This service was through my auto insurance. After I called my insurance they said that Thomas auto rescue would be out within 45 min and to have my copay ready to give them. At about 45 min I checked my phone to find 2 missed calls (1 from insurance and 1 from an unknown) as I listened to the vm from my insurance a text came through that my lockout service was canceled. I immediately called the number and apologized for missing their call. The guy who answered laid into me about not answering my phone when he had called me six times. He kept emphasizing that he is the owner and he called me 6 times and if you dont answer his calls no service. I said sir can you please still come out and again he read me the riot act about not answering 6 times (verifiably false after checking my call log it was 2 times and my phone never rang so not sure what happened there?)
He said he could be out in 2 hours which was honestly fine by me, and then he sarcastically told me I would just have to be patient. I had not reacted in any way to the time, I was actually pretty happy it was only 2 hours.
The whole call I got maybe 2 full sentences in, essentially apologizing and trying to see if he would still come out, while he went off about answering my phone. It was a wild conversation and I called my neighbor to come over because he was so aggressive on the phone. An hour later I got a message from my insurance that he had canceled because i didnt answer my phone. He had not called again so I think he was just mad about...whatever he was mad about.
I would not recommend this service to anyone. read more
