And he has an awesome beard, normally I'm not fond of beards, but his is trimmed and groomed . I don't understand the bad reviews at all. We have been with Thomas Pest for 6 years, and recommend them to everyone. The service is priced well below the local average but we don't suffer from lack of or shortage of great service. They are always on time within their arrival window, and the techs are always completely professional. We just started their mosquito control service this year and couldn't be happier with the outcome, and the price! They also referred us to a great trapper when squirrels started nesting in our attic, and that problem went away quickly and inexpensively. read more

Thomas Pest takes care of termite control at our community. This year they gave each resident a 4 hour window to inspect. I waited the whole day, saw one of the workers having lunch, throwing orange peel in the road. 2 days later there was an inspection form in my door saying they did an inspection at 9am the day I waited for them. 2 weeks later I get a notice of violation from my board, that I did not allow the inspection. I am a subscriber for life! We live near uptown in an old house, so pest control is a must! Since using Thomas Pest, we have never had any issues with pests! They are more cost effective than competitors, thorough, easy to work with, and great at what they do! We recommend our tech, Mike Boyd! He is super professional and wonderful to work with! Thomas Pest Control has been awesome! We have used them for the past 5 years. They actually saved us big time on an addition we did on her current property which saved us a lot of heartache and financial difficulties and helped build a case for our builder to fix the crawl space under our house. Disappointed with the lack of customer service. We had a mice problem that this company could not terminate. They charged us the remaining balance of our quarterly payments and told us there was nothing they can do. I can't believe i still had to pay my balance for a job this company couldn't handle. We took our business elsewhere and the mice problem was gone immediately. If you're looking for a pest company, avoid them. read more

We used these guys for more than 8 years and the service is mostly good. We had a huge wasp nest in one of the vent and they started coming inside the house - they charged us over $100 and treated inside the house whereas the nests were at the vent and the vasps kept on coming- later I bought $10 spray and killed them at the vent. But I still continued the service. We had to be out for a little over than a month when they had a scheduled treatment and we had to move it out. Later when we returned, they increased the price by $20 and the lady didn't care to keep my account at the previous price. I cancelled the service and getting good service from home pest defense. I won't recommend these guys. read more

Would give a minus if I could. On our first service they called and asked if they could come early. I told them they we would not be home please do not. The tech came early anyway. I called the office 2 times to find out about the service ... what the tech did. Where he did it what critters we were protected against etc... I felt as though I was bothering the office girl both times and I never got an answer nor a call back. If they treat me this bad when trying to get my business wonder how bad they would treat me after they get it. ( they never will) I recommend that you call someone else read more

I'm really surprised at the bad reviews Thomas Pest has on here! Our service was really bad with Terminix and in trying to call them to complain, I accidentally called Thomas. The lady on the phone was so pleasant and helpful that I ended up switching to her company. We have been with them several years now and have no complaints at all. The technicians are always pleasant and professional. At one point, even after treatment, we were having a really bad problem with ants in the summer. I called and a supervisor came and and made sure the problem was solved. I would definitely recommend them. read more

I couldn't be happier with my decision to chose Thomas Pest Control as my exterminators. Customer Service has been top notch, very professional and answered all my questions. I have had a couple different technicians come and treat my house all of which have been extremely thorough and seemed very knowledgeable of the different bugs in our area. I was impressed at the steps taken to get rid of my ants which the company I had before seemed unable to do for what seemed like forever. Needless to say I am very happy with my services from pest to mosquitoes, the customer service I have received, and the professionalism the technicians always seem to have when the treat my home. We became customers of Thomas Pest Control in March. Right way we had problems. A technician came out and was extremely rude and sprayed chemicals 10 inches from myself and my 6 month old child while we were sitting on the porch waiting for him to complete the interior spray. I tried to get out of the way and even asked him to stop spraying and he didn't. Then we find out that when we had a spider mite infestation that was even around the back door, it wasn't covered under our pest plan (when I was told every bug except for bees and any flying insects was covered under this yearly contract) and we would have to pay an additional 150.00 for them to come out ONCE and treat for spider mites. They couldn't even guarantee how many treatments it would take and wanted an additional 150 PER TREATMENT with me paying quarterly for their pest services. I was shocked. I could understand if we weren't a contracted customer with them, but we are. I called two big pest control chains and two family owned chains. I explained my situation to them regarding the spider mites and thomas pest control and they said that was their problem and they needed to fix it because it's a pest and they are your pest control company. They said they could come out no problem for us and treat the issue for a one time fee of 150.00. Two of them even said multiple treatments, if needed, would be covered in that fee. Two of the companies even came out to make sure the insect infestation we had was indeed spider mites. I called Thomas back and explained the situation and they said sorry. They told me that I could pay 150 and maybe have the problem fixed but that since that chemical was in the "big trucks" and we would "need to treat your whole yard", I was expected to pay 150 additionally. I asked to be let out of my contract after paying for another quarter in June and was told that no one could make that decision because the owner was on a fishing trip and wouldn't be back until Monday. I find it sad that the owner isn't confident enough in his employees to make decisions regarding contracted customer service issues and that their customers have to wait on his excursions to end in order for business to be conducted as usual. I am throughly disappointed in the service, customer service and over-all job that this company provided. In the past two days, since this issue arose, I have hired a new pest control company that came out three times and treated the spider mite problem. They came out that day and took care of everything. Thankfully I found a reputable company that knows how to treat their customers fairly. read more

We have been with Thomas Pest Control since 2006 and they are amazing. I am very appreciative of how responsive they are to our ad-hoc needs and they are always on top of our regular service as well. When the guys come in the house they wear booties to protect our carpet, which is great. I highly recommend Thomas for your pest control needs. read more
