I've come here three times trying to set up an order for Oklahoma Flagstone for my greenhouse I built in January. The first time I met a blonde lady in the office who acted like my grandmother and I were idiots for not having researched the process to order before showing up even though we have been customers of Nowles for years. The second time, we spoke with a young man in very tight shorts who promised to put our name down on a list and call us back as they were "busy planting grasses!" Three weeks later, I call again and get the blonde lady who sounds frustrated I'm bothering her with a call only to learn there is no list and she wants to start the process over again. There was ONE lovely gentleman, named Carlos, who stopped what he was doing and politely helped us each time we showed up. I hope he gets a raise!! Currently Nowles is a waste of time and energy. Reading through previous reviews, it sounds like management is trying their very best to drive this business ALL the way into the ground.

All spring I have been re-doing my landscaping all around my newly purchased home. I procured river…read morerock from Noles only after I had procured it from another establishment. The only reason I tried Noles is because it was closer to my house for the transport of the rock and their website and staff proclaim the cost for 1 cubic yard of river rock is $90. Which is within a few dollars of what I paid at the other establishment for 1 cubic yard. However, the problem is, Noles only gives you half of the amount of product that that other provider does. I have since gone back to the competitor 2 more times and have received the same amount of rock as the first time I frequented them for the $95 they advertise. Which is double what you would get from Noles even though they advertise they will give you the same amount. Once again, the cost is relatively the same both places. I verified with not only the gentlemen that loaded the rock at Noles but also the gentlemen that sold me the rock that this was the correct amount given to. They both said yes. So, moral of the story is do not go to Noles because you will get ripped off. They will only give you half the amount of product they advertise you are obtaining and pay for.

Very warm and welcoming and the service was excellent from the conversation to the drink suggestions. The cost is around the same that you would spend at Starbucks but I always love supporting local businesses first if possible. We got the Calathea + Cream and it was by far the best matcha drink I've tasted. It was so nice and creamy, with a earthy taste in the middle, and the sweet strawberry taste to finish. If you're in the area of the square in downtown Denton I would definitely stop by and grab a drink to walk around with. It's definitely worth it and you won't regret it.

Now let me say this: I do NOT like matcha... or at least I thought I didn't. The strawberry lemonade matcha completely changed my mind. It was so well balanced, refreshing, and smooth--no bitterness at all. The drinks are high quality, thoughtfully made, and very reasonably priced for the portion and experience you get. The service was amazing too. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. You can tell they genuinely care about what they're serving and the people coming in. If you're into cute plant-filled spaces, great drinks, or even if you think you don't like matcha this place is 100% worth it. I'll definitely be back.

What a cool spot!…read more We turned one street too early by mistake, but I'm not mad about it! There in the old Small Fry building we saw a sign for Denton Vintage Market! I wouldn't have known if we hadn't randomly driven by. Our curiosity made us stop to check it out. FYI, don't be deterred by the construction out front. The parking lot is in the back, as is the entrance. We walked past a sign about shopping local and then we were immediately smacked in the face by all sorts of eye candy!! This is essentially a store built of local vendor booths, so there is a ton of variety when it comes to the different products and price ranges. I was really impressed by how reasonable most of the prices were and how different so many of the products were. Also, this place is like a Mary Poppins bag, everywhere I looked there was another new room. I never realized this building had this type of square footage from the outside. In one room I discovered a section of Small Fry items, that was so nice! I'm including pictures because I couldn't possibly tell you how extensive the selection is for children's clothing, toys, adult clothing, purses and totes, home décor, jewelry, skin care and even furniture. I saw multiple vintage tea sets, an old coffee pot and some really cool luggage. I really wish I had discovered this place before the holidays, I found so many perfect and unique items for all the different people in my life. The staff is lovely and there was some delicious hot chocolate there as well! They are open Wednesdays through Saturdays and they were also advertising upcoming painting classes. They don't have a website currently, so you can keep up with their events on Facebook. If you believe in shopping local then this is your place and these are your people! Check it out!
