endodentist in Vacaville/Fairfield that I would give my money too. He's not corporate owned and accepts United Concordia Tricare dental. read more

Amazing! I was referred to Dr.Kaban after my dentist couldn't find anything wrong with any teeth. But referred me to be safe and since Kaban has a 3D xray (not covered by insurance) they could possibly see more than he could. Staff was friendly, helpful and patient. Everything you can ask for in an office, especially a dental office that everyone hates going to in the end it wasn't a tooth problem more of a TMJ type of issue (short version) Kaban helped me figure out a plan. Tips and was very patient and kind with me. I highly recommend this office. I paid for the 3D xray myself and would pay it all again if I had to. Tooth problem or not he was amazing. read more

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Kaban and his staff. I was in need of an endodontist after 3 crowns were having a party in my mouth and ruining everything. I was originally referred to an endodontist in Fairfield, but Dr. Kaban took me and my party crowns on when I called. She couldn't have been more supportive when I was making an initial consultation appointment, and I was put at ease from the minute I walked into the office. I needed one root canal right away, and he was exceptionally honest when the other two were placed on watch. He probably could've said I needed 3 and got a lot of money, but that's not where he took it. I was given details of why I needed what I did, saw my x-rays, had his 1-on-1 attention through the entire process, he never left to check on another patient, and I walked out after my root canal one happy guy. Maybe one day he'll also offer general dentistry services because he'd have half of this town at his door. Bravo to the entire staff from this guy who once avoided dentists and dental specialists. If I could give more stars I would. Listen, the one thing the majority of people want when they patronize a business is great product and great service. Lately it seems more and more that the service part of the deal isn't honored by these businesses. It's more common now that employees and Management staff alike come across with lack luster energy, are unhelpful or completely disengaged. And then there's Dr. Kaban's office..... When I tell you that they are operating at Legendary status for service you can believe me (just look at my review history lol I keep it 100). Not only were they friendly and professional but the entire staff was just incredibly helpful and made me feel genuinely cared for. Dental work can be a bit nerve racking by itself so when you step into a place that has a compassionate staff and they take the time to make sure you have more than enough information and any questions you may have answered it's really refreshing. So, I highly recommend giving this office a try if you need a Dental Specialist. The ENTIRE staff from reception to the Doctor himself are kind, compassionate, friendly and approachable. This whole office is amazing! Customer service is awesome and Dr Kaban is down to earth, makes you feel comfortable and thoroughly explains everything. Never had a root canal done before, I had a tooth that was injured in the front from childhood. I've only ever had 2 cavities in my life. Eventually found out that my tooth had died and needed a root canal, they made sure I knew step by step what would be done, I was so nervous but there was no pain, no complications. I got my root canal procedure done about 4years ago, but it was not in DR.Kaban's office, he actually came all the way to West Sacramento and did it in my dentists office, I still remember how fast and painless the procedure went, 4 years later still no issue, my other friend got her root canal done at some other places for cheaper but she ended up have to do the procedure again after a year because her other dentist said that the procedure wasn't done right that's why her tooth got infected again. read more

