Well it was one of those times that I needed a Vietnamese dish. On the Southside it's rare to find places that can seriously get it right. Well this time i was elated to not only get my coconut soup but also another dish with the perfection of tofu. What? I am a believer! Our waiter was amazing, he literally stood there given us some good poi tears and his favorites. I like that. Now you have to see that this restaurant is not big, actually very narrow, but fits a comfortably sized array of tables to accom9date. In summer you can sit outside in their enclosed room, but colder weather definitely try gives you the I timely of conversation. The food was impeccable and the fact the waiter let us share a soup and bring it out in 2 bowls was kind to say the least. I like that, as the partner and I don't really eat big meals. Now let me mention that the cucumber martini was one of my favorites. It had saki infused it in according to our waiter. Is this the secret Ingredient that made me yearn another? This is a solid restaurant in Evergreen Park. I came here last weekend with my family for dinner and we were seated right away. I ordered noodle dish and it was delicious. As long as I lived near this place, I hadn't known it existed until a friend invited me a few years ago. I'm glad I went because this place has become a regular for me :-). I really enjoyed the pad see eiw, which I order every time I go. They have an expansive martini bar and you will get your money's worth because they aren't shy about liquor. They usually fill your glass to the brim and they taste good. It's a small and quaint establishment and I really have a good time each time I visit. During the pandemic they added a small enclosed outdoor space, which I thought was pretty smart. My only complaint is that the parking lot is very small, but it's street parking around within walking distance. read more

Excellent service. The staff is professional, kind, warm, welcoming, attentive and accommodating. The food is not authentic Thai nor Vietnamese. They do not use fish sauce to season or salt the dishes. Expect mildly flavoured dishes with fresh ingredients. The beef pho is served with small tender cubes of beef rather than thin slices. This changes with mouth feel and flavour balance. Thin sliced beef is better for pho. Ambiance is lovely in front of the house. The path to the restroom is a bit cluttered with things that should not be visible in an upscale restaurant such as this (bags of rice, linens in plastic bags). read more

Yesterday, I purchased the Thai fried rice with vegetables, the Thai fried rice with beef, and the Thai egg rolls for $71.50. My order was not ready by the estimated time and the bag was extremely heavy. While eating the food, we noticed an odd smell, the food smelled spoiled. The beef was tough and undercooked, and there were several eggshells in both the fried rice orders. I've been ordering from ThiThi's since they opened and to receive such poor quality food, rushed food, is beyond disappointing. My family and friends have patronized this restaurant for years, and our patronage will stop. read more

