So if you are new to the studio or to yoga, then I highly recommend signing up for the one week beginner trial and trying as many classes as you can to get a feel for all the different classes and teachers. There are many teachers who I love and connect with, and to be honest their are some who's teaching styles don't speak to me. That's the beauty of this place and all the options. I did see someone leave a one star review that only took one class, and said that this place is only for beginners. I've been doing yoga for years, and have taken Flow and Power Flow classes at this studio with Faye, Chantal, and Virginia where they tried to guide you through more advanced poses/ techniques. Even in the gentle flow classes that I've taken with Faye and Darby, they give you the space to make it your own practice and go into more advanced techniques if you have them in your practice during their class. They always offer different options for everyone in class, based on their experience/ practice/ body. I also highly recommend taking breathwork with Elaine on Monday nights and the sound bath on Sunday nights, and give it a second chance if you're tried it once before. The first time, its hard to get out of your head, but once you can get present and go with the flow of what your body needs, its a great experience. I always feel lighter afterwards.

My therapist Janelle was really great, good energy and technique was therapeutic! I do have to note that there is nobody who works the front desk. When I arrived there was no intro, no check in, nada~ I didn't love that for safety reasons and from a customer service perspective. Especially since it was only myself and the therapist inside. The room smelled heavily of paint fumes which in turn made me feel worse than when I arrived. I asked Janelle if the spa was painted recently and she said no, but there is adjacent construction. I had to place tissue on the face cradle to help with the smell and when I flipped onto my back I had her get me a tissue and put some essential oil on it so I could stuff it into my nostrils. While this construction is taking place the spa might consider investing in air purifiers, plants that absorb odors and toxins, as well as some essential oils diffusing. My body feels good thanks for Janelle, but I'm not sure I'll be back for the reasons listed.

There is reflexology and then there is reflexology. Mitta's treatment is golden, very professional, very effective. There is a huge difference between a 15 minute treatment in a mall, and having a full one-hour reflexology treatment. When you are done, you feel like you had a full body massage. Even some shoulder pain I was having was gone. She really gets into the reflexology points and works out the kinks. She can even tell where you are having problems from poking at your feet. A real reflexology treatment starts without any type of lotion. All the points in the feet are worked over and then at the very end Mitta uses some lotion to massage the calves and finish off the feet. She is formally trained and it shows. From the jump he locked in on what I actually needed -- tightening up form, not rushing, focusing on form, smarter programming with my sets, and pushing past the usual comfort zone without wrecking my joints. He really dialed in small adjustments that made a big difference (stuff I honestly should've caught by now), and the session never felt generic. Real knowledge and the right amount of push. Nicholas takes his time with each pose...opening your muscles deeper each time.