I saw Dr Kaban for the first time this week. I needed a root canal bad. I could not go longer than 4-5 hours with out taking 600mg Ibuprofen and an Xtra Strength Tylenol. The staff got me in and scheduled quickly, Dr Kaban did such a great job that I fell asleep in the chair. I am 6 hours out from the root canal. Dr. Caban and staff are absolutely amazing. I dont like the dentist let alone any specialty ones and right away Dr. Cabans staff was awesome, their office is very clean, modern, and i highly recommend this office. He and his staff were clear in their instructions and helpful with keeping me calm and aware of all the follow ups. I had a terrible experience here' Do your research before you pick Dr Kaban's office. Not sure how he got the good reviews but they have to be fake. So, I was referred out by my dentist. First I went for the consult. My first impression was that they were sorta scattered and they were looking at the wrong tooth after the scan. So being the nervous patient I am, that made me feel uncomfortable. So I cancelled my first appointment. Then I had a vacation planned and I didn't wanna go with a temporary crown on a cruise just in case so I postponed it. Some time went by but then the world got a virus (Covid) and I couldn't come in. When everything opened up I called. So the rude office manager called back and said that they won't work on my tooth and that she recommends that I get it extracted. I was so upset that she left that on a my answering service and couldn't have even told me over the phone. So I went back to my dental office and my dentist said that it was salvageable. I built up to courage to call back to Kaban's office and I spoke with Jessica the office manager. She tried telling me that I cancelled 4 times and that was incorrect. I obviously know how many times since I'm the patient. She argued with me then realized that the other appointment was a consult and said ok then 3 times. Still incorrect. Any way the moral of the story is that if the tooth is salvageable then why is this "office manager" arguing with a patient. I'm paying for a service! It's crazy!! She's a total Bit**! Not sure but it seems like her job title as manager has really gotten to her head. Just terrible terrible terrible. Find another office before you have to deal with someone like this. I recently developed a very bad infection that stemmed from a root canal that was done incorrectly about 9 years ago. I was referred to Dr. Kaban to correct the tooth that was damaged and infected, and have had nothing but the best experience so far. His whole staff, Jessica, Nancy & Donald are absolutely amazing to say the least. They have been extremely attentive, making sure that all of my questions are answered, calling to check up on me in between visits, and going above and beyond by quickly getting back to my voicemails even over the weekend when their office is closed. Dr. Kaban himself is extremely kind and made sure to talk to me and keep me posted on how things were going during the dental work he was preforming, which is something I find very comforting as well as rare. Nobody wants a root canal but if you need one, this is the place! His front office Manager was friendly and booked my appointment on a day and time convenient to me. His Dental Assistant was amazing. First one that when using the water & suction didn't make me feel I was being water boarded. The Dr himself was awesome. Great bedside manner. During consultation he asked me if I had any questions or concerns like 3 times. I never felt rushed through the appt. When doing the procedure he was gentle and fast. He kept asking if I was doing ok. And when it was over? I was given his personal cell # in case I was in any pain or had a problem. I had a unforgettable experience with Kaban Endodontics. They were awesome. To start, I had pain in an old root canal tooth and they went out of their way to see me that afternoon to help with the pain, when all of the other Endodontists that I called in the area could not do the same. Following this, my car ended up breaking down on the way to office which subsequently caused me to be late for my appointment. Nancy, the receptionist, was extremely patient and waited 45 minutes for me until I showed up in an uber. I ended up getting out of the appointment an hour later, which I then realized (after I checked the website because they did not complain at all about staying open late) was 2 hours after they were originally meant to close. Nancy, the dental assistant, and Dr. Kaban all stayed two hours after close to help me, which was extremely nice. They also proceeded to tell me to give them a call if I needed any help with my car situation, due to my car being broken down. Following this visit, I came back two other times which were just as comforting. Every time I came they were just as friendly and helpful. Because I am a UC Davis football player and student, my schedule was limited with free time. Nancy was extremely flexible for setting up appointments which made my life a lot easier. After every appointment they sent me off with chapstick (iced pear is the flavor I recommend), water bottles, and pens. It was an great experience in a area where I had no previous dentist history. Not to be overlooked by the great customer service, my tooth also feels great and has had 0 issues. They did their job and they did it extremely well. My wife was really anxious in getting her RCT. Dr. Kaban was very welcoming and everything went very well. He is extremely professional. Nancy had our insurance figured all the way out and what our actual copay would be. I was referred to this office for a possible root canal. They scheduled an appointment within a week. They sent me an email to complete the registration paperwork from home. I arrived just before 1:30 and was greeted by name when I walked in. The front office manager had all of my paperwork ready, and thoroughly explained my insurance benefits. I was seen within a minute or two. X-rays were taken and the exam was completed. The doctor explained to me that I didn't need a root canal, walked me through my X-rays, and what he thought the cause of the pain was. The office manager again was ready to process payment for the consult, sent me with an organic chapstick and pens, and I was heading back home before 2:00. I highly recommend this office. Dr. Kaban and his staff eased my anxiety about my pending procedure. I had been too several dentist before getting a referral to Dr. Kaban and I felt as if the dentists I visited were trying to get over on me by not being clear with the procedure or the expense involved. Nancy, the wonderful office manager greeted me with a smile and a bottle water at each of my 3 visits. I will start with my 1st appointment, I had chipped a molar several months back and it finally started bothering me my dentist left me feeling uneasy about getting a root canal so I looked at a couple other dentists, none who I felt were being honest with me so I decided to go back to my everyday dentist and they referred me to Dr. Kaban's office. Once I walked into Dr. Kaban's office it was clean, organized and run very efficiently I knew I found the right place. I meet with Dr. Kaban he examined my broken tooth and answered all of my questions fully. He then showed me to the front where I was given an appointment for my root canal and very clear instructions on how to ease the pain I was experiencing. The second appointment was exactly one hour long as Dr. Kaban stated it would be and I left feeling great, the horror of the root canal was over and to be honest it was not bad, in fact it hurt less than watching an episode of the Kardashians. Over the weekend I developed some discomfort in the tooth that the root canal was performed on, turns out the temporary filling was a little high, which is something Dr. Kaban warned of after the root canal was completed. I called the office and they fit me in with out a fuss and had me on my way in a matter of minutes. My only regret while walking out of Dr. Kaban's office is that he does not have a general dentistry practice. I find myself at ease knowing where to go if I ever need another root canal(still hoping I wont have to).