We visited Thithi's on several occasions and usually the food is served hot off the press. I like the Pad Thai with Chicken and the crab ragoon. The atmosphere is a bit loud because it's a small place, I suppose. The bartenders definitely know how to make your martini's right. Not much parking for the restaurant. I have been wanting to try this restaurant out for a very long time. This is the end right in my community and I only live several minutes away. I met an associate for Martinis at the bar. The martini list is quite intimidating. It's over two pages of various assorted martinis sweet strong on the rocks. Any possible combination you can fathom they can make it I was overwhelmed so the bartender just asked me several questions on how I like my drink. I told her sweet and delicious and she delivered with a passion fruit martini Let me tell you this is a four-star review just based on that drink. It was amazing. It was filled to the brim. I was invited here by a friend not knowing what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised! The drinks were plentiful! Their cocktails list is extensive! I went with the Berry Green Tea and was not disappointed. I also order the Pad Thai with shrimp. Unfortunately the shrimp was over cooked which was disappointing but the dish overall was good. I finished the night with a glass of Prosecco and wrapped up my leftovers. We visited around 7pm on a Sunday night so there was a short wait but it was worth it. Sooooo, I've literally stalked this restaurant for years. Small neighborhood restaurant in Evergreen Park, Thithi's offers French, Thai and Chinese cuisine with.......COCKTAILS!!! For my initial visit, I order to go which I usually don't do, but I was tired and ready to chill. My initial thought of the restaurant was its super cute. Definitely date night vibes. They do have parking with some street parking as well. We ordered the Thai egg rolls, pad thai and garlic chicken stir fry. I wish we would have stayed to dine in because though it was delish, it would have been better if we would have eaten right there when served. Nonetheless, dinner was delicious! The thai egg rolls, though a little different, they was good. I prefer crispy eggrolls over the doughy ones, and these were right up my alley. Would I go back? Most definitely! Have you ever wanted to like a place? That was my experience here at Thithi's. I really wanted to love it because my best friend talked about it so much but it was Mid. The fried rice was different...nothing to write home about and my pineapple upside down drink left me asking for a different drink. The Rum Punch at the end was pretty tasty and made me regret I didn't order that at first, but since it's a martini bar I thought ordering a martini would be smart. I think I have to come back and give it another try because the first time just wasn't right sadly. Also the appetizers gave me air fried frozen food vibes. Maybe it was a bad? I really wanted to love this place... the ambiance is nice, my friend & I went on a Saturday afternoon and sat outside. The appetizers were lackluster (chicken wings, spring rolls and calamari) I LOVE calamari, theirs is frozen, and were chewy. The chicken was just ok (we sent it back). The spring rolls were yummy. They have an extensive martini menu, I ordered the one called Summer (something) very good, my friend ordered the one with Tito's and some other mixture and it tasted like medicine. Main meal: was pineapple fried rice (it was OK! I've had better fried rice from the corner Chinese restaurant, lacked seasoning and flavor) and the tempura chicken meal with veggies... the best part was the white rice...this one lacked salt! On top of the unseasoned and unflavorful food, they charge a 20% service charge... there was no notice of this prior and there were only 2 of us. Meal was about $130 Overpriced and underwhelmed. Safe to say, that we tried it, and will never return, the $16 martinis and ambiance aren't worth it. As far as the service it was just OK as well, we told the waitress that this was our 1st time dining there, and TYPICALLY a waitress will give recommendations or welcome you for trying them out, we weren't given that. This place is so amazing. Great ambiance and food. Never had a problem getting a reservation. The only problem is the fact they don't practice noise control. Patrons come in with speaker phones and have loud conversations or play music. the bar area which is right where you eat and they are extremely noisy. Very loud drunk patrons so loud that you can't hold a conversation. Don't sit in the back where the bigger parties are.. they truly perform like they are at a club or in a private room. While the food itself was decent, the staff couldn't accommodate vegetarian alternatives for their lunch specials. Which is okay, but the alternate option they suggested was to order dinner portion, for the exact same entree. This we agreed to, but the price was $25 for an order of vegetable fried rice. $7 more than their lunch special, with negligible change in quantity (based on other tables' orders) and no appetizer or soup. Felt like insult to injury. And to add, the appetizer and soup were double the price compared to a similar styled restaurant, with half the quantity. Mildly recommended for take out. I can't speak for dine-in experience. The setting looked really nice from what I saw when I went to pick the food up. Speaking from what I experienced, it's a mild recommendation. I might dine-in to experience the food fresh and straight from the kitchen. This review only pertains to take out which honestly isn't ever the same experience as dining in. What I ordered: crab cream cheese crispy rolls and vegetable fried rice. Crab Rolls: the ingredients and taste were easily my favorite part. I ate it at room temperature but it was still good. Not a lot of crab but enough of other veggies to enhance the taste and crunch. The quantity was easily the most disappointing part. $11 for 3 rolls. The size rivals to basic egg rolls. Not worth the price. Fried Rice: this was disappointing. $16 a reasonable size. It wasn't spicy as I expected. The taste was as expected and the ingredients were traditional Thai food. I have to dine in to experience the atmosphere and see if there is a different. Might update rating afterwards. For now, it seems like a good place for date night but not for your lunch. read more

Extremely overpriced and whatever ambiance they are advertising might apply to somewhere in the restaurant but not in the 6th ring of hell they say us in. We went for a special meal for two. We got the appetizer platter, 2 entrees and a total of 4 Sapporo beers with a bill of 185.00 with tip. The appetizer platter is was vegetable tempura with 6 egg rolls (4 cut in half) and two chicken skewers. Not tasty or memorable. The mains were equally overpriced, but given the way the restaurant was advertised, you would have thought it was going to be extremely well made, which was not the case. All of this i might have let go given that this was for a special occasion. However; they had us sitting in a brightly lit side room that felt like overflow seating and had a table of 4 which was so loud that another table of guests were trying to shush them. The volume was so loud you couldn't hear yourself or speak to each other. This was a sustained volume for the entire meal. We were seated with no wait on a Saturday around 6pm. This place is obviously a neighborhood favorite because they were packed inside and outside and the servers greeted and hugged some patrons in a familiar manner. They have a huge book full of creative cocktails and a large food menu as well. I had rice, salad, and a mango margarita. Since I ordered plain-Jane items, I cannot comment extensively on the food, but the drink was good. The inside dining room ambience is crowded and feels cluttered and loud. The tables are squeezed quite close together. There are lots of servers throughout the dining room and they are very efficient. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time considering how packed it was in there. My dining companions ordered Garlic Chicken, Lamb Skewers, and enjoyed their food but did not particularly love it. I would go back and try some other dishes so I can give a more thorough review, but I would try to do so when it is not so crowded, or I would try to sit outside where it's not such a cluttered atmosphere. read more

This is the best Thai fusion restaurant on the southside and it has an incredibly extensive menu both for food and drink. Their cocktails are creative and delicious. They really try on presentation, atmosphere and flavor. When they make something spicy, they are serious about it! The only thing that makes this place not a weekly event is how loud the place gets. You can't have a conversation because for some reason everyone else is always screaming in there. Despite the insane volume levels, the food and drink quality speaks for itself, as does the interior cleanliness and service. read more

This is a hidden gem. Food was fresh and came out quickly. Ordered the green bean tempura as a appetizer and the wings and both weee really good. For my entree I had the drunken noodles which came with chicken but you can other shrimp as well. You have the option to add spice to it, which I did and they did not hold back on the spice.
